Where to start. This was the definition of hospitality from the get go. From the owner (the amazing Jurgen) staying up until almost midnight to welcome me to the hotel with a smile despite my lateness to his volunteering to drive me to the airport to catch my flight this stay was special. Located in Old town this hotel is a wonderful find. Close enough to all attractions but hidden and oh so quiet when you need to get away, just perfect. Lovely bright and clean room with the lovely smell of the wooden beams and clean sheets. Breakfast was a lovely continental affair with all you would need cooked onsite by Jurgen himself. Eating on the roof terrace in the sun was just an added bonus. Room was clean and comfortable and just what you needed to come back to after a long days exploring the old town or nearby beaches if that's your thing. I could go on about how lovely this little place was but other (better articulated reviews) have done this already and I am sure there will be many more like this to come. I would just like to end by saying in Midgaard Suites I have found a second home in Greece and in Jurgen a new friend. Absolute legend! God bless you my man!

Everything was perfect. The hotel is a little gem, ideally located in Old Town, but closed enough to the new town as well and to all attractions. The facilities are brand new and everything was rigorously chosen, top quality. The room was pretty big, clean, nicely decorated, with a beautiful private garden. We decided to have the breakfast at the hotel every morning as it was delicious and served on the rooftop with an amazing view of the Old Town monuments. Finally, fair to say that our stay was definitely enhanced by Jurgen and his family, who managed the hotel. He is the nicest host, always available, of great advise and great help. He provided us with dinner recommendations, visit itinerary and helped us book a car last minute. I would like to thank him again for his kindness. Will return to the same hotel next time in Rhodes !!!

Nothing negative to disclose

The property and location were the best. 2 mins walk down lovely cobbled lanes from the main drag in the old town (bars, shops etc) and 5 mins from the palace / museum. 15 mins walk to port. Jurgen couldn’t have done more as host - absolutely brilliant - always available ‘on comms’, quick response, good suggestions / help when asked. The property and our room with hot tub was superb. Whole apartment suite was very clean and tidy and rooftop for breakfast or just relaxing was lovely! Breakfast from ‘mama’ with the most amazing home made pastries, was delicious. Honestly these guys were the best hosts.

Nothing really. As we looked around our little oasis, we didn’t see a better option! It really does feel like a million miles from the hubbub of town.

A wonderful updated property in a great location in the medieval town. it is a bit hidden which is nice and would be quiet during the busy summer times. The owner is beyond helpful and accommodating. Being gluten free can be difficult and Jurgen was so wonderful with breakfast and ensuring I could safely eat everything. The terrace was a beautiful spot to eat as well. The room is very large and comfortable with everything you could need.

What a gem this hotel is , tucked away down the quite cobbled streets of rhodes old Town...sadly we only stayed one night as we were catching a ferry to symi the next morning , from the moment Jurgen picked us up from the airport we were made to feel most welcome thanks Jurgen! The hotel it's self is beautiful , spotlessly clean,great detail has gone into the renovation of this wonderful building ...so quite even though it's only a stroll away for centre of rhodes oldtown...and omg the breakfast served on the rooftop terrace was something else! A wooden platter laden with freshly baked treats fresh fruits ect ...a great start to the day !...get it booked you won't be disappointed

Our host Jurgen was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous stay. He helped with restaurant recommendations and best sights to see. Breakfast each morning was delicious. When we arrived all of our contents of our luggage had been soaked with water from poor airline handling, Jurgen organised a clothes rack to be delivered to our room and when we returned from exploring all of our clothes had been perfectly hung up outside to dry. He also helped carry our bags through the cobblestone streets to the taxi he had organised for us to ensure we left ok.

We really enjoyed our stay at Midgard Suites. The property itself comprises of a few rooms, including a roof terrace, and we felt that we had everything that we needed. The room was very pretty with character and beautiful beams, very clean. It had everything that we needed; a lovely bathroom, AC (which is important, the island can get hot!), tea and coffee facilities, a mini fridge, lounging area with TV and access to various channels, including to music. The location is in the old town which is perfect, down a cobbled little lane, and close to all of the shops, restaurants, cafés and general Grecian island charm of the little lanes and alleys that you can explore. A highlight of our one week stay was that that the staff were so lovely and accommodating beyond measure. Thank you for all being so lovely and helpful! We would absolute recommend and stay again : )

Perfect location. Minutes walk to Hippocrates square , few more minutes to the beach. Very quiet and scenic medieval area. Breakfast was wonderful and gave us something different each day. The owner and his mother were so friendly , so accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The owner even picked us up from and took us back to the airport. The room was spotlessly clean and very nice and comfortable. Cannot fault anything.

The family team who run this are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they went over and above to assist us in having a great stay. The location is fantastic as it is quiet but so close to the Grand Palace and in the Old Town. The breakfast options were truly fabulous and it was lovely to sit on the roof top terrace to eat our breakfast. The toiletries provided were excellent quality and the furnishing and fittings very tasteful. It was very generous to find some wine and water provided in the fridge free of charge. Great place - highly recommended

Fantastic Host. Exceptional hospitality! Flat has a very nice flair and the yard with the Jacuzzi is just amazing. I would come again at any time. The host and his family were always reachable if we had questions or needed something. From an arranged bottle of sparkling wine, to help with the luggage in the old town of Rhodos.

As this is an older building in the old town of Rhodos, you might hear people moving in the flat above you. However, this was not an issue for us.
