We travelled from London to India and Dubai. I have previously always stayed at the Taj Hotels in India and we came to this property having stayed at the Taj Exotica Dubai and Atlantis Dubai. Grand Hyatt Exceeded all my expectations Sumit Kumar - general manager, great man - can see the support he provides his staff. He came and spoke to all guests, very rare to see this but great work to build personal relations and create that personal touch with travellers. RJ/ Vivek Pandey/ Nikhil (restaurant manager) - RJ great advice on what we should visit as we were in Dehradun for 6 nights and had our own driver, Vivek always curious and approached me if I needed any help & Nikhil does a great job leading his team. Chef Khadir/ Sanjay/ Sunil/ Ajay Rawat - all excellent, had some great chats over delicious food. Thank you so much for feeding us and creating customized dishes. Kamlesh - Worked in restaurant, wore glasses. Serviced me most nights, great man, very attenuative and has a bright future - I hope the hotel fast track his development. Julie, Ayush & Ashish (house Keeping) - Julie was very sweet and made our rooms feel very special and gave us the homely vibe. Small things like chocolates, cakes make such a big difference to our stay and she was supported by her team. Keep up the good work and thank you for looking after us. Satyam Sharma, Jamal & Alisha front desk - some great conversations, and genuinely both were nice people to talk to .... thank you for all you did for us and the genuine interest you had for our visit. Kalem Singh/ Bhupesh/ Manoj/ Nitesh - thank you all for your assistance as well - met you in various areas of the hotel - bars/ gym/ spa etc..... Tribuwan Kumar (security) - What a lovely man, I was visiting Neem Karoli Baba and came down at 3.30am to give my driver coffee.

Everything was extraordinary! First and most important - the hotel staff was the best we've ever met. All were wellcomming, helpful and willing to help in all we needed. The hotel is located a little far from Dehradon Center, but transportation is available in all hours, and the special location is in the middle of a green forest. All facilities were superb - dining ereas, swimming pool, bars. The room was very well equipped. All in all, we had a great vacation!

This property has a lot of things to like. Location is good. You are near Dehradun and its easy to reach mussorie as well under an hour. The views are spectacular and you see it on full potential during high tea. Special cheers to Mansi for making my father’s birthday special by celebrating it with all other attendees there. Enough activities are there for you to relax and rest well. In buffet the chefs visit you to ensure and assure of all your needs. Special shout out to Chef Sunil for the same

Very pleasant stay, excellent staff. Particular mention and thanks to : Anshika at the reception who went out of her way to make us comfortable. Sonia at the Range reception who would greet with a smile. Kalam Singh Negi the chef who was alway receptive with our dietary needs. He alonwith Sanjay and Sunil were always there to take care. Deepak Kumar was very attentive and helpful in the restaurant. Rakesh Joshi at the travel desk was excellent in his knowledge and guidance. The driver Rishi was patient and helpful in all the travels.

Loud music in all the restaurants. Customers need a quiet breakfast, lunch or dinner. We cannot converse at the table with loud music all around.

A great team. Really loved the hospitality. Thanks to Front office Manager Mr.Avinash Chandola for upgrading our room to suite room and Miss Anshika for decorating our room so nicely Beyul is a great roof top lounge with live music and great ambience.Mr Sandeep (restaurant manager) has arranged a beautiful private dinner table for us with fabulous decoration. The food was very good. He also gave us special discount on food and drinks. I would Highly recommend this place for a good stay

The hotel is beautifully located with attractive premises. The food layout was better than most five star hotels . The care and flexibility accorded by very courteous staff was distinctly perceptible. It is very clear hotels such as this leave no stone unturned to maintain their five star status. We will certainly return.

Exceptional in every respect. The staff are exceptional and willing to help and in fact the hotel goes out of its way to make sure the customer is truly satisfied. A special mention for Ms Savleen who took special care of my elderly parents - sincere thanks. Also, Khatim, Ashish, Vivek, Baltej and lots of others whose names I am missing. You are all awesome - thanks and please keep up the good work.

The location is perfect for a hideout in the lap of nature. The staff is very welcoming & respond promptly to any special request. While checking in , there was quite a rush as a large group for wedding also checked in at the same time. But the staff were very efficient & our check in process was done within no time. The property is quite new & the facilities are well up to the mark. The food menu is quite spread & one can indulge in variety of delicious items. The kids club is a big plus & our kids enjoyed to the fullest. The view from the infinity pool is very amazing but I wish the pool was a heated one as the temperature was very low

The swimming pool should be a heated one considering the ambient temperature is always on the lower side. The balcony of the rooms should be provided with some kind of roof for one to enjoy the serene environment even during rain

The food was exceptional, the spread and cocktail hours at the club were top notch. The staff especially Ms Anmol was very helpful and welcoming. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the forested hills in front.

We were given a balcony room on the first floor(We watched the proceedings of a wedding from our balcony and the rooftop bar, the moment was enjoyed, but a little loud) and the floor was indeed kept as separate as possible. So you may want to inquire about that.

Breakfast was Nice

The behavior of front desk staff was very bad, especially front desk manager Ashutosh was very rude and unprofessional. He refused to offer the room for the category which we booked. I have never seen such unprofessional and misbehaving staff at any hotel in my life.
