Wonderful place to stay with kids. It is right on the beach so we could swim out the front with turtles every morning. They have two lovely pools which our kids (2 and 4) loved. We also enjoyed the included breakfast buffet which had a wide range of food (although we mainly ate pancakes, muesli, yoghurt etc.) They have a movie playing out the front on the beach every night which is a great option for kids while you eat. We stayed in the renovated rooms which were great and they placed us right by one of the pools which was perfect. There are several restaurants around the resort with beach side dinning and amazing sunsets. It is away from any loud bars and clubs so it was very relaxing and not too busy. Air con in the room was amazing. There were large animal statues around the resort which are a bit random but our kids loved them and they also played on the playground every day.

The food is a little average for lunch and dinner. They have a lot of bikes available to rent but none with kids seats attached (they rung around a few other companies and couldn't find any) so the only way to get around was by horse which can get expensive. We just walked as far as we could though and did have fun just swimming and relaxing around our area. We sometimes had low water pressure in our shower or no hot water but they were always quick to fix it. Cleaning of the room could be more thorough - particularly the floors.

The staff were generally friendly but could maybe use a little more training. Checkout felt hard as we didnt expect a nice hotel to worry about if the right number of cups were in each room

Spacious rooms, great calmer/quieter location by the beach. Safe and relaxed atmosphere. Short walk to other bars and restaurants. Slightly longer but easy walk to main hub of the island. 2 pools available, great when the beach is a little rough. Some nights they have outdoors movies on the beachfront, or live music. A couple great daybeds, many beach bean bags, breakfast can be had at tables just meters from the beach or under the shelter of the restaurant. Pushbike hire available. My kids barely used the playground as we were often on the beach, in the pools, out walking or bike riding around the island.

Drains/plumbing in the bathroom had a couple issues but was dealt with once they found the problem. Housekeeping was difficult to get hold of sometimes for fresh towels or requesting rooms to be cleaned during the hours we'd be out - they seemed understaffed at the time as they were always hard at work.

The rooms were nicely decorated, it was clean, tidy and the beds were comfy. The staff were helpful and always remembers our names. The hotel is situated on Turtle Point so you can swim with turtles about 10mtrs from the beach front. The cabanas were comfy and could order food/drink to the beach. In the evening at 7pm they have a cinema on the beach, nice chilled night!

The hotel is far from the port (30 min walk) wouldn’t recommend walking with a suitcase. You have to walk down a dark alley way at night to get to the central main part. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t good and didn’t stay hot for long.

Location was fantastic - far enough away from the very busy part of Gilli T for a family with kids under 10yrs to enjoy. Snorkelling on the beach in front of the resort was great. Using the sun lounges and beanbags every day on the beach as well as breaky by the beach was excellent. Seeing turtles at high tide was spectacular! The staff are very nice, they are wonderful and work hard. Pools were nice to enjoy in the afternoons, swim up bar is fun, 24hr bicycle hire from hotel is convenient & well-priced. Buffet breaky was loved by the family - good that some items/foods changed each day. Rooms were spacious, beds were huge and pillows very comfortable. Free wifi was very useful to keep in contact with family. Movie nights were good entertainment especially if not drinking. When the trees and grass establish more for more shade it will be so beautiful. Taps to wash feet outside rooms and in bathroom was useful because very dusty. Slippers for inside the room helped reduce the dirt inside. Kids and adults enjoyed the table tennis and pool table. Refillable filtered water to reduce plastic is fantastic-every hotel should do this!

There was no top sheet on beds - this would help keep mosquitoes away when too hot for duvet/blanket. Seemed understaffed sometimes - staff were always extremely busy and unable to keep up with guest requests because of large number of rooms. Housekeeping was in afternoons when we were occupying our room maybe because not enough staff to complete all rooms in the morning. Some tiles in the pools are very sharp.

Gili Trawangan is fantastic- it combines the best of a tropical island paradise with an availability of bars and restaurants with some life. The Jambuluwuk is a modern hotel right on the northern tip of the island with a coral reef nearby and turtles just along the coast. The room was spacious and well equipped. The staff were attentive (there were probably three times the number necessary) and very courteous. When I had an issue with a blocked shower drain, 6 men arrived within 2 minutes to deal with it. We rarely used the pools , one of which is at least 50m long. The beach is clean and there were always plenty of sunbeds available. I moved here having been in the centre of the island where sleep is impossible due to the noise from the mosque. I have never given a rating of 10 before but this place deserves it

The access to the centre is a 30 minute walk or a 10 minute ride on a bike or horse and cart. Bargaining for the transport is a hassle- a hotel collection service would help. We had an afternoon/evening where our neighbours played awful music- had this affected our sleep I am sure that the staff would have dealt with it.

No regret at all, we really enjoyed our stay, and stayed for 3 days and two nights is so mamorable. Beach front with a short distance to Turtle point. Spacious garden and spacious rooms, clean with comfortable bed. Air-conditioning in the room works perfectly to give freshener after the whole day outside with hot and humidity weather. Friendly staff excellent service. The breakfast menu is quite varied and delicious. Food and drink prices are not too expensive. The only minor thing about this place is the shower pressure in the bathroom. The rest we really enjoyed our holiday and staying at this resort. Big recommended to any kind of traveler, family, groups or couples. We will be back again some day...

We loved the location, very close to all the action but not right in the middle of it. Also right by a good diving place. The hotel's lounge area on the beach and the lunch menu were exceptional. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. We asked for an upgrade and got it.

They're refurbing a part of the hotel that was burnt down in a fire last summer, but it didn't bother us too much. Sometimes the cleaning was done mid-afternoon when we would've liked to chill out in the made room already. No biggie, though, as plenty of chillout options outside the room or even better on the beach!

Room was very clean, bed was big and soft. Pool was olso great, good to swin. Was great that in the property was the Sharp water mashines, gold, warm and middle water to put bottle when you want. So great idea. Olso in the room( house) door was water, that was possible to clean the legs. In hotel was rent bikes and snorkling things. In breakfast was possible to order my things, thy didnt have this in menue, good chef :) Staff was very friendly.

Free safe sparkling water automata, cheap bicycle, clean rooms, new house. Movies at nights at beach. Not busy location, excellent for who want peace at this island. 100 % chance to swim with turtles in august! Lots of trees and place to relax.

The bufet breakfast is very expensive, but ala carte meals are not. Very new building and the garden was not ready only concrete no grass infront of our house. But it will be nice I am sure Not possible to walk to the hotel from the port on concrete road so you need horse taxi to get there with the luggages
