The location. Close to the metro station, shopping mall, and Japanese restaurant adjacent to this hotel. Facilities. Not only having enough facilities but also their detailed maintanance. I have stayed many hotels in Chennai from 1 star to 5 star hotels. According to the number of facilities usually the criteria of hotel stars are categorised but maintanance for cleaness, staff at the gym, swiming pool, spa etc are really telling how hard they manage hotel and cleary be seen through all reviews.

Check out time was indicated 12pm. so I used the room till the time. At 11:30am they called up. As I busy getting packing, I could not answer the call. Then they actually came to my room nocking on the door and asking what time I intend to check out. I know it is hard to make guests "hurry" to check out but I felt uncomfortable being hurried up and being made sure I check out on time.

Slightly dated property, undergoing renovations. Comfortable rooms and excellent restaurants. Staff is courteous, if slightly inefficient, which I will attribute to lack of training. Centrally located with a mall next door that has a food court, so meals are never a problem.

Property is slightly dated and undergoing renovations. This means some construction noise in the day time, which should not bother most business travelers who would be out all day. For someone who likes to work from the hotel room, this could be a source of irritation and distraction. Once fully renovated, this would be an excellent option in the center of the city, easily accessible to most tourist attractions, business districts and transportation centers.

Breakfast was Decent, however the quality of the spread was not great and the set up was not professionally managed. Half the eatable items were empty and was not replaced. The Staff are very helpful and courteous. I had requested their assistance which was duly supported by the team. Very Busy Hotel with lots of functions and meetings, hence the sense that it always full.

The Rooms Allocated was far end and there was construction going on in the nearby rooms with lots of drilling noises. IN spite of putting a sign for Housekeeping to clean the room, it was not done until late evening, when i had to personally inform the Housekeeping staff to do so. Their Job was pretty professional. May be less staff in the Housekeeping department. The TV remote always goes in a different mode. Everytime to use the TV you have change the HDI channel and find the channels necessary.

The location of the hotel right beside a large mall makes it very appealing. Also, the amenities in the room, the bed and the pillows are perfect and makes the stay very pleasant. There are free (and also delicious) snacks and fruits for the guests too. Ms Shanti, from the housekeeping section is our favourite person in the hotel. She would come by everyday and ensure that our room is cleaned and stocked perfectly, all with a big smile and friendly chat.

I think that there is a general lack of warmth from the hotel personnel. Unlike in other similar ranked hotels, the staff appear cold, and do not even make an attempt to smile and greet the patrons. This could be easily changed. Also, the breakfast spread is pretty limited. We ate briyani for lunch in the same restaurant one of the days and it was uninspiring. There was a time that I thought they had the best buffet breakfast spread in Chennai. Their food quality was way better too.

The location is marvellous. We had business with the SIMS hospital and the hotel is right behind it. Plus the Vijaya forum mall is also just outside it. Hence wonderful location. The food service, along with the choices available have been significantly improved compared to the last time I visited in 2022. In short, very satisfied this time.

Soemtimes the housekeeping forgot to replace the coffee mugs and also provide water bottle refills. However, these were adressed quickly when pointed out.

Again the stay was great and awesome staffs. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. The Green Park chennai is a hotel that delivers a high standard hotel accommodation and facilities. The staffs are simply amazing specially Gowtham K at front office helped to visit local food and shown us the hotel our key card was not working on the second day he came up with the new key at the lobby lounge area and he remembered our room number as well. And specifically the swimming pool was just a awestruck 😅 and the Mall view from club Room was a bliss. Highly recommended if you are traveling alone or with family.

We checked into Green Park after a long haul international flight. The amenities in the room were excellent. The room's cleanliness was very good. The overall service of all the staff was really prompt and exceptional. We loved the breakfast and special mention to the Head Chef who personally came out to check if everything was good . Much appreciated gesture.

There was a slight delay in allocating the correct room as I had a king-size bed booked however they said they only had twin bed rooms available.. However, they managed to find me a room which pertains to my booking and made my stay comfortable.

Staff services have improved 10 fold since my last visit (+ complaints)

Kitchen/ catering staff are slack. Needed to wait for 15mins to place an order for 2 cups of horlicks. Needed to wait another 30mins and had to walk upto the kitchen to complain. Then the drink was provided after a further 5 minutes delay. I couldn't enjoy the drink as I had to rush to the airport. Food is cold, despite the warm weather. Even reheating request is not serviced.

Breakfast - very less variety and same breakfast every day; food appears warm but gets cold by the time it's brought to the table. (Three star standard breakfast); (Good quality of food - maintains gut health). Bathroom - Three star standard utility bathroom. Room accessories - incomplete (e.g. family of 3: only 1 coffee mug was available, excess number of tea-coffee-creamer sachets, not enough artificial sweeteners; room details booklet not available; nearly empty shower gel and shampoo) - this was compensated through excellent service by staff who were just 1 phone call away for topping up on accessories.
