Staff in Restaurant were exceptional food lovely.

I sent a message via booking.com the day before checkin to say I would be slightly early. I received no reply! Upon checking in at 2.30pm I had to wait until 3pm to have my room, although other people checked in and got their rooms before me. On my last day I was happy to checkout early just so I could have an early checkin at the beginning. I have travelled from. Cochin to Chennai and this was the only place I wasn't allowed to checkin early, but this was the most expensive hotel along the way, which isn't good practice if you are happy to leave earlier on your last day.

The Four Points Sheraton Mahabalipuram provided an exceptional experience for our family stay. Santosh at the front desk made our check-in seamless and enjoyable, setting a positive tone for our visit. Celebrating our wedding anniversary during our stay, Santosh surprised us with a delightful cake and beautifully decorated room, enhancing our special occasion. Opting for the half-board package, we were thoroughly impressed with the dinner offerings. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the variety and quality of the spread were truly exceptional. Breakfast mirrored this high standard, offering a diverse selection that included delicious waffles and pancakes. This package is undoubtedly worthwhile. The hotel hosted wonderful activities, including a fantastic hi-tea and engaging group games for both kids and adults. Movie nights and providing bicycles for kids to explore the expansive 25-acre property added a special touch. Despite the absence of a beach, the pool area was pristine and enjoyable. The chalets were not only spacious but also impeccably maintained, ensuring a hygienic environment. Our family thoroughly enjoyed every moment at Four Points Sheraton Mahabalipuram and highly recommend it, especially for celebrating special occasions or creating cherished family memories. The overall experience, coupled with the attentive staff and impressive amenities, made our stay truly memorable.

No beach access.

Staff hospitality was extremely good. A guy named Chow was incharge of swimming pool and he trained my son to swim in ONE day ! I'm not kidding. Would have taken at least a month if i sent him to a training school :) pool was well kept and maintained. property is overall well maintained, well cut gardens, great bird footfall, decent food

Perhaps a tad too far from beach (~4 kms) - but autos are available right outside. Hotel could have also proactively explained places to see around and helped planned sight seeing journey better (their cab rates were excessive so I ended up googling to find a cheaper alternative)

Property was very spacious..great kids play area..swimming pool was clean and well maintained..lounge pool was very good for kids as well. Food was kid friendly and accommodated our customisations too..front desk staffs were very polite , friendly and made the stay as comfortable as policy..kudos to sufal, upama at the front desk for their hospitality.. dining staff Teresa, Shankarjyoti took care of us very well..the chef's were great and even packed food for our kid for the return journey..overall a great place for family especially with kids

We had a really nice stay at four points. Everything was super clean. Food was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. The pool area was also nice and very clean. Service was fast and attentive. Would definitely come again.

The staff in the restaurant can be a little pushy if you don’t want to try certain things. They brought food to our table we didn’t ask for and since we are foreigners they thought we had to try everything although we already knew that we wouldn’t like the taste of this specific dish.

Everything. One of the best and cordial staff I have ever experienced.each department staff was exceptionally professional. The food,ambience, environment were all excellent and not to mention the house keeping staff. A special thank you to Chow at the pool who kept an eye on our girls while they swam.Thank You so much.

Located in one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Chennai, the hotel gave a really good experience overall. The staff were polite and friendly, good quality and cleanliness of rooms, good spread for buffet for breakfast and dinner, diwali celebrations were lively and well organized, there were many facilities like swimming pool, table tennis and a huge lawn to play sports like cricket, badminton.

Everything was good, if the hotel had beach accessibility it would have been the best since ECR is well known for beaches.

A fantastic resort. Lovely restaurant, beautiful property. Has a good swimming pool and gym. Very close to Mahabs shore temple and beach. The room was just a little smaller than expected but still good! Food was amazing. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Valet parking was unavailable.

This is a very nice hotel in Mahabalipuram. It is away from the busy part of town. The staffs are very helpful. They offer with very good breakfast with variety of selection .

nothing. Although it is far from all attractions but it is not a problem. It is easy to get a toktok to get there.

the staff were exceptional and made our stay so memorable. they were attentive to our every need. after staying in 3 other 5 star hotels in Delhi and Chennai it was refreshing to be served with respect and care.

the bathroom could be renovated but in such a hot country things deteriorate quickly so it was fine.
