My recent visit to The Bandha Hotel & Suites was overall a wonderful experience, though we did encounter some difficulties upon check-in. There was a mix-up with our reservation, which caused a bit of frustration. However, I must commend the hotel's manager, who stepped in promptly to resolve the issue. They were incredibly understanding and worked diligently to ensure we were accommodated smoothly. Once we were settled in, our stay turned out to be quite enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed. The hotel’s location was convenient, allowing us to easily explore nearby attractions. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which contributed to a lovely atmosphere. We truly appreciated their efforts to make our experience memorable. In the end, I would highly recommend The Bandha Hotel & Suites. Even though we faced a few bumps at the start, the manager's professionalism turned our experience around, and we left with happy memories!

During our stay, I was surprised to find that certain items during breakfast, even those costing less than $1, had to be paid for separately. This was a bit inconvenient, as I expected a more seamless experience. Additionally, if you happen to forget to pay for an extra item, the waiter would come to your room to collect the payment, even if your "Do Not Disturb" (DND) sign was on the door. This felt a bit intrusive and disrupted the sense of privacy one hopes to enjoy while staying at a hotel. While I appreciate the hotel’s effort to provide quality service, I believe streamlining the payment process for breakfast could greatly enhance the guest experience

We got a room upgrade, which was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise! Great service and polite staff. The pools are nice, and the breakfasts were delicious and varied. We also went to the Japanese restaurant owned by the hotel — it was absolutely amazing! I’ll definitely come back here again, but next time with my mom. She’s going to love it here!

Love the spacious two bedroom family suite. 2 separate bedrooms with separate toilets are great to provide everyone with their own space. The main bathroom is huge with bathtub. Nice balcony as well with drying rack to dry your swimsuits. There is TV in each bedroom and plenty of channels (CNN, CNA, HBO and other cable tv channels). The usual amenities (toileries, hair dryer, in-room safe, mini fridge). The staffs are friendly and polite. Really happy with their service. The hotel breakfast is served at Mozzarella which is their in-house Italian restaurant. Last order is 10:30am so you must be there latest by 10am. Limited choices but the food is pretty decent. The highlight is the freshly made coffee by their barista. Love their Caffè Latte (not bitter, no sour aftertaste and very smooth). They have 2 swimming pools. One at the hotel lobby and another one near the Mozzarella restaurant. The gym is also located near the mozzarella restaurant. 1.3m depth but they have kiddy pools with 60cm depth. We make use of their in-house Visala Spa. Hotel guests received 10% discount for their services. We enjoyed their Balinese massage. Access to beach is through the Mozzarella restaurant, cross the street and you are at the beach. The street is generally empty with the occasional motorbikes. A far cry from my previous stay in Hard Rock Hotel that is located at the always busy Jalan pantai Kuta. Legian beach is a quiter part of Kuta thus its much cleaner as well. If you walk south towards the main Kuta beach, you can see that it will get more crowded and encounter more trash. We went to Beachwalk Mall from the beach and it took us around 30 mins of leisurely walk (we took grab back, I dont recommend walking through the beach when its dark). There is a minimart near the hotel and other restaurants and bars as well.

Fireworks sound from the nearby beach bars can be annoying. I thought it was gunshot at first but then I saw the fireworks. The hotel is stingy with water. Only provide 4 bottles for 5 of us and I have to request for more from housekeeping. It should be 2 bottles of water per pax per day by default.

I have to praise helpfulness of the stuff and the room we stayed. We first booked junior suite but was requesting not to have the ground floor but when we got the room it was on ground floor. I raised my concern’s that i had requested balcony etc. our room was upgraded to executive suite instead and it full filled all our expectations. I have travelled to Bali multiple times and stayed in many 5star hotels and villas. This must be my absolute favorite now. Its location is perfect as theres no car traffic allowed in the beach road.. its in walking distance to everywhere and has really good restaurant in hotel and also nearby. I hardly ever give someone 10points but this hotel deserves this. I will 100% return and book this same room again as it was perfect! And again it must be one of the beat customer service ever received.

