This hotel is a large modern clean establishment, just off the beach and within minutes walk to numerous bars shops and restaurants. It is very secure with guards, our arriving taxi was checked underneath for bombs! All the staff are very helpful and friendly with excellent english. The check in process is quick and easy with a welcome drink and cool towel. Our room was very large, light and modern. Bottled water and toiletries supplied. Room safe, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facility, mini bar. They bug spray each evening and do a basic turn down service. There are 2 pools, both with swim up bars. A reasonable amount of sunbeds but not all getting the sun all day. However the beach is literally across the road with hundreds of bars, sun loungers and bean bags. Great waves for surfing. There is a good restaurant with a wide range of choice at very reasonable prices for lunch and evening - best to book if they have entertainment on though. Remember there is tax and service charge on everything! Breakfast is self service buffet with an egg station and served coffee, don't be in a hurry, everything is very slow. There are lovely large pool towels supplied. There is a gym but we only used it on our final day for showering and changing before flying home. We had asked for a late check out but unfortunately the hotel was very full and the price was therefore prohibitive. Normal check out time is midday. There is a very reasonable airport shuttle taxi which takes about 45 mins 250k We used the spa for massages - excellent professional experience and so cheap! The area feels safe, lots of money changing facilities nearby. It served a purpose for us to end our holiday in Legian to be nearer to the airport for our late night flight home but this modern Australian Benidorm was not our favourite area. It depends what you want I guess

The hotel looks very nice and is very clean. The facilities, such as the gym and the pool, are great. The gym is open very early and almost always empty, so you have plenty of space to do your thing. The hotel restaurant has great food for breakfast and is also great for dinner.

The pool area is always very busy, and since (many) hotel room balconies look down on the pool, it can be a bit noisy. The hotel is also close by some pubs, which makes it a busy area (which is common for Legian beach). So if you’re not a fan of such neighbourhoods, then this hotel may be a less well option.

I like that we had a free upgraded room. I liked the spaciousness of the room, the view and the flow of it overall. It was definitely beautiful. The staff where very friendly and helpful and customer service was on point. One of the main reasons why I'll be back.

I didn't like that the rain shower was so weak (water pressure) and it took a while for the heat to come through. I also saw a little roach in the basin when I went to the toilet in the middle of the night.

Breakfast very tasty. Staff absolutely amazing especially angga and arya. Pool was also very nice and the pool bars are amazing and never felt too crowded on the sun beds even when it started to pick up

I wish the spa was open so we could use the hotel one instead of going elsewhere

Bandha hotel located just in front of Legian beach. The hotel grounds, pools and rooms were beautiful and the staff were super attentive to our needs. We stayed with our 8 month old baby and they had a shallow pool, pool noodles, high chairs and large rooms and all the staff made extra effort with our baby. Hotel breakfast was good and location to the beach and local shops great. Taxi rides into Seminyak via Grab (Uber) was quick and cost only a few dollars each way.

Menu options at the Mozzarella restaurant are ok but limited, however one night we ate at the next hotel and their food was great!

Hotel has obviously had a recent refit and is being maintained to high standard . The junior suite was very comfy and spacious although we wouldn’t have been comfortable in the lower suites which have a public walkway right across the verandah entrance - massive privacy issue .

For us the quality and style of the hotel doesn’t fit in with the noisey full on bustle and squaller that is Legian . Local bali people could not be happier and more helpful if they tried . We were offered an in included daily cocktail in our deal . However the hotel’s definition of a cocktail differs some what to ours . The offering was a low class sugar based alcohol pop contains racki or some other wood alcohol - completely un drinkable - could not upgrade to real cocktails or substitute for alternative - waste of money !

What an amazing stay! Welcome drink on arrival, the friendliest staff ever (special shout out to Augustine!), room was perfect, delicious buffet breakfast every morning & both pools were so amazing to truly unwind and relax in. Swim up pool bars for the win!

It was spacious and clean. The bathroom was luxurious and the main room(we had a family suite) was fabulous with a great balcony. The view from the balcony was of an alleyway, which wasn’t fabulous, but overall really good. Our 16yo was wrapped to have his own room and ensuite. The location was perfect with bars, restaurants and shops straight out the back gate. We grabbed a scooter for a couple of days and really enjoyed the shopping in the area.

The pool area seemed bigger online. Both pools were adequate but had a lot of shade both in the morning and late afternoon. Sunning by the pool could only really take place in the middle of the day.

The facilities are great, but what really made this place was the staff. Everyone was super friendly, helpful and kind with whatever I needed. The room was well equipt and the bed was amazing! The 2 different pools were fantastic and the gym isn't anything fancy but it gets the job done. Amazing location just across from the beach and super easy to get anywhere. Felt super safe with the guards everywhere too. Will definitely stay again.

I tended to sleep in so it would be great if breakfast went a little later. I have food allergies so would have been great to have some better options at breakfast too.

The Bandha Hotel is a great location being close to Seminyak. The hotel surprised us with yummy sponge cakes for our 30 year wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday on our arrival. The bed was exceptional being a Hollywood King and so comfortable. I love that it's not a huge resort and feels very private with a pool at the front and back of hotel right on the beach. Food was excellent, but could cater more for gluten free guests. The staff go way and beyond to ensure everyone is enjoying themselves and are very friendly. I would definitely come back here in the future.
