I spent a week here and it was an amazing stay. Everything is amazing from the beautiful rooms on the lake, to the Howler monkeys and nature to the museum and the wonderful staff. I felt so safe and cared for as a solo traveler and highly recommend this hotel, I felt like they just wanted me to be happy and relax there. Oh and the Spa was wonderful as well, loved the steam and dry sauna and massage! Plus, the spa pool is amazing. I work during the week and this was the only place in the Flores area that would guarantee WIFI and it held up during my entire visit so that was great. The room was very spacious with an amazing view to see throughout my work day, just amazing. They have a wonderful turn down service, too, just seamless. I booked two excursions and it was all perfect. The staff (reception, dining, housekeeping, maintenance) are what really make it special! Thank you to all!

everything was great.

The hotel is very remote, private and quiet. We stayed in a suite overlooking the lagoon. There don’t seem to be other properties within at least a mile from the place. Our room was huge, well equipped and modern with comfortable beds. The staff were very attentive. We particularly enjoyed the large jacuzzi in the room and the beautiful infinity pool. We also recommend the (complementary) 1 hour boat ride to see the monkeys on islands in the lagoon.

It is difficult to reach from Flores because there is no Uber or equivalent in the area. Taxis and the hotel’s shuttle service cost 150Q at least (5 times the price of equivalent journeys in other places in Guatemala.). Since the roads are good around Flores, consider renting a car. The lobby and dining room were open to the (magnificent) view and therefore not air conditioned. It was ok but a bit hot.

Location was perfect ! more importantly, the staff was outstanding specifically Carlos at the front desk was phenomenal ! He went above & beyond to help me durning my stay. at checkout i wasn't able to find another lodging on my own . every location was booked in flores. he helped me durning a stressful time ! another great staff was Alex in the restaurant his kindness & attention to details helped me .

on my last night there. the wifi went out. this was terrible as i wasn't able to do anything on my phone & the phone in the room didn't work either due to the wifi being down

A perfect choice if you're visiting the Mayan ruins, closer to Tikal then the hotels in town. But only a short taxi ride into town for dinners at night. The onsite museum is very well done, pontoon boat tours free for guests to a nearby island so you can see howler monkeys up close and personal. And free kayaks to boat around the lake, big enough to completely explore and no other resorts on it at all. So very private. The rooms are spectacular & staff are so informative and helpful

The hotel nestled among trees over looking the lagoon. Our room was at the end and was so beautifully built. Everything including the floor was in wood and looks like a mahogany. Inside is a spacious room with double bed, an area to work if you want to, who does? But it haa an indoor jacuzzi overlooking a gorgeous view of the lagoon. All open with glass windows and doors. An absolute gem.

I wish they would improve the coffee machine with expresso or at least use real milk. It's a travesty to use powder milk..Those are poisonous.

The hotel is I in A very beautiful and magical place . It is more beautiful than the pictures. The peace and tranquility is just out of this world you will connect to your soul. We stayed three days and I could have stayed a whole week. The location is a 10 next to a lake with not much tourists around. The food is a 10 tasty and great variety . The cabins are perfect with stylish. Wood , views and jacuzzi. Elmer was amazing at the restaurant. He is competent , smart and very kind. My wife and I really like him . A big asset to this hotel. Overall and I have travelled the world I give this place a 6 star. Hope to be back again one day.

Mosquitos , some transportation issues .minor

Perfect location, close to nature yet comfortable. Clean, spacious rooms overlooking a little lake. You can go see monkeys, swim on the pool, kayak, bike on the property. Spent our days just relaxing, watching sunsets and looking at birds. Great staff and service on the restaurant, outstanding service by the waiters, they made us feel so welcome.

Maybe just the lobby staff, they where the only ones who where not as attentive as the waiters, they seemed bothered all the time.

Food is very, very good! Room is perfect. Quiet and peaceful environment, only natural sounds (birds, howler monkeys, ...). Great swimming pool. Great kayaking on the lake. Nice Maya museum on site.

Althoug the food is terrific, the overal decoration and atmosphere of the restaurant lacks Guatemalan authenticity, it reminded me a bit of a refectory.

Very confortable beds, hotel in the jungle, good service, the room is great, and the monkey tour is stunning.

Wifi is very poor (keeps on cutting from time to time). They made me pay 20 dollars for 5min taxi (the same price than to go to Flores which is 30min). The transfer was to bring me from the main road to the hotel. For a 5 stars hotel, I would expect this extremely short transfer to be free, that was very disappointing.

The staff are kind and attentive, and, the property is beautiful. Also, the shower and jacuzzi have hot water! We ate several meals in the restaurant and all were excellent. The boat ride to monkey island was very enjoyable. Margarita (spider monkey) came aboard and introduced herself.
