I like the location. It was also very cheap

A specific attitude of a receptionist when we asked for a help to order food at very late night. We understand that the hotel didn't have this services but we asked if they know where we can order. Hopefully another customer was their and help us. The issue was the reception reaction. He didn't want to help at all. A hotel receptionist should be able to help and answer at least in a nice way if he cannot.

- The location was excellent and perfect for anyone traveling/wishing to move around on foot or by local transit: across the beautiful municipal garden, a couple of minutes away from the Old Town of Rethymno, 12-minute walk to the central bus station (with connections to Chania, Chania Airport, Heraklion, and other destinations), 15-minute walk to Rethymno Beach. - The hotel staff was super-friendly and of great assistance. I deeply appreciate the fact that I was able to check in at midnight, and that they let me leave my suitcase in a luggage room for a few hours after my checkout, so that I would take a walk around town before my departure from Rethymno. - Breakfast was tasty and consisting of a nice variety of savoury and sweet options, as well as hot and cold beverages. - The overall hotel experience is really good for people traveling alone and/or for business.

The wall-mounted hair dryer was a little wobbly (swifching off and on), but it was only a minor inconvenience.

Hotel has superb, amazingly professional and kind and sweet staff. They exceeded in helping me during the stay and made everything possible to make my stay in Brascos as pleasant as possible, I loved the friendliness and kindness of reception and restaurant staff. I highly recommend the hotel because you feel like you are staying with the family. I also loved the food the hotel, everything was super fresh and dinners were fantastic Greek home cooking. I was also using a lot swimming pool and room terrace which had park view. Hotel has wonderful location in the center of the city, with a lot of nearby shops, restaurants and cafes, very close to the city bus station and walking distance to the city beach. The bus station for daily trips (like Elafonisi, Balos, etc.) is just across the street which was super convenient. You can find hotels with more luxurious furniture, but you cannot find hotel in Crete with more welcoming and nicer staff than Brascos. Thank you for everything and you showed me once again that tourism is always and only about people! You are the best of Cretan hospitality!

Next time when I visit Brascos, I hope to be able to go to the rooftop bar which was under renovation this time. The view must be superb!!

I had a very comfortable stay at Brascos. Its basic but has everything you need for a couple a of days exploring the old town. The location is perfect: just at the entrance of the old town, near the bus station, and near the port. Check in was quick - kind people at reception.

The shower was overflowing.

Pity the rooftop area was closed during our stay, I can imagine a nice view over the city ;-)

Nice breakfast! The room was clear.

The fridge did not work when the customer went out of it as it was needen to put the room's key at specific position. As a result, food and drinks could not be cold.

Excellent location in the old town, close to everything. Rooms are basic but they come with a balcony and the facilities are fully functional (AC, WiFi, refrigerator, TV with international channels). Nice breakfast and excellent dinner, with plenty of options, strongly recommended if you're a foodie. Reception and restaurant staff very kind and helpful (many thanks to Ms Arena -restaurant). Very happy with my stay, therefore I booked this hotel twice.

The area of the swimming pool need to be more cleaned and organized properly for the high season (august). It is potentially a nice area.

The staff was really friendly and helpful! Breakfast tasted good. The location is perfect, the old town is really close. Good place to stay for reasonable money. It was my second time here.

Something was wrong with facilities in the room I had this time. The floor in the bathroom was wet all the time and I still have no idea, where was it coming from.

Helpful staff, breakfast dependable, all the cappucino you can drink. For the price, at the center of the city, you can't beat it.

The room doors are hollow core with no chain or other locks for security purposes. I did not like that at all. Again for the price I guess this was acceptable. Parking can be problematic.
