From the moment we arrived we were in heaven. Our transport from the airport was lovely as we pre-arranged with Lia. Our villa was absolutely beautiful - we felt like we were transported into someplace magical. Lia and her team were wonderful, provided us with fantastic island information and her property is simple blissful. We loved everything from the poolside bar, the main pool, etc. Our villa was amazing, we had our own private pool and fully equipped villa which provided us the privacy we craved, but the option to visit the main pool if we wanted. I can't speak more highly about our time at Alegria Villas, we are excited to book again. Close walk to St. Nicholas beach (going early in the morning was amazing), soft sand, clear water, easy to get beds.

Absolute gem. Beautifully built houses, nice pool, a little bar next to the pool with swings and cosy decor. We booked the maisonette which was perfect for us with a toddler and baby. We had a ground floor maisonette which is right on the garden with tree houses, hammocks, swings etc. My toddler loved it. We requested two baby cots and they were in the bedrooms when we arrived. The maisonette had a child gate on the top of the chairs. Lia the host was lovely and so was her staff! Location is great, just 4-5 min walk to the beach on a flat paved road (which was great with a stroller). Several restaurants at same distance too.

The pool bar menu is very limited with pizzas and omelets, but when visiting Greece it would be nice to have some Greek dishes on the menu. We would have ordered much more frequently. The kitchen did not equip any spices, oil or pepper. That would have been nice to be able to cook something.

Lia was a lovely host - super helpful and answered any questions before and during the trip, and all her staff were helpful too. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in size and comfortability, lots of nice touches with the cold bottles water on arrival, dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, extra swim towels provided, ample toilet roll and shampoos, etc. (whenever you get a villa sometimes these things run-out very quickly or not provided but Lia and her team made sure you were fully stocked!) little quirky personal touches here and there, feeling very Greek and traditional in style without being tacky. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything you needed as well as an outdoor BBQ - although there are plenty of places to eat on your doorstep, even a little pool bar next door serving a variety of snacks and meals from breakfast and continuing throughout the day, so food was never a problem. We loved it because the beach was just a few minutes walk which meant if you got bored of your private pool you were not far away from sandy beaches but far enough away for it not to be noisy - the best of both worlds! We loved it there and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you Lia for your hospitality and beautiful homes - We would definitely stay again!!

We had an amazing holiday at Alegria Villas from start to finish. Lia was there to greet us and show us around. Once we had settled in she came back and told us about the area and gave us some great recommendations. The villa was amazing, just like the photos. So much thought has been put into the layout and decoration. It is a small complex but with everything you need. We had our own pool but there was also a bigger pool by the apartments with a pool bar which served lunch and ice creams. It is in a very quiet area but only a 5 minute walk to the beach, beach bars, water sports and tavernas. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay.

We visited in the last week of september with a group of 4 adults and a 1yo baby. It was the best possible accommodation for us, with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, terraces from each room, clean bathrooms, a huuuge garden full of quiet, green corners for the baby to play and an amazing pool. Most important for the baby, it was a walking distance from the beach. And also pretty quiet in the afternoon and during the night, so we we all slept “like babies”. The towels and the bed sheets were changed every other day and the floors swiped. The cleaning ladies were very respectful with our belongings and always put them back in their place after cleaning. We had an amazing barbeque in the garden and they have outdoor lunch areas for the guests. In the morning, if we were too lazy to make ourselves coffee, we would go to the villas bar and get really great cappuccinos. Everything was provided for and really up to the standards even outside of the season (we left on 2nd Oct) The host, Lia, was so helpful and nice with us. She gave us tips on beaches, tavernas and bars, drew us a map on the best places we should check. She even brought us traditional olive oil as a courtesy. We would most definitely return here! It is perfect for families or groups!

There were mosquitoes during the night, but the property had repellant devices and some nets around the beds and eventually we got the hang of it and it worked out just fine.

Our fabulous villa with private pool was a highlight and an oasis for our stay in Zakynthos. The colourful quirky decor was wonderful. Very comfortable beds. The set up works like this: Ground floor - a queen bedroom and a bathroom next to it - not en suite. Living/ dining/kitchen area and out to the pool and terrace. Downstairs, a huge living area and bedroom with a spa bath. Kitchenette, bathroom and a washing machine - no access to outdoor - BUT there is a door that leads out so possibly I just hadn't figured it out. This area is so big its like a separate apartment. Upstairs - a big attic style room with two twin beds pushed together to make a king bed - but you do see the division between the two - they are clearly two separate beds - not a problem for us. Note there is no bathroom upstairs, you use the bathroom on the ground floor, so essentially you are sharing the bathroom with the bedroom on the ground floor if that makes sense. Lia, the host, was incredibly helpful with restaurant and local advice which we really appreciated. Hope you find my review helpful.

Everything was so lovely. If I were to be very fussy, a few more side/ small plates would be good and a couple of crockery items were chipped. However, I know if I said something it would have been dealt with straight away. Take care going down the steep staircase to the bedroom downstairs - quite safe, but be careful.

Quiet, peaceful location, but only five minutes walk to choice of fabulous beaches, a shop, and restaurants. Our duplex apartment was very spacious, full of character, and comfortable. Well equiped kitchen Great pool area and gardens for relaxing and keeping our children entertained. Helpful welcoming host with great advice and tips on what to see and do, and where to eat Close to Gerakas, probably the best beach on the island?!

Nothing to dislike - wish I was still there!

Fabulous location, literally no more than 4 minutes walk away, and you are on a lovely sandy beach. Other beaches, tavernas, beach clubs and the village shop all within 7 or 8 minutes walk. Yet the villa's are clean, spacious, quiet and secluded, with plenty of shade whilst sitting outside. The host, Lia, could not be more helpful, and helped us book dinner, boat trips and so on. Very responsive.

I am struggling to think of anything we didn't like: other than the odd midge in the early evening!

It was a beautifully constructed maisonette, like staying in an old country house converted inside with every modern convenience. The friendly staff came every 2 days to give it a clean and empty the bins, but it was an easy place to move around in, each room having its own private terrace. We were a mixture of ages, with 2 energetic teenage boys, and it was heaven! coming back tired out from water sports and swimming on the beaches, you could relax by the pool, get a drink from lovely Melissa behind the bar, before going to one of the restaurants suggested by the Proprietor Lias. All the places she recommended were worthy of Michelin stars, but not too expensive, one right on the sea shore. The whole feel of the place was of staying with a lovely family, Lias, Melissa, Elias, and the 2 girls who cleaned. We hope to return.

Nothing! it was perfect, no noise at night, fellow guests with small children all friendly and pleasant. Any tiny niggle was instantly attended to.

Staff were fantastic especially Lia the owner and the lady at the small cafe.bar area - everyone was super helpful and welcoming. The gardens and pool were great and the maisonette with the ground floor patio was great for kids. The location was lovely with small shop and tavernas a short stroll away and no noise at night at all. Bedrooms were good size and beds comfortable with ac in each bedroom. Parking spots right outside with some shade and long tables in the garden and cafe area for having our family drinks and dinner under the trees.

The bathrooms were a bit small but Lia had made us aware of this and we were ok with them as we had the ground floor maisonette with the beautiful outdoor space.
