The staff is very friendly and really helpful You always get a service with a smile. Food quality is good, and there is a lot of choice. There a re a lot of things to do and there is something for everyone from small children, to teenagers to adults.

Quality if drinks is poor for a resort rated as 5 star. Also the all inclusive is valid until 11pom while some bars remain open until 1am. If you pay Eur600 a night you would think you're not expected to pay for the two extra hours.

Fantastic and beautiful resort, enough entertainment for the whole family. Absolutely good value for money along with great food!

All the outdoor pools were extremely cold, so much so that very few people actually swam and our daughter would go purple from cold after a few minutes in the pools.

It is by far the best resort I have ever visited. The employees are providing a fantastic service from the cleaning staff that keeps the resort spotless, to the lifeguards that keep the water park safe for all the customers and the front desk staff delivered great service throughout our stay The Stella resort’s Facilities are exceptional. And It’s location is great (by the beach and about 25 min from the airport). The water park is very fun, there are slides for all age groups and enough to keep the family entertained several days. Last but not least, the food provided is very good. The staff offers new options on a daily basis from grilled fresh fish to traditional Cretan dishes. We always found something great to eat and never felt bored. And we had a wonderful time at their new restaurant the Almyra (à la carte) with a great service and great selection of wines. All in all, our family had a fantastic vacation at the Stella Palace.

The room could have way more storage for the clothes and belongings. We travel light but still it. As near impossible to unpack our single luggage (19kg)

The only thing that made me a bit sad is, that I feel like the stuff is not very trustable to the greek clients. We've been asked to prove our booking confirmation three times uppon our arrival ( which i saw wasnt a standard with the other guests ) , so they can make sure that we are really guests of the hotel. Ok, I understand, that maybe this has something to do with a preview bad experience with some other local clients, but it made me fell a bit uncomfortable, and left a bit bitter taste of the whole stay. We really wanted to live for a few days the whole experience of the all inclusive service, and be one of the many guests. But anyway, most of the stuff was UNBELIEVABLE kind and sweet :*

The water park was fantastic. Staffs there taking good charge. So many entertainments.

We got invited for dinner at the new resteruant near by the ocean the night before we check off, , said it's new opened one, but the woman with long curly hair which was supervisor or something, she wasn't very nice to us, refused us 2 times for table changing , and they gave us the wrong time for the sunset, we was planed to have a sunset dinner there. I traveled many country and many hotels, never really seeing any one refuse guest's table change request. Was really horrible experience, I even said 'this is our last night stay here' can we switch to the table near the ocean, there were 3 people ate there and just left. My answer was even rediculious, said that table was for 4 person.

First of all the staff - the hotel staff is EXCELLENT and by the end of the day the way you are treated is what matters. We arrived very late at the hotel and the hotel staff prepared sandwiches, salads, cheese and fruits for us. That was already a beatiful gesture! Mr. George received us with a big smile and full explanations. My daughter has celiac and the hotel offered a variety of gluten free products. The restaurant manager Mrs. Charyssa (a true ANGEL) took care of her and *everyday* came to her to ask what she would like to eat. The food was excellent thanks to chef Yorgos and manager Nikos took care of the Veranda restaurant as it was his own home. The hotel is huge and they have club cars with polite and funny drivers! Stelios was one of them and he took us everywhere, talking to us in Hebrew, always smiling. Every evening there was an excellent entertaining ptogram with talented artists.

The room service app does not work. One day we received less towels than the number of people in the room and needed toilet paper and made a request through the app but nothing happened. Something minor, considering all the good things...The hotel deserves a 10!

The staff are so lovely and helpful, they couldn't do enough for you. The water park was amazing but we only used it once due to a change in the weather. Room size and facilities were good (the shower was amazing), we had a family suite with a balcony overlooking the private sharing pool (which we could use) but next time we would go for a family suite with direct access to this pool. The mini bar was stocked daily with soft drinks, water and a couple of beers which was a nice surprise! Hotel is nice and clean and the food was great, especially in the Asian and Mexican restaurant. We didn't get to book into the Greek restaurant which was a shame. You can book into each restaurant using their app but I would do this as soon as you arrive as they get booked up quickly. Just look out for the switches next to the front door as two are for housekeeping so if you press the 'do not disturb' by mistake instead of the the light switch, you won't get your room cleaned or fresh towels. Easily sorted out with a call to reception though if you do. If you're booking your own transfer to and from the airport, use Heraklion Taxis which you can book on their website. It cost €45 each way (less in a car but there were 5 of us) in a Mercedes Vito mini van. Very reliable and friendly service. Taxis booked from the hotel are €20 more.

Only one thing.... That the pools weren't heated at this time of year!

The food was superb in all restaurants, great variety, fresh and plenty for both kids and adults. Our room type suited us perfected with two teenagers as they had their own privacy and space for us all to move around and get ready.

The beach area was limited, with no bar / drinks offer despite being private beach. I don't think sharing some facilities with Stella Village works, as the entertainment is then packed with them with and was a bit chaotic. Would also expect waiter service for drinks around the pool as we have seen in other 5 star resorts we have stayed in such as Mitsis. They also need more bar staff as queues long at times, which frustrating if you just want some water!

Well organized. Everything is managed well. Not crowded. Food was also nice. People in hotel was amazing. The best part was waterpark. It was huge and all generations can be satisfied. We, our family, were also pleased.

It was all inclusive. Kinds of snacks were very few. Only pancake and ice cream corn was all for us. Restaurants were very warm without air conditioners because of no inside area. It was too hot to have a meal.
