Friendly staff, nice place, delicious breakfast, facilities are clean and in a very good location

The beds are very uncomfortable and the mattress is extremely hard to sleep beside that nothing to complain

We enjoyed this place so much, that we stayed here for the second time at the end of our holidays. As mentioned before the Convento Santa Catalina is located right in the heart of Antigua in walking distance to all important sights and markets. The historic building itself is actually a highlight of the city itself - and so are the rooms, charming and full of history. The restaurant is delicious inside the patio. But the biggest plus of all is this helpful staff. A great team that helped us with every question we had, gave us brilliant tips and made our stay unforgettable. Thank you y hasta luego!

The location is very good and the breakfast are delicious 🤤 The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The mattresses are very uncomfortable 🙁 they are brick hard and my husband and I can’t use that kind of mattress. It’s sad because everything else was perfect. We both had a hard time sleeping 🙈

The location was great, it’s right in the middle of everything.

There was no air conditioner and we were hot. Also we seen a few bugs after that I was ready to go home I couldn’t sleep in peace and was afraid they would get in my suitcase.

The Location is wonderful! I love the live music on the weekends! I had a room with a mini kitchen and I liked that. It includes a refrigerator and hot plate and dishes. No coffee maker though!

The bed was hard as a rock. Old pillows and no way to make coffee in your room. No corn tortillas both times we aye there and the food was "ok" the bread they served instead of tortillas was hard, stale and gross. They really need to improve food and breads.

Most convenient location.

The wifi in the back where we stayed did not work for 2 days. We had phone reception so we didn’t necessarily have to have it, but it would have been better. I think they had it turned off. When more guests arrived in the back it started working.

Facilities are great, ambiente, quiet, kind people. Breakfast was good and variety. For sure location is great just at emblematic place of the city

Water bathroom shower is complicate to get the proper temperature.

Perfect location. Could not be more centrally located. Architecturally stunning building with lots of atmosphere. Lovely staff. Lovely garden. Good food. Safe.

I was given a room with no view at all (window way above eye level with frosted glass). Advise, pay a little more and make sure you ask for a room with a window that overlooks something. This hotel has them. My fault not to have thought to ask.

The location could not have been better. Parking was easy to access and only a few blocks away. $10 a night. Breakfast was great but not included. staff was very kind and helpful. rooms were comfortable.

The ONLY thing I feel the need to point out is that the main area of the hotel is a restaurant that’s open to the public. We walked out of our hotel room and there were literally entire families (non hotel guests) eating and talking early in the morning. These people are right outside of YOUR door. We tried another room our second night in the other part of the hotel which was significantly better as it was more private and isolated (I appreciate that, personally).
