Great location and the breakfast was fantastic

There was a one and a half delay when checking in as the room wasn’t ready (after a long flight having to wait so long was exhausting) when we did finally get to our room it was not a twin room as requested. The room (runway room) that we had booked months ago was given away to a guest who had decided to last minute extend their stay. Our options were to move to a cheaper room or have a trundle bed brought in. We opted for the trundle bed - we were offered access to the members bar as a form of apology but this didn’t really interest us. The room did smell of smoke and the TV in the bathroom didn’t work. It was disappointing that our room was given away as other than this I am a big fan of the Taj Hotels.

Ambience, hospitality, food. My son likes the buffet service of Taj + the room this time we had was with runway view, which the kids really loved. Swimming pool was excellent. Overall pleasant staying experience.

Quite a few things - 1) Had to negotiate with the reception lady during check in to get me a two bed room as she was offering a single king bed for a family of 4 which I felt was a bit ridiculous. She then offered me a room on the smoking floor which I took as she assured me that if the room smells she would change it for me. 2) Not enough bath towels for 4 people. 3) Unable to send tabs to final check out bill. Had to pay for every thing extra on the spot. Did not understand the reason given to me by the staff of why they cannot add to my check out bill but was truly annoying.

Taj Santa Cruz Hotel Mumbai is a luxurious haven with impeccable service. The rooms are stunning, the dining options are exceptional, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Conveniently located near the airports, it's the perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended.

As a comment, I didn't like the fact that Taj Santa Cruz Hotel Mumbai promised me an escort from the airport but failed to deliver on that promise. It was disappointing to arrive and find no representative waiting to assist with my transfer to the hotel. This lack of follow-through on their part was a letdown and didn't meet my expectations for the level of service I anticipated from such a renowned establishment.

The breakfast was a delight and I looked forward to it every day. The staff was very courteous and answered questions very quickly. Room service was great and all dishes we ordered exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic if you want to move around the western suburbs without much hassle given the massive traffic flows everywhere in Mumbai. If you are on the airstrip view, you get a fantastic view of planes taking off. The rooms are of good size with very aesthetic interiors but some rooms could be smaller but still decent size. The lounge on the sixth floor is a great place to unwind in the evening with complementary snacks and cocktails if you happen to book that package.

The city view rooms overlook the construction of the Mumbai metro station, so it will be bit of an eyesore until it is complete.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Taj for a few nights and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing environment, with excellent facilities and a beautiful ambiance. Upon arrival, the front desk staff warmly greeted me and efficiently checked me in. Throughout my stay, the housekeeping team was diligent in ensuring that my room was spotless and well-maintained. The amenities offered were impressive, and I particularly enjoyed the well-equipped gym and the luxurious swimming pool area. One aspect that impressed me the most was the impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel, especially during these current times. The staff diligently followed all safety protocols and made sure that guests felt safe and cared for. However, I would like to mention my experience at the hotel's restaurant during breakfast. Despite the stellar food, the hospitality at Tiqri left much to be desired. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant until I left, there was a distinct lack of warmth and attentiveness. The staff seemed disinterested and not very welcoming, which created an atmosphere that was less than inviting.While the food quality was great, I didn't feel a sense of genuine hospitality from the restaurant staff. It felt as though they lacked proper training in delivering exceptional customer service. Improving their hospitality skills is a must for a brand of such stature!

Everything was perfect

The lounge service, I paid a full price for the Suite with breakfast included in lounge but I was denied breakfast by the system of Mr. Gautam who was too busy catering to a VVIP pandit in red kurta, giving this vvip guest a private tour of the lounge with the smallest possible spread and giving him a private room in the private lounge while I was made to wait 20 minutes, then after the system showed I’m allowed to enter I was not approached or interacted with and for 30 minutes I was made to wait for an omelette and cold coffee that never made to me so I went out for a 16rs vada pav. Please stick to Tiqri/Rivea/China Town for your culinary indulging but avoid the lounge access.

This was my sixth visit to Taj Santa Cruz. The overall experience was great. The breakfast period was very busy on most days but the staff handled everything very well and the level of service was very good. The staff cleaning our room also did an immaculate job.

We requested for a late check out as our flight was leaving in the evening. We were given an additional two hours which we were grateful for and requested that we then spend some additional time at the club lounge. However, I found it both amusing and annoying to be told that as we had checked out, we should not consume anything from the club lounge!

Loved the property - one of the best 5 star rooms have stayed in - very modern, comfortable and supremely spacious. Excellent soundproofing despite being literally on the airport runway. Courteous staff - as always expected in Taj properties!

1. There was a lot of noise from the above floor which disturbed our sleep 2. The breakfast at Rivea was not as compared to the one at Tiqri - lesser variety. We were asked to head towards Rivea as Tiqri was full. Multiple instances when some request / instruction was given to the staff at Rivea and they didn't do it right. Breakfast was a big let down!

It was a fabulous 1 day experience and we will definitely like to go there again. I was connected with Tuba from the guest relations thorough out my booking and stay and made our stay very memorable. It was my 10th wedding anniversary surprise for my wife and she arranged specific colour balloons in the room as per my request and that too complimentary. The other complimentary aspect was that they steam ironed my wife's wedding gown on my request. Tuba also arranged an earlier checkin for us at 12 instead of 2 pm. I had selected the runway room and it was such an amazing sight to see the planes flying off at regular intervals during the day time. At night time you can't expect to see though. The room was just fabulous and top notch. The breakfast and 1 meal was part of the offer going through booking.com and the staff also mentioned that it is a good offer to go with. We were supposed to have the dinner as part of our package however thabks to the staff that they suggested to go with the brunch which had so many options and absolutely delicious food , so, for dinner we went with Ala carte. Breakfast again was top notch and we relished all the food. It was a gastronomical delight. Pool was also very good and it was a consistent 3.5 feet which was very good to have as we had 2 children with us. Overall we really had a fabulous time and it was worth it. Thank you to Taj, Tuba and the entire staff who really work so tirelessly to keep all the customers extremely happy.

The property is very well built, love the way it has the old school charm yet with all the modern aesthetics. The guest relations team was very kind and helpful, especially Tuba the guest relations manager. The runway view room is amazing !! I would recommend to pay that little bit extra to get the runway view suite, it is a very different experience.

Considering it is the Taj group property, usually you come with a certain expectation from the staff and guest services, I was pretty disappointed. The guest services always took too long to answer the phone, I also thought they were a bit rude. In fact when the property staff called to review the property I told them I had some concerns and to call me back before I actually review the property and I didn’t even get a call back. At the breakfast the staff was too much of a hurry to pick up the plates, literally while I was still eating. I would like to believe that this would have been a one off case since it was holiday season and may be the staff was too overworked due to max capacity at the hotel.
