Location was very good...Close to everything. The manger was very helpful and food in the restaurant very good with a lovely rooftop terrace. Recommend overall due to staff, cleanliness and location

Internet coverage was average. They provided a booster but ensure you can get one. Night time was very noisy with the street dogs.. Barking and fighting. THIS is not the hotels issue but one across the town. The hotel manager moved our room due to this which was a great relief.

Jaiwana Haveli is situated just behind Udaipur's City Palace and the location is for sure one of the best in town. The rooftop view is splendid and enjoying a sunset from there is a must. The restaurant is veg only.

We weren't in the main building, the one with rooms that present lake views, in the second building wifi is provided from a private rooter, that often has some connections issues. Staff was very helpful, however no-one let us know that part of the City Palace and the lake boat trips were closed due to the Indian G20... Overall, it was still a very good service.

We booked three rooms in the hotel. Rooms were very comfortable, and we manage to get one room with the lake view. The hotel location is awesome, very close to all major tourist places. Great reception, the host gave us an earlier check-in of one of the rooms before the standard check-in time 12:00 as we were travelling with family and arrived in the city early morning. The hotel service was very prompt. Beautiful and refreshing view from the rooftop restaurant, good for early morning breakfast, especially Indian tea. Very happy with our stay at the property and enjoyed chatting with the friendly host, so highly recommending staying at this property and to experience the old city of Udaipur.

WiFi coverage inside some of the rooms was poor.

Received a friendly reception from hotel staff. Maps of the city and suggested itineraries were displayed in reception which was helpful, we also received a printed map. Location is very good for sightseeing with most city sites within walking distance or a short rickshaw ride. Note that the hotel isn’t accessible by cab due to the narrow streets, so visitors will have to take a short, inexpensive rickshaw ride from the taxi drop off area. The room had a good view of the Lake Pichola. The aesthetic of the whole hotel was very pretty with paintings on the wall. Lighting candles at night around the hotel was a nice touch. The top floor restaurant had very good views of Lake Pichola and the city. It was especially pretty at night. Food was tasty and good value for money.

We asked the hotel to arrange a city taxi transfer which we later found out was costly compared to city taxi transfer apps like MakeMyTrip.

excellent location right in front of the lake, great views from rooftop restaurant, clean rooms. staff was extremely helpful and friendly - highly recommend for a stay in Udaipur.

Hard to sleep due very much noise of dogs barking and howling very loudly every night. probably better if you have a room in the front house and not in the back house.

The staff were fabulous, really helpful, welcoming and friendly. The location was excellent, right in the middle of all the sights and shopping areas. Our room had a view right across the lake, it was outstanding. Room cleaned every day and fresh water supplied each day. Breakfast was included and was excellent, lots of options and lots of delicious food. Breakfast on the terrace came with spectacular views! Highly recommend staying here.

It would have been helpful if the restaurant attached to the Haveli also took credit card (can only pay in INR in cash) but a minor point really as there are lots of other restaurant options very close by.

Almost everything! The staff was so helpful and shared so many useful tips, like what things to visit, shops to go to, and even an astrologer! The view at the rooftop was amazing, you can see the lake and the main highlights of Udaipur. Heartfelt à la carte breakfast is served at that level so you can start your day on the right foot. The architecture of the building was also beautiful, a stunning staircase made of marble?, you could walk everywhere by foot and it was close to everything.

They could have better black out curtains and isolation from noise… The price of laundry was a bit high but within range compared to other places

Everything about this hotel was excellent. We are on a 21 day trip in the north of India and have stayed in a number of different places and so far Jaiwana Haveli has been streets ahead of anywhere else. (Some have been dreadful despite positive reviews on booking.com). We received a wonderful welcome from the manager. He explained everything very clearly and told us the best places to visit within the time frame we had available. It was very clean, extremely comfortable bed, nice towels, swift laundry turn around in a day etc. The restaurant served delicious food with views across the lake - we also enjoyed just chilling there with a beer. Our room was a standard room without a lake view but this could not have mattered less as it was easy to enjoy the view from the roof top and the room was quiet and comfortable with windows that opened and places to sit. We got a taxi from the airport and a tuktuk for the last stretch as it’s not possible for car access at certain times of the day. We can highly recommend staying here and if we ever came to Udaipur again, will definitely stay here.

We had a room with balcony set back from the main hotel building. Beautiful room with access to private rooftop. We especially booked this and although cost a bit extra was really worth it. Room was fantastic, clean, comfortable and private. Plenty of hot water. Nice view of the lake. TV with cable channels Excellent hotel, friendly staff and nice restaurant Highly recommended

No lift…. Breakfast served on 4th floor I would have given a 10 rating but I had an issue because I had modified my stay. Room price increased by RS 1,850 per night even though I had free modification and cancellation via Booking.com. The hotel blamed Booking.com. Booking,com blamed the hotel. My contract was with Booking.com but they completely failed to respond to my complaint………..

Location: The Haveli is very well located, overlooks the gorgeous lake and is well placed for visits to the City Palace and the Jagdish temple. Breakfast, on the outdoor terrace, was special, offering a splendid view. From inside too, the view of the picture perfect lake is exceptional. Breakfast, itself is very good, an excellent choice of both "English" and Indian foods available. The server at breakfast is a joy: he is effiecient, helpful and cheerful, making every effort to please the guests.

The shower area and adjoining toilet are not very conveninetly placed, but the shower works well. Little space to place anything in the bathroom. But these arer minor complaints
