From the minute we walked through the door Sotiris made us feel so welcome and special! We relaxed within no time and the stress of everyday life faded away. Our kind and generous host was always on hand with a smile to share valuable local insights, knowledge and recommendations from everything to restaurants, beaches, sunset cruises, bus services, best spots for epic sunsets….the location is great with a sea view. Just a short walk uphill to the spectacular caldera, shops, restaurants, regular buses to Fira and onward connections. Every morning a different breakfast awaited us served by Sotiris and Daisy with the adorable kittens in the background - the pancakes, bacon and eggs and the omelettes were delicious! Coffee frappée was also a treat! We loved the pool, the gardens and the private terrace and jacuzzi - a perfect spot to chill. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and are very clean. If you are looking for a genuine family boutique experience with only five rooms, to relax and share fun times in a corner of paradise this is the place to come ! The sun may have set on our holiday, but the heart warming feelings for Sotiris, his lovely wife (special shout out for the banoffee pie!) and the kittens will remain long after our sun tans subside. Nothing we didn’t like…Just to leave!

This was by far the best experience we had. From the moment we have arrived, Sotiris was so warm and welcoming making us feel like home. The hospitality and the talks we had, made us understand the island better, what to do and where to go , giving us guidance. Felt like a visit to a family member rather than a basic stay. The room was excellent, having all the amenities you need. The garden was like a piece of heaven where you could relax, read a book or just enjoy the hot tub. Also you could relax at the pool, perfect for sunny days, and Sotiris always treated us with beer or gin on the house. Everything was cleaned daily (including the hot tub). We were so happy with the location (walking distance to Oia) and easy to travel anywhere on the island from there. We will comeback, as we promised Sotiris :), and me and Iulia send you our hugs and for sure we need to go to eat that octopus ^^ and enjoy a good time together. For us this was more than a vacation, and for that we thank you, and we cannot wait to see you again soon :). P.S. You are right :) Happy wife, happy life! haha ^^

The vacation was to short :)

We initially chose Apanomeria because of the quaint boutique style B&B. We wanted more of a personal touch as opposed to a big, busy hotel. We completely fell in love with this family run business and the surrounding area. The b&b is cosy and stunning with a beautiful surrounding garden and pool area. The family and staff are kind, friendly and generous. We were looked after from start to finish. I asked the host to arrange flowers for my partner’s birthday and this was sorted without any issue or fuss, we were given a variety of delicious breakfasts in the morning, always something creative and hearty and advice on stunning restaurants and beach locations. We can’t wait to visit again next year!

We had an amazing holiday, the property is in an ideal location just a few minutes walk outside of Oia. Which was perfect to relax. The bed was very comfy and large. Shower powerful and hot water 24/7. It was cleaned daily. The apartment had everything you needed and more including hairdryer, straighteners, iron, robes, towels, bottled water to drink and fantastic air conditioning so it was always cool. The grounds of the apartment are immaculate, beautiful gardens, lovely swimming pool, private hot tub, sun loungers. We like to be away from the hustle and bustle- so it was perfect. Oia itself was so beautiful and only a short walk away. The owner (now friend) Sotiris was such a welcoming, kind and genuine person. Nothing was too much trouble. His mum Aruler (not sure on spelling) was equally as lovely. We will definitely return and I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone.

My stay at the hotel in Oia, Santorini, was absolutely fantastic! I spent a week there with my family, and from start to finish, everything was perfect. The hotel was impeccably clean, and all the amenities met our expectations. It’s also very family-friendly, which was a huge plus for us traveling with children. But what truly sets this place apart is the host – I have never encountered such a kind and helpful person in all my years of traveling! His hospitality and attention to our comfort were top-notch. It was one of the best stays we've ever had. Only positives, highly recommend!

The host Sotiris was very kind and help us on our holidays planning! breakfast was fresh and delicious and the boutique complex is peaceful and warm.

