The location of the studio was perfect. It was close to the old town and 1 minute away from a mini-market and a nice taverna. We slept perfectly for two whole weeks...the area is quiet and the bed's mattress comfortable. The kitchenette was equipped with everything you need(coffee,tea,sandwich maker, cooking plate). The Iron machine, the safe and the hairdryer available were a big + for us. The towels were changed frequently and the room was cleaned and prepared daily. We mostly enjoyed Nikos sense of humor, his kindness and open minded personality. Thank you so much for making our free time so enjoyable!

The apartment was beautifully appointed and came with everything we need: a hairdryer, iron, kitchenette with a tea kettle, toaster, small fridge etc. They even provided extra sheets for those cooler nights, which we particularly appreciated. Nikos, the host, was incredibly helpful and attentive, tailoring our stay to fit our needs perfectly. He gave us fantastic recommendations for the best restaurants, must-see places, and exciting things to do around Malia. His local insights truly enhanced our experience. The pool was a fantastic addition, providing a refreshing escape on hot days. Overall, our stay at Sunshine Studios was memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. Nikos was so helpful and gave us great tips on places to go and looked out for us our whole stay, so friendly, especially as we just moved as our previous hotel was not very good he was very accommodating. Room was light and airy, good air con unit, very clean and well presented. In an amazing spot as a short walk from everywhere you would want to go. Quiet hotel and was never kept up by noise but only a short walk to the strip so the best of both worlds

Starting with the host who helped us a lot with everything we need, the rooms here beautiful, recently renovated and equiped with everything you need. The cleanliness was spotless. Clean towels refreshed almost daily, trash can emptied, tidy up the beds. It has it's own parking right in front of the studio.

The only minus is about the bathroom that needs a refresh. The toilet seat was old and the bowl had some cracks. Even so, everything was clean and that is the most important part. Since everything else was perfect, I will not deduct a point for this and give this acommodation a solid 10

The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the place was spotless and extremely cozy. The host went above and beyond to make my stay special, offering fantastic tips on local attractions and dining spots, ranging from authentic to trendy. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and lively nightlife, making it super convenient for exploring everything the area has to offer.

Perfect location, away from the noise of the bars and clubs but steps away from old town in quiet street. Supermarket nearby and beach 10mns walk. Beautiful and clean pool. Room comfortable with everything you need and cleaned everyday. Helpful and caring owner. I recommend to anyone coming to malia to relax.

WOW!!! I arrived to Crete super early in the morning off a ferry & was looking for a place to stay in Malia. That's when I read the reviews for Nikos and the Sunshine studios & apartments & they couldn't be more correct.. Niko's is an absolutely wonderful host, accommodated me at very very short notice. The room was clean, airy & looked very recently renovated. The location is perfect as it's close to everything but not too close as for it to be loud at nighttime. & the beds.. OMG !! When I get home I need a new bed, that's how comfortable these beds were.. I have nothing but positive things for Nikos & the staff of Sunshine studios & apartments, if your thinking of coming to Malia, this place is perfect & I can't recommend it enough!!!
