Great location. Excellent service. The entire hotel staff was quite polite and courteous, at the same time extremely cooperative as well. Thanks to the manager on duty who allowed us early check-in. Breakfast spread was awesome with lots of options to choose from. Room size was quite good. View from my 6th floor room was breathtaking. Never did I see the scale of greenery across the globe that the garden city of Chandigarh is endowed with. Cleanliness of the room and washroom was worth praising. Won't finish my review without mention of Abhas Bhandari who always showed his concern for our comfortable stay at the hotel.

TAJ is the best place to stay when in Chandigardh! Nice and spacious room, good bed, bathroom and amenities. Breakfast buffet is excellent, with delicious Indian and European options made à la minute (delicious Amritsari kulcsa and masala dosa) . Dinner buffet is also yummie and recommended! Staff in the restaurant is top, thank you Rishi. We loved the pool too. All the staff is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. We got travel advice, thank you Mayank, and got help to book train tickets, thank you Navneed from the reception. Over all fantastic stay. We planned to stay 1 night and stayed for 4.

Loved the taste and variety offered at breakfast buffet from Cafe 17. Staff including sous chefs were very courteous and informed us about options within our dietary restrictions. Rooms were spacious. Good touch of forest essentials products inside the shower area. Every staff throughout the Café, room service, In room dining, front desk were humble, smiling and capable.

The shower area could be designed little better. The door did not slide but opened wide and sideways and knobs need to be upgraded. Basically, they could use a modern touch and be more intuitive. Spa desk attendant was bit rude in handling the appointment conversations (forgot his name).

Family stay at Taj Chandigarh, hospitality and warmth right from the vallet service to check out was commendable. Special request raised before visiting the property was handled nicely by the staff. We would like to appreciate the job done by Mr. Rishi, Mr. Sahil and the Chef Mr. Rannvijay. Room was spacious and nicely cleaned, 10 on 10. Health and hygiene protocols were being followed at all places. Special mention to Mr. Harpreet and Mr. Sumeet Taneja, who took some time out of their schedule and made the departure a memorable one for our daughter. We had an amazing experience throughout the stay, with issues/problems faced none.

The staff and hospitality is excellent. I especially liked the Black Lotus restaurant which serves exceptional Japanese cuisine.. Layo was very nice and helpful in guiding us. The chef entertained us well. I also like to thank Harjot and Abbas at reception who upgraded my room to club room which i was struggling to find online. The hotel is located right next to Secto17 market which gives ease to shop and spend time in the evening.Value for money hotel!

The electrical socket should be upgraded so that phone chargers can fit in there.

Taj Chandigarh in Sector-17 is one of the best option to stay in the city, especially in terms of comfort and food. Surprisingly, the prices are also very reasonable as compared to adjacent Hyatt. One would find the service at Taj Chandigarh to be the best as with any of the Taj Hotels, be at the front-desk or room service. The breakfast buffet is also well-spread with delicious options and the Executive Chef attending personally to most of the guests in the Hall. Rooms: 5

The Tajness was as expected, the staff from front desk Minaksi and sargam were very helpful and always welcomed us with our little queries with a smile, the housekeeping staff Harish was always available to help us with our baggage, the staff at Cafe 17, welcomed us for all our meals and not forgetting the pool attendant for assisting us.

The salad at section at Cafe 17 during dinners was not very Taj, could be better.

I like Taj for the quality of stay and one can always depend on their exceptional service and that was what we got here at the Taj, Chandigarh too. Staff like Aman in the coffee shop are what makes your stay memorable. Their persuasion to have you experience their special dishes, remembering your personal choices even though we weren't long term guests is a differentiator that made our stay enjoyable.

While Taj consistently delivers, there are couple areas they can do better - The rooms at Taj, Chandigarh may need a touch of refurbishing - while spacious, roomy and comfortable, the woodwork in the rooms can do with a touch of polish to eliminate palm prints on the cupboards etc. While this hardly impacted the quality or hygiene of the stay (am sure the palm prints have been wiped down but consistent use just shows), a touch of polish will help. And for the love of god, why is the health faucet on the left side in most hotels now? And for whomever designed the resting place for the hair dryer has never used one...most uncomfortably placed that allows you no room or cord to use it.

Centrally located , good infrastructure , good cafe staff , flexible to meet any food request, available buffet spread was mostly good

It was not exceptional which is expected from TAJ .Because of smaller room size and dinner and breakfast buffet ,,it is overpriced by atleast 25 percent .Nothing too outstanding or memorable ,more of a 4 star hotel experience rathe than a renowned 5 star hotel chain . Can improve on facilities ,kids entertainment area and better buffets spread .

Been going there pretty regularly past 10 month due to work, it’s become like a comforting second home for me The personalised service at breakfast, the attention during a swim or gym use, the quick revert on room service facilities.

Once or twice I haven’t been impressed with the mattress and the pillows, didn’t feel it during the night but woke up with a sore back and neck
