I had a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, very central with a metro station nearby and on a street lined with high-end brands. The design and ambiance are charming, the hotel is on the 3rd and 4th floor of a renovated building with art-deco features. The staff were helpful and welcoming, providing an informative introduction during check-in. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with a mini fridge, Nespresso machine, and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. The bed was large and comfortable.

The shower area could use some improvement, particularly the rusty showerhead. On the first day, I had to wait about 10 minutes for the water to warm up, which was a bit inconvenient. However, once it did, temperature was consistent and no issues on the following days. Some variety in the breakfast buffet would be appreciated, as it becomes repetitive after a few days.

Highly recommend staying at Callas House in Budapest - we were given a free room upgrade to a suite on arrival, with a rooftop terrace offering stunning views over neighbouring Budapest Opera House. The decor in the rooms is exceptional and staff were very helpful during our stay - helped with safe, booked taxi to airport for us. The complimentary breakfast was ideal, and also enjoyed the fresh cakes and goulash soup. The location couldn't be better 10 or so mins walk to St Stephen's Basilica, Szimpla Kert, Karavan street food, next to Budapest Opera House & within reasonable distance to Parliament Buildings, Danube, Szechenyi thermal baths & Heroes Square. The bed was comfortable, but a little too firm for our taste. Pillows were fairly flat and would benefit of being upgraded to match the luxury accommodation.

The hotel is centrally located next to Opera House and in front of W super renovated hotel. With no streets names in English, it was easy to find. Rooms are nice, nice bathrooms, tea/ coffee in room, refrigerator. Big elevator . Reception was on 3 rd foot, not easy to find. We also got a bottle of champagne in room from hotel for New Year

Theas use metal key with big leather pocket for the room and electronic key to enter hotel and your floor - so you end up carrying that. Nice restaurant for breakfasts but opens at 7:30 and you need to leave hotel and go around the building to enter it - in freezing weather not nice. The entrance near hotel to restaurant was closed to hotel guests

We loved the central location. Excellent for getting to the attractions and the hop on hop off bus stops directly opposite. It is right next to the Opera. Rooms were decorated really nice and spacious and had a little balcony. Lots of nice touches. Such as Nespresso coffee baker, snacks, water, toiletries. Would recommend a stay here. Staff were lovely.

It wasn’t until we arrived that we found out they were rooms in a big building on floors 3 to 4 floor. Breakfast is served in the Callas House restaurant which you had to enter outside the building on the side. Yes there was a Buffett breakfast but basic compared to other places we have stayed. There was no bar to have a drink in the evening you would need to go elsewhere or in the separate Callas House restaurant.

Great location. Good breakfast. Nice and big rooms. We had a wonderful terrace in our suite. Clean and calm.

On my daughter’s Bday (31/10), there was the woman at the reception that wasn’t nice. I asked if we can have Prosecco to celebrate the Bday as we did a day before for me, and she gave me that look. I can pay for Prosecco obviously but the day before the other 2 people from the reception brought it with glasses and smiling. I found her attitude for this bottle was below the hotel nice atmosphere.

Location is very convenient, right next to the metro station. Breakfast was above my expectation, basic products but served nicely, I don`t see this recently often in other hotels. The bed in the room was very comfortable and the bathroom clean. In the room there was a small fridge and lots of coffees and teas we could use free of charge. The room in general very quiet even though it was on the main street side. The receptionist offered multiple times to help us with the luggage - a true gentleman and rare phenomenon these days!

Check-in took way too long. Ahead of us was one other couple and it took 15 minutes to check them in. To be clear, the receptionist was extremely nice and professional, I just think the whole process of explaining how things work in the hotel should be explained quicker. Furthermore, there was an apprentice present at the same time. She was quite scary to be honest - no smile, no "hello" or "good bye", she just stood there and stared at something like a monument. Another thing, please fix the door to the breakfast restaurant - they don`t fully close and there is a draft with cold air getting in the restaurant.

The room was excellent sized, with a very big bed and bathroom. Our room had skylights which made the stay even better. The location was excellent, very close to everything. The staff was very courteous and polite, giving us a lot of information and tips for our stay in Budapest!

The breakfast was a bit lacking, and our room could have been cleaner, as there were several spider cobwebs in all areas of the room, including the bathroom. The balcony was practically unusable due to its small size, so it felt that it was just an excuse to be charged more for the room.

The building is quite old and historic. The entrance is a little hard to find, and reception is up on the 3rd floor. The suite we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. It even had a couple of private roof top terraces, which would be amazing in warmer weather. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

Weirdly, however, the bathroom only had a tub with a hand shower and NO shower curtain. That made taking a shower very difficult to avoid flooding the room. I suppose one is supposed to sit in the tub and carefully hose off, but that is definitely not my style.

Interesting set up, very quirky. Nice room with a rooftop terrace and hospitable reception and domestic staff. The location is perfect… right outside the opera building, a short walk to the main tourist attractions, lots of lovely restaurants on your door step and a quiet and safe location.

You would blink and miss the entrance so perhaps a street sign would be more helpful to locate. The reception is on 3rd floor and there is no pre-warn notice from hotel or even a sign at the entrance or in the lift to let you know where to go. I only found this out by checking the reviews and some kind person had noted it. The breakfast is served in a cafe right by the main entrance but the cafe waiting staff came across passive aggressive and rude that I didn’t feel very comfortable going for breakfast. I watched them behave like that with all guests so tried to not take it personally.

The studio room was tastefully decorated and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was great and we especially enjoyed the impressive interior of the cafe area. The hotel is conveniently located on the top two floors of a building next to the spectacular Opera House.

After staying in a larger room for the first two nights, the studio room was a disappointment and offered less value for money than the larger room. The ceiling on one side of the bed was dangerously low. There were two coffee machines in the breakfast room, but neither made good coffee. The hotel has a small reception room, but no common lobby area.
