Location - location - location --> for Blue Star the following morning. Also, I like that reception is manned 24/7 with friendly staff that actually always is at their desk, and they are at their desk opening the door electronically once you want to enter. This is a layer of extra security that is good in this area.

Some basic maintenance is lacking like light bulb in shower, lacking light in nice large balcony. Toilet seat that does not stay up (falls down automatically). Would have been nice with room safe.

Hotel staff were very pleasant. Although there is no parking- the lot across from the hotel was offered for 11 Euros a day- coming and going as desired- which was a plus since parking is challenging in Piraeus, so close to the port. Shops all around- so there really was no need for a car- since the Metro train is right around the corner and will get you to all the sites in Athens, but we had a car.

The small lobby is actually up a flight of stairs before you access the elevator- HOWEVER- staff does offer to help you with your luggage to get up and down the initial stairs. It could use a little updating- especially in the bathroom- which was tight- but for the price- acceptable. Not a high end hotel but it served us for what we needed for 3 nights and the price was very reasonable.

We didn't need much as this was just a short night stay before we departed on our cruise the next day. Location was easy to find and they allowed us to stay an hour after check out as our ship didn't leave till the afternoon. There were a few restaurants nearby with some good food.

The hotel and area are a bit run down but for 1 night it was fine. The shower head did not have a bracket so you had to hold the shower head as you were washing, which was annoying but seems semi common throughout Europe.

Don't get me wrong - the 10/10 rating by no means suggest this is luxury accommodation, but the location and value for money can't be beat! Clean rooms and friendly staff was all we needed for a night's stay between airport arrival and ferry departure, and that's what we got. Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous location to ferries!!!

The location of this hotel is perfect for travelling by ferry to Santorini as it's so close to the port. And it is very close to the airport bus X96 stop in Piraeus. You can also take the airport bus X96 back to the airport on the opposite side of the stop you get off at Karaiskaki Square. It's also a walking distance to eateries, supermarkets and Piraeus marina. There is a small fridge in the room, but no kettle. The location of this hotel is quite easy to find if you arrive by the airport bus X96, just tell the driver that you want to get off at Karaiskaki Square, then walk straight ahead till you see the street named Kapoudistrio, turn into this street, walk about 50m, you will see this hotel on the right. We chose to stay at this hotel twice as it's so convenient for us when travelling by ferry and by plane. The room is simple, but we find it pleasant.

With its perfect location, we are satisfied with the room for 2 nights, but be careful when you get out of the lift as it's a bit tricky with the stair design and you might trip over. Just watch out on the narrow stairs when you get out of the lift. Please also note that from the entrance to the reception, there is a stair way leading to the reception desk and the lift.

This hotel is extremely close to port where ferries come and go. It is a great place to stay before leaving on a trip or returning from one. The metro to the airport is only steps away. The manager is a very kind and flexible person. He helped me out a lot by letting me do an early checkin when I was really exhausted from a difficult night trying to sleep on the ferry. Also, there is an elevator to upper floors. I had three bags and the elevator made everything easy.

Perfect for short stay, we needed to be close to the ferry for our early departure, we walked 3 minutes to the ferry. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful, rooms were extremely clean and great value for money. We stayed with small two kids and it was comfortable. Thanks

I got a 2p room that was oudated and basic, but large and clean. The location was perfect to stay a few hours to catch a ferry the next morning, 3 minute walk from E7. Reception is 24/7 and very friendly. They sell bottles of water for normal prices. Also some nice bakeries around that around open almost 24/7. After reading negative reviews I was prepared for everything and I was pleasantly surprised. You get what you pay for, maybe even a bit more!

It is noisy from the hallways and airconditioning units outside, bring some earplugs and an eye mask. But nothing unexpected.

This is a CHEAP TWO-STAR hotel. The price was excellent and the facilities were minimal - just what you would expect from a two-star hotel. Everything was old but perfectly clean. A very nice place so spend a cheap night before an early morning port departure.

Bad view, very old building, narrow corridors - but that's what you expect from a two-star property.
