We had a very warm welcome at reception and all the the staff is super friendly and most polite. House keeping staff too were super helpful with extra cleaning we needed in the bathroom after our beach activities. Entire property looks stunning and perfect for instagram kings and queens.

We had a sea facing room and unfortunately there was a corporate event going on in the lawn area near the beach and the volume was pretty high which killed the serene ambiance. Even inside the room it was noisy and using the balcony was almost impossible. Next day morning there was no event and we could sit in the balcony listening to the sound of waves.

Great hospitality, placement and overall decorations are so great. I asked to get showed around, and it was great, because the place is so big, and it's nice to be showed around by someone who knows the place and where it's good to be during the day. And also to tell you what not to do. I lost my suncreme and the employees were so nice to drive out to the store and buy a new for me. Also they arranged a driver and a guide for me so I could see the temples near by and see the market. Great experienced driver and guide, top class.

So much to do and restaurants are open different times/day. Could be great if there were an overview on the room so it could be planned to visit all within the opening hours. Besides it could be nice to have option of guided tours to the sightseeing around the hotel.

Breakfast spread was excellent and tasty. Food in general was very good. Service and staff friendliness were excellent too.

Insufficient entertainment in the evenings. A couple of games in the evenings and live music in the mornings doesn't suffice, esp for a holiday week-end. Moreover the rooms weren't sound-proof - very noisy in the corridors as well as overlooking the main area with morning music and the back road side (poor view and noisy). With so much water area, having koi fish or more plants could enhance the aesthetics.

During my recent stay at the Sheraton Grand, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was top-notch and made sure that every aspect of my stay was flawless. I would particularly like to recognize the following staff who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable: Firstly, Mr. Gaurav and Mr. Rahul from The Reef restaurant were outstanding, their service was impeccable, and they made our dining experience very delightful. They always took the time to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They were also very attentive and welcoming. Secondly, Ms. Bidya from the reception was extremely helpful and accommodating. She assisted us with our room requirements and made sure we had a comfortable stay. She was always approachable and willing to help with any queries we had. Lastly, Ms. Santhoshi from the service team was exceptional. She always greeted us with a warm and friendly smile and was always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. She kept our room very clean and always made sure to check if everything was in order. The overall ambiance of the Sheraton Grand was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, while the facilities were outstanding. I would highly recommend the Sheraton Grand for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious stay in Chennai. Amazing hotel on a large site. Great breakfast. The Salt Restaurant is much nicer the the buffet in the Reef. The singer, Troy, is excellent. The location, outdoors, near the beach is great. The staff were very friendly.

There was a conference on during the day (Friday) which occupied the main lawn and played very loud music, so not a peaceful stay. The hotel is an hour and a half from Chennai. It filled up on Saturday

Good clean property there was a corporate event on Saturday we checked in , it was a loud event But the hotel had the courtsey to inform us in advance before checking in , albiet only 3 days prior about the event and the implications this was appreciated by us the service was very good in all aspects , property was very clean and beautiful , about 20-30 mins away from Mahabalipuram

Reef restaurant & service by the staff. All the staffs were kind, warm and welcoming. Mr. Sunil we specifically Thank you for taking care of my daughter during dining. She's a picky eater. My daughter loved the Mickey mouse pancakes 😍🥞. She almost finished it. Delicious foods , Thank you chefs. Enjoyed every bit. Rooms were clean, tidy. Well maintained.

We loved the stay ... But just one nail was(slightly) out on the floor of the suite Room. It almost hurt my daughter's feet. Also no battery in the weighing scale. But these are just minors.

Everything was good. The customer service, facilities, activities, breakfast and dinner menu and quality of food.

While the room was great, having experienced the setup of the room in a different hotel feel it would be great The jacuzzi, shower and rest room are all in one place. It would be nice to separate them and put in different places so multiple people in the room can use them

The courtesy of the staff was great . Special thanks to Mallika who was an exceptional host , she was extremely accommodating and took care of all our needs.

The pool was a let down. The pool is not covered, meaning it has no overhead roof . Being a terrace pool facing the east, there is no way you could have a swim from morning 7 am 4 pm without being sun burnt. The management could at least cover the pool with a canopy or a temporary roof

The hotel amenities are exceptional in both functional use and beauty. I could not have been more delightful and wonderful in any way. In addition to the luxury this hotel offers, the entire staff of the hotel are amazing. They are friendly, helpful, engaging and make you feel like the most important person in the world. They go above and beyond the height of service, they think of things you do not and in advance of you needing them. I was sorry to have to leave this exquisite hotel and staff and truly hope and will endeavor to return here again. Anyone looking for a resort stay in Chennai should ONLY look to this hotel. You cannot go wrong and will savor every moment of your visit.
