A nice place to stay for sure, easily accessible with stunning views from the room. I had booked the bottom floor room with garden in front first but changed to balcony rooms on reaching the hotel, it is worth it for sure. There is an unobstructed view of the valley and the mountain from the balcony. The hotel is decent with all the facilities. The browning point in favor of the hotel is the dining area which offers good views too. Staff help is prompt. Many restaurants within 2 km range where you can go easily.

The hotel can improve on a few things: 1. The blankets in the case of winter can be more clean, I didn't have to use them when I was there but when I opened them, they had many stains. 2. There should be some thin pillows. 3. Basic item such as paper tissues should be there(it will take you from 3 star to 4 star property) 4. Provide a kettle in the rooms, although one can get warm water through room service but unnecessary hassle. 5. Tea bags should be there in the room, one has to order tea. Only complimentary tea is between 6:30 am and 7:30 am. 6. Hair dryer is a must in the bathroom as Munnar gets a lot of rain and at times one needs to dry hair.

Great views . Awesome dinner and breakfast buffet every day. Every staff be it at the restaurant or front desk are very courteous polite and have a smile. Mr. SENTHIL at the front desk needs a special mention as he was helpful with arranging a taxi for us for local sight seeing And all his suggestions were valuable. A great place to stay when in Munnar.

The only disadvantage the hotel has is that there are no elevators/lifts so it could be a problem for the elderly with weak knees

We had a room with balcony and the view was Great. The garden at the resort is amazinging good and well maintained. It also has nice parking places. There is a view point from within the hotel premises. The Pothamedu view point is also just 250 m walking which makes it a great location.

Given the tariff of the resort the recreation facilities / amenities were not that great. VERY IMPORTANTLY , they couldn't give electric kettle in the room which is almost an essential item to have in each room esp. given the climate of Munnar in December l.

The spa attached to the hotel was phenomenal and the young lady that provided our massages was superb and a credit to herself and the hotel. The restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly. Our rooms had a superb view and were very spacious with all amenities we needed apart from a kettle and tea/coffee. The veg club sandwich was delicious.

Location was perfect , just a little outside the town. Best of both worlds as one can quickly visit the town or have some peace at the resort.

The buffet breakfast could have been a little more elaborate. We stayed for 3 days and the dishes were largely the same. The room also can be mordernised to match the standards of more modern resorts

I liked the hospitality. The staff were extremely good and courteous. The location was beautiful with view of mountains and a waterfall but a bit far from the Munnar town which is manageable. Breakfast is delicious.

Food menu had lesser options especially for vegetarians the items were limited. If you don't have a private vehicle, it is difficult to commute to the town.

property is well maintained, neat and very serene. it’s not far away from all the view points but at the same time tucked away near to Pothamedu view point. quiet and calm is what you’d get here. the food served was tasty,fresh and right quantity. room service is quick. car parking was ample. a tiny view point in the hotel property itself. they have balcony rooms, upper rooms without balcony and the most lowest rooms in kind of a verandah style near to the lawn/campfire area. have a tabletennis/carrom board area indoor for kids. an ayurveda centre on board. everything was great. I would appreciate if the hotel could add on a kettle in the room with tea/coffee amenities, will make it perfect

Room was very clean view was exceptional both from our room and the restaurant. Lovely surrounds. We really enjoyed the food when ordering from the menu. Took advantage of the wellness spa and had an Ayurveda treatment which was fabulous.

Bed mattress was a bit hard.

The stay was exemplary and comfortable. The location was apt for us take a break from the mundane life and relax. As we had planned to visit other tourist attractions in Munnar, staying at Abad served as a launch pad from where we shuttled to and fro. Food served, including the complimentary breakfast, was delicious. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. To top it all, we were treated with picturesque view from different corners of the resort. Overall, it was value for money.

The power went off a few times during our stay. Also, they informed us that as a precautionary against COVID they had to remove the mini bar.

The location was superb and the View from the Hotel is awesome . The staff was very pleasing and provided very good service. Bath rooms was neat and clean Dinner food was very good and Breakfast which was included within the room fare was superb.

I had very short stay. I didn't find anything negative.
