The hotel is one of a kind. Very aesthetically planned with bright colours and stunning decor. The rooms are comfortable, the view from the room and the hotel itself is breathtaking. Traditionally a haveli, it gives you a real palatial experience. The flute player, Mr. Vardan Pandya, will make your mornings unforgettable! He's a master artist. Mr. Madan at the gate too is very warm and helpful while being professional. The food was delicious and the breakfast spread was good. We had a truly memorable stay and strongly recommend the hotel to everyone who plans to visit Udaipur!

Hotel Lake Pichola is a great experience overall. Full marks on location, food, staff behaviour, spacious room and bathroom, great rooftop arrangements in the evening.. Stayed 3 days and found it a very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend to all. A special mention to the flute artist who plays during morning hours, soul stirring 👍

- Taste of Sambhar in breakfast could be better🙂, didn't like the spice used. - More number and different variety of English and Hindi language books could be kept in the reception, current variety is very less mostly non English , probably gifted by guests.

Good choice of breakfast food. self service buffet but staff helpful as I walk with sticks and served me at the table. Wonderful view from balcony across lake especially at sunrise.

needed a redecorate, and bed linen/towels a little tired. Needs a bit more attention to details of cleanliness in bedroom. Public areas all well maintained. Only disadvantage was inability to access the hotel with the car but Tuk Tuk pickup was quick and efficient by calling the hotel. Staff all helpful and friendly _ I would stay again if I ever return.

Excellent view. Decent breakfast. And good restaurant for lunch and dinner. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely guard dog. Charming heritage feel.

A bit dusty. The room could do with a refurbishment. The WiFi wasn't always reliable. And there was building work going on on the top floor. Also I've seen better swimming pools.

The breakfast menu was a bit limited but the food was good. The location is unbeatable, being right on Lake Picchola. The decor was beautiful and replete with Pichwai paintings and a small fountain. The staff were very friendly, prompt and courteous.

Though the rooms were perfect for a couple, I wish there was better space for people travelling with larger suitcases. The shower areas in the bathrooms could be enclosed. We had to carefully shower to avoid spilling the water into the restroom side of the bathroom.

The hotel has had better, splendid, times. Even so it retains much of the old luxurious atmosphere in a somehow decadent way. Super servicial and efficient staff. The enchant of sitting just on the lake is a great bonus. Fantastic breakfast in a beautiful dining room overviewing the lake. Very romantic place to stay.

The rooms need some maintenance, if the beautiful old furniture was restored and kept, so as the rooms walls and floors it could be considered a true luxury property.

A lovely hotel with great service. The location could not have been better, in a less hectic part of town but only a short walk to the Royal Palace. We ate at the restaurant twice as the atmosphere, view and location at night were wonderful. The food was not memorable, but perfectly fine. Breakfast was ok. I don’t eat eggs, so a little limited, but I enjoyed sitting outside and the flute player was a lovely touch. The sunset boat trip was great. The room and bathroom were a good size. We arranged our arrival transfer through the hotel which they handled seamlessly and it was very reasonable.

I wish there was beverage services offered in the lobby area during the day. It would have been lovely to have had tea or a glass of wine before the restaurant opened. The room and bathroom could do with an update, but they were perfectly fine.

Breakfast was good. Could have been great if there were more assorted options. Location and whole ambience was excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful. Could possibly add more hanging storage to their space. Would definitely go back in future.

Could have been better with little more hanging storage space and reception should keep some basic needed items like vomit bags and meds if possible for urgent guest use especially with too many international travellers staying in the hotel.

The location of the hotel is its advantage. If you are looking for an old vintage vibe this is the place. The staff and owners are extremely friendly. When we booked they told us the lake view rooms were all booked out and we were a bit disappointed. However we are so glad we got the older wing which does not face the lake, there is more character in these rooms and the Lake view on the terrace and lobby area is always accessible. The Dinner on the terrace was great and i would highly recommend everyone to do the boat ride provided by the hotel.

Parts of the room need a bit more cleaning and need to be dust free. If you are travelling with older family or childrens please ask if your rooms need to be accessed by a few stairs and make a decsions

It's location heart of city Udaipur n majority tourist spots just walking distance as well rooms,breakfast n staff is very good polite n responds quickly,from hotel room it's spectacular view of lake pichola and otherside of beautiful view during night and eye catching view of sunshine,this hotel had roof top restaurant since from 1559 names Upre had tasty food we like very much n definitely recommend friends n relatives
