A tranquil and beautiful part of the island, Gili Eco Villas was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. From an easy walk to watch the sunrise, to breakfast on the beach watching turtles pop up ( the breakfast is wonderful and generous, lots to choose from and fresh.) The pool overlooking the ocean with comfortable daybeds, cool air-conditioned bungalows and super comfy beds and an easy walk straight into the water to snorkel - we highly recommend. The staff too, were engaging and helped with any detail with a smile and with joy. We felt very welcome there and interested in. No need to second guess, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Our week-long stay at Gili Eco Villas in Gili Trawangan was nothing short of magical. Set away from the party areas and back from the road you find peace and privacy. The staff are all lovely and the location is perfect - one of the best beach fronts, close to snorkelling/sunset spots and near yoga. Rent a bike and get around easily.

Not a swimming beach type of island, at least without water shoes, which you can buy there. The island itself I feel like didn’t offer much other than party vibes, which I expected in the south, but didn’t realise how full on it is just about everywhere. That said, we had a lovely time as a young family at gili eco villas. Without the facilities and staff, our time on Gili T wouldn’t have been the same.

I loved the location right on the beach for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also very close to snorkelling and sunsets every afternoon right out front of your hotel. The beach restaurant was divine, the food amazing, the infinity pool magical, and the staff extremely friendly. They always remembered my name, and I felt very safe as a female traveller. I will bring the family back to visit and only stay at Gilli Eco Villas. It is the best on the island, without a doubt!

room service could be an option, you could order and take it back to your room maybe a whats app number can be included to order drinks and food to your room?

Villas are nicely set up, the outside bathrooms, the lounge and chill areas, and the bedrooms are lovely. Staff friendly and helpful. It's so peaceful and a relaxing family environment. Breakfast is a lovely edition and worth the value, and we enjoyed having breakfast at our Villa, which allowed for family private dining.

Hotel guests should be given mossie spray and the restaurant should be better equipped to curb the irritation of flies during meal times. Providing bicycles as part of facilities would be a nice to have (although they do arrange them for hire). For rainy days, some board games, packs of cards, and / or chess sets would be a lovely edition for families.

The location of Gili Eco Villas is incredibly peaceful and serene, whilst only being a short 15-20 minute bike ride from the main strip of Gili T. Having access to a private section of beach was wonderful. Our villa came with an outdoor day bed with a fan conveniently placed above it which ensured we could nap leisurely in the heat of the day. The team at Gilj Eco Villas were very welcoming and ensured we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and the team were more than happy to make adjustments to the dishes to suit our vegetarian dietary needs.

The floor in our villa felt very fragile (bendy, creaky along with some minor trip hazards). There were also quite sizeable gaps in some floorboards and areas around the roof. The lighting in the room could have been better and the space could have been used better to ensure a more convenient area to get ready on an evening (the inclusion of a full length mirror and dressing table would have been handy). There was only one key for our room (we were told this was due to the spare key breaking), whilst this didn't inconvenience us too much, the team had to take our key to clean our room which meant on one occasion the room had to be cleaned whilst we were outside on the day bed. If a spare key could be cut sooner rather than later that would be more preferable to future guests.

Villa for two people, spacious, clean, with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, air conditioning which is much appreciated and a well-stocked fridge with soft drinks and beers. The open-air bathroom (very clean) was an experience! The villa has a terrace with a lounger and hammock to hang out. The complex has 2 swimming pools, a restaurant right next to the beach, with a fantastic breakfast, good options for dinner and varied cocktails. The staff is very attentive at all times. The hotel is located on a quiet side of the island, without noise and protected from the wind, making it ideal for resting. Is not a luxury hotel but was more than enough and over our expectations.

There are no power outlets next to the bedside tables to recharge phones or cameras... something that could easily be fixed.

Everything!! the villas, the location , the food and the staff. We booked a two bed villa and it was exceptional, the outdoor bathroom and shower was amazing, the villa was very spacious, it had a lounge area with a hammock and the place was spotless. The villas are right on the beach front and the view from day loungers by the pool are second to none. The food was so good here we ate there most nights. If you are going to Gili T I’d highly recommend this place, whether you stay or pop in for some food and drink you won’t be disappointed.

The location was perfect at the North end of the island, away from the hustle of the harbour. The stretch of beach the hotel is on is incredibly pretty and in the evening we could see turtles feeding along the shore. Our villa was away from the small road that circles the island and so very quiet and peaceful. The staff were really helpful, relaxed but efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and we tried pretty much everything on the menu without a single bad dish. Cocktails were also excellent.

If you like peace and quiet and golden beaches then this is your place. Gorgeous tiny resort of just a few cabins. Very personal feel and service. Gorgeous gardens and views and the restaurant food was exquisite night after night. Outdoor bathroom was lovely also. We spent a very happy week here and would go back again in a heart beat.

I think some of the cabins were built previous to others and it’s visible from outside so likely inside also (missing lights, different flooring). I would update the older ones. Furthermore, we had an issue one night with a meal and too much of a big deal was made where a simple 20% discount for example should have been directly put on meal bill without much more to be said. It ruined one meal for us and a breakfast following due to the issue being brought up again in morning. Lastly, not their fault at all but beaches are all coral so not easy to swim in.
