We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Sarovar Portico Kalupur Ahmedabad! From the moment we checked in, everything was smooth and seamless. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were top-notch, and both the room service and housekeeping were impeccable. The affordability of the deluxe room was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the high-quality amenities and service provided. The hotel's location near Ahmedabad railway station made it extremely convenient for us, and we appreciated its family-friendly and couple-friendly atmosphere. Booking through booking.com is confusing. I go for booking deluxe room for 2 persons. But while filling up personal data, only only I can submit my particulars. There is no other option for submitting particulars of 2nd person. Finally the after payment, voucher showing booking only against 1 guest. For that hotelier wanted to charge extra Rs.1000/ per night. This is ridiculous. Though ultimately matter settled when I show them one msg of me detailing everything.

It is the location of the hotel that stuns you - right near the railway station It is the quietness of the room that shocks you - despite the hullabaloo outside, not a squeak is heard inside It is the wonderful food choice that surprises you - amazing spread, and supportive table service.

Location is very close to station which is in old ahmedabad. The approach roads are congested crowded and not very clean always. Good for business travellers arriving by trains as it's close by.

Lovely and helpful staff. We came last minute and the receptionist was a breadth of fresh air. Such a lovely lady! Room and bed were extremely comfortable. Loved the tea place two doors down and the bakery next door. Very easy to get a rickshaw. I would definitely come and stay again.

Bathroom could be updated but it's very useable anyway!

The room was comfortable and big and also clean. The location is exceptional and the breakfast was also super tasty. The staff allowed us to check-in as early as 9 am without any problem and that was the icing on the cake. Thank you sarovar portico for this kind gesture.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. A pretty room and really clean.I was really pleased with the service provided because the staff were really friendly and helpful.Especially Saiyad thanks so much🙏 It was a very short time, but I was able to spend a very enjoyable time.

The hot water isn't working.

My first stay at Sarovar Portico and it was extremely comfortable. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Bathroom had a huge tub. It’s located very close to the railway station and in close proximity to a lot of markets. Staff was very helpful. I will definitely recommend a stay here.

There was no hot water in the shower. And wifi was weak.

The last day , we have ordered for a tahli veg n after eating, my wife get a food poisoning ..I didn't know what happened..and we have to take another flight 2 hours later..

The room and bathroom are classic and old style as expected from Sarovar portico chain which I liked the most. I thank and appreciate the hotel for allowing early check in without any extra charge.

The wifi had some issues and I couldnt use that during my two day stay.
