Villas are nicely set up, the outside bathrooms, the lounge and chill areas, and the bedrooms are lovely. Staff friendly and helpful. It's so peaceful and a relaxing family environment. Breakfast is a lovely edition and worth the value, and we enjoyed having breakfast at our Villa, which allowed for family private dining.

Hotel guests should be given mossie spray and the restaurant should be better equipped to curb the irritation of flies during meal times. Providing bicycles as part of facilities would be a nice to have (although they do arrange them for hire). For rainy days, some board games, packs of cards, and / or chess sets would be a lovely edition for families.

The location of Gili Eco Villas is incredibly peaceful and serene, whilst only being a short 15-20 minute bike ride from the main strip of Gili T. Having access to a private section of beach was wonderful. Our villa came with an outdoor day bed with a fan conveniently placed above it which ensured we could nap leisurely in the heat of the day. The team at Gilj Eco Villas were very welcoming and ensured we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and the team were more than happy to make adjustments to the dishes to suit our vegetarian dietary needs.

The floor in our villa felt very fragile (bendy, creaky along with some minor trip hazards). There were also quite sizeable gaps in some floorboards and areas around the roof. The lighting in the room could have been better and the space could have been used better to ensure a more convenient area to get ready on an evening (the inclusion of a full length mirror and dressing table would have been handy). There was only one key for our room (we were told this was due to the spare key breaking), whilst this didn't inconvenience us too much, the team had to take our key to clean our room which meant on one occasion the room had to be cleaned whilst we were outside on the day bed. If a spare key could be cut sooner rather than later that would be more preferable to future guests.

Villa for two people, spacious, clean, with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, air conditioning which is much appreciated and a well-stocked fridge with soft drinks and beers. The open-air bathroom (very clean) was an experience! The villa has a terrace with a lounger and hammock to hang out. The complex has 2 swimming pools, a restaurant right next to the beach, with a fantastic breakfast, good options for dinner and varied cocktails. The staff is very attentive at all times. The hotel is located on a quiet side of the island, without noise and protected from the wind, making it ideal for resting. Is not a luxury hotel but was more than enough and over our expectations.

There are no power outlets next to the bedside tables to recharge phones or cameras... something that could easily be fixed.

Everything!! the villas, the location , the food and the staff. We booked a two bed villa and it was exceptional, the outdoor bathroom and shower was amazing, the villa was very spacious, it had a lounge area with a hammock and the place was spotless. The villas are right on the beach front and the view from day loungers by the pool are second to none. The food was so good here we ate there most nights. If you are going to Gili T I’d highly recommend this place, whether you stay or pop in for some food and drink you won’t be disappointed.

If you like peace and quiet and golden beaches then this is your place. Gorgeous tiny resort of just a few cabins. Very personal feel and service. Gorgeous gardens and views and the restaurant food was exquisite night after night. Outdoor bathroom was lovely also. We spent a very happy week here and would go back again in a heart beat.

I think some of the cabins were built previous to others and it’s visible from outside so likely inside also (missing lights, different flooring). I would update the older ones. Furthermore, we had an issue one night with a meal and too much of a big deal was made where a simple 20% discount for example should have been directly put on meal bill without much more to be said. It ruined one meal for us and a breakfast following due to the issue being brought up again in morning. Lastly, not their fault at all but beaches are all coral so not easy to swim in.

This place is truly beautiful, inside and out. No picture j can do justice to vie from the pool or restaurant right over the beach and aquamarine water. We stayed with our 4 and 7 year old boys and they loved the pool and were so lucky to see turtles literally meters in front of the resort (knee deep water). The food was amazing, staff delightful and the rooms were luxurious (we stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which had a huge covered outdoor living space). The resort is in the perfect position if you want to be away from the party scene, but there’s still plenty of foot traffic and a short stroll to other restaurants etc. And to be able to walk from your room straight into the water and to some of the best reefs around - unbelievable!

Perfect location! Quiet and relaxing! Pool area with bar was perfect overlooking the beachfront! 3 hour happy hour was so good and cocktails delicious using fresh ingredients! Lunch on the menu was really good. Staff were so lovely and accomodating to our needs! Villa was great!

Breakfast was okay. Sometimes missing ingredients that were on the menu in our food. Had a broken key in door which wasn’t fixed straight away and had to ask about it the next day again to get fixed.

Amazing location right on the beach. Freindly and helpful staff. Decent restaurant with breakfast included, good service. Can have your meals on the beach if you want which is nice. Reception will book bicycle or horse cart if requested and provide helpful information.

Room service on one occasion left their key in front door of our villa. The closet in our room had weak magnets so the creaky door would open whenever we walked past. The fridge in our villa was far too large and took up a lot of room, it was not necessary.

wonderfull resort - luxury, but in a relaxed and perfect way. the bungalows are nice, the surroundings lovely, the good restaurant at the beach os amazing at nigt - and the staff is helpfull and always with a smile. Absolutely to be recommended.

Literally amazing! We had a 2 bedroom villa which was stunning. Had such a lovely outdoor area to chill and such nice bathrooms! The staff were so so friendly and so helpful! 1000% recommend! The pools were lovely and complimentary breakfast just topped our experience here! Also can see the sunset from the beach with cocktails on 50% discount!

One of the showers didn’t work fully - not a big deal tho! And the current is a bit strong to swim off the beach there so would probably have to walk down the island to go for a lovely swim!