This hotel is a large modern clean establishment, just off the beach and within minutes walk to numerous bars shops and restaurants. It is very secure with guards, our arriving taxi was checked underneath for bombs! All the staff are very helpful and friendly with excellent english. The check in process is quick and easy with a welcome drink and cool towel. Our room was very large, light and modern. Bottled water and toiletries supplied. Room safe, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facility, mini bar. They bug spray each evening and do a basic turn down service. There are 2 pools, both with swim up bars. A reasonable amount of sunbeds but not all getting the sun all day. However the beach is literally across the road with hundreds of bars, sun loungers and bean bags. Great waves for surfing. There is a good restaurant with a wide range of choice at very reasonable prices for lunch and evening - best to book if they have entertainment on though. Remember there is tax and service charge on everything! Breakfast is self service buffet with an egg station and served coffee, don't be in a hurry, everything is very slow. There are lovely large pool towels supplied. There is a gym but we only used it on our final day for showering and changing before flying home. We had asked for a late check out but unfortunately the hotel was very full and the price was therefore prohibitive. Normal check out time is midday. There is a very reasonable airport shuttle taxi which takes about 45 mins 250k We used the spa for massages - excellent professional experience and so cheap! The area feels safe, lots of money changing facilities nearby. It served a purpose for us to end our holiday in Legian to be nearer to the airport for our late night flight home but this modern Australian Benidorm was not our favourite area. It depends what you want I guess

I would return to Bandha with no hesitation. The staff are beyond excellent. Our every need was met. My husband was swindled at a money changer and security accompanied him back and he retrieved the shortfall. The location is perfect as ocean breezes blow through the property. Majority of guests were middle to mature aged so not rowdy but lots of conversation while at the pool bar with music in the background Entertainment every night at the restaurant. Close proximity to good bars, restaurants, mini mart, pharmacy, massages... everything! Very clean including the 2 pools. Step out across the road to beach bars for a bit of fun. Buffet breakfast well worth it. Varied all the time plus egg station.

Nothing

Staff were so accommodating with nothing being too much trouble. It was my partners birthday on the day we arrived - I had not made any mention of this to the staff either prior to arriving or on the day BUT they went out of their way to make sure he was celebrated with a card and special touches to the room decor regardless. Rooms were a good size and very comfortable (with a huge shower and great water pressure) The pool was lovely and the swim up bar a great feature. The hotel is located in a great beachfront position with only a short walk into the heart of Legian for shopping, bars and restaurants.

The hotel looks very nice and is very clean. The facilities, such as the gym and the pool, are great. The gym is open very early and almost always empty, so you have plenty of space to do your thing. The hotel restaurant has great food for breakfast and is also great for dinner.

The pool area is always very busy, and since (many) hotel room balconies look down on the pool, it can be a bit noisy. The hotel is also close by some pubs, which makes it a busy area (which is common for Legian beach). So if you’re not a fan of such neighbourhoods, then this hotel may be a less well option.

Our experience at The Bandha Hotel & Suites was simply outstanding! We were a group of 70 people, and from the moment we arrived, the entire team showed incredible kindness, professionalism, and dedication. A special thank you to Ani, Sardela, Pageh, Ayu, Silvy, Nirma, Sangayu, Ery, Apri, and Dian, who were always available and attentive, making us feel not just like guests but truly special. The rooms are spacious, elegantly furnished, and meticulously cleaned, providing a true haven of comfort and relaxation. The breakfast is rich, varied, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients—perfect for starting the day right. We also had the pleasure of dining at Mozzarella Restaurant, where both lunch and dinner were absolutely delicious, offering a great selection of dishes to satisfy every taste. The entire hotel is impeccably maintained, from the common areas to the pool, with every detail carefully looked after to ensure a top-tier experience. The Bandha hotel was an excellent choice for our 4 generations holiday here. We travelled with our baby and 6 year old. The teepee was full of toys and games for our oldest child and the cot was very safe and secure for our baby. The beds were very comfortable and rooms luxurious. We had a family suite and the additional bathroom was very handy. The team provided exceptional care for us all, looking after our eldest 87year old grandmother even! Marta and his team at breakfast were a highlight which was right on the beachfront. The location was excellent and allowed access to rear shopping needs also with a 7/11 and pharmacies in the street behind (20m away). Overall we researched for months where to stay in Bali and loved our choice! We plan to return next month and stay again!