Everything. Prime location 5/10 min to the main town of Oia for sunset, shops, Ice creams, Yogurts, and amazing restaurants. The Bus stop where everyone goes is nearby to explore the Santorini island. Sotiris is very helpful, funny, a caring man who wants you to enjoy and relax. A family run business, the boutique apartment home service from the heart, plenty of laughs, very helpful advice & information so that you don't get ripped off. The big breakfast and the small touches for the apartment like a bottle of white wine for welcome made this place special. Lovely breakfast every day which they provide to you, with plenty to eat and drink. Your very own private garden with a hot tub was very handy and luxurious. Helped on the slightly breezy evenings or if you simply want to chill out. Handy for anyone to stay. Lovely spacious room with a great big shower. The cat and kittens of the apartment around the garden & hot tube area walking around were very adorable. The pool and garden itself was clean, quiet and a feeling to relax before heading out to adventure or coming back from exploring. A quiet area that is right by a very quiet small road with lights heading into the town. An ideal base and the place to be if you want to be out of the hustle & bustle, but also close to the main town. Very convenient. I'd recommend coming here to stay here in Santorini. I would come back here again. Whether it's to explore the Island, or if you want to see Oia's prime location at its best day/night, or to spend some time to relax also.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt spoilt and pampered. Our room had its own jacuzzi in its private garden and after a hard day of doing nothing except lie around the pool it was so pleasant to relax in the jacuzzi with a bottle of fizz. The room was so spacious with wifi even faster than that we get in the UK. King size bed, fully equipped kitchenette (not that we used it), cave style bathroom: every eventuality had been considered when kitting out the room. A gorgeous breakfast was served on the terrace with far too much to finish: the fruit from the garden was so fresh. Lounging around the pool we we kept refreshed with more fresh fruit straight from the garden, bottled water and beer. There was nothing at all to nit-pic over, a 100% positive experience. If we visit Oia again then the Apanomeria will be top of our list as a place to stay.

LOCATION: excellent - it was a few minutes on foot from Oia center. The hotel is located down a hill so going to the city center might be challenging for some since you have to walk uphill. The uphill area is a good place to see the sunset ROOM: excellent - very spacious. I had a queen-sized bed & a very comfortable mattress with 4 pillows. Room is cleaned daily, jacuzzi is cleaned daily in the early morning & they change towels every 2 days. Wifi works great in every area of the room. Room had an electric burner, toaster oven & ref. The host provides water so you don't have to buy it. The room came with a complimentary wine & chocolates. There is a phone in the room to contact the host as needed. The aircon works well which is a welcome thing when you come in after a hot day GARDEN AREA: room had a walk-out garden area where the hot tub is which is cleaned daily (early morning). Nice place to hang out & drink the wine the host provided. POOL & BBQ AREA - pool is cleaned daily. they have a number of beach lounge chairs & umbrella. they have a beautiful garden (flowers, herbs & fruits) & I was told the gardener comes in 2x/week. we had fresh melons from their garden for breakfast. I was informed guests can use the bbq area BREAKFAST - very good. They set it up near the pool under a shade. they serve each table with eggs, bacon, pancakes, bread, coffee, tea, juice & pastries NOTE: beach umbrellas are cemented to the ground which is good since it can get breezy sometimes / they have stray cats in the area (which you can find in the island anyway) but they make sure they are kept away when guests have breakfast / you can keep your bags in their ofc after check out / hosts give you recommendations what to do & eat. they keep an eye on it since it's a family-run business. great personal touch.

This place is amazing. It is so hard to describe everything we found there. Wonderful location (easy to reach Oia’s center, all restaurants, best spots for sunsets, bus station), perfect rooms with everything you may need for comfortable stay, nice breakfast made with so much love, and, the most important – wonderful hosts! We were amazed about how much efforts you put in making guests’ stay perfect. You may not be a luxury five-stars hotel, but considering how much of your heart and your soul you put, that turns your place into at least an eight-stars palace 😊 Thank you once again – our stay was amazing and we brought home a lot of good memories. If ever going back to Santorini, we definitely know where to stay!

Yeah, sure, there are some points for improvements. Flying elephants could bring you cocktails from the hot springs, or unicorns could sing lullabies before you sleep... 😊 Seriously, these are the only things you could miss there! If you’re looking for luxury hotels with many serving staff and luxury golden rooms – don’t go there. Please, leave this place for those, who will evaluate the aura of this place and the attention, love, attitude, and kindness of the hosts.
