We spent great time in this hotel. Receptionist was very communicative, super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very cosy, clean and really high standard for a 3- Star hotel. We were in three different hotels during our stay in Nusa Penida and this one was definitely the best of all and in very good price which makes it super value. Breakfasts are really good and you receive 2 drinks (fresh juice and tea/coffe where in other hotels usually it is just 1 drink). To our surprise there is also a free transport to the Buyuk harbour which is quite unique for the hotels in this area. Hotel is located just opposite the Banjar Nyuh harbour and there are great restaurants nearby. We would love to spend all of my stay in Nusa Penida there, but unfortunately Akatara was fully booked at that time.

Such a lovely spot, pool area was fabulous, gardens lovely. Staff very friendly. Location was very easy to get to, walking distance from the port. The hotel helped us with everything we asked so well. They organised a day trip for us, picked us up for free from the further away port, organised our boat tickets to leave and even took us to the port when leaving to help us get our tickets. The room was also very clean and a lovely modern bathroom!

While the location is very convenient it is also the only downside to the hotel, it is quite noisy very early in the morning and late at night. Overall great value for money though. Id stay here again :)

The hotel was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, the room had a balcony, clean warm pool and the hotel is close to the port to go to Sanur. They offered a shuttle transfer to the port with our lagguages. Has nice restaurants close by, supermarket and massage. We had breakfast included and requested it take away, which was perfect and very kind from them to offer it as it was before breakfast time (which starts at 7am). The stuff was welcoming and very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel! Thanks

After a horrific experience at the previous property and having to leave in the night, we were quickly able to book a room here which I was very happy about. We arrived in the evening and were given a ground floor room which opened out to the pool! The room was very clean, bed was comfy and the pool was quiet and at points felt like you had your own pool outside your room which was swim up. In a more touristy destination, somewhere like this would cost so much more so was amazing to be able to have that experience here. Also, breakfast was included in the price where you could go to reception in the morning and tell them what you would like (the pancakes were great!). Location was also very central.

This is in no way a reflection of the property but beware of the dogs that seem to hang out outside the hotel and can be quite pack-like (we did have an experience where they chased my partner down the road() but this is the same as anywhere in this location and like I say no reflection of the hotel and more of the area itself.

The property is very well located. Many other properties on the island are quite isolated and far from restaurants and the harbour. This hotel is a 150m walk from the harbour and there is a good buzz in the nearby restaurants in the evening. The bathroom was nice and the shower was powerful and hot.

Our room had considerable amounts of mould on the walls and we could smell the mould in the air in the room. The property is located next to the main road. This did not bother us but it might be important to know for a light sleeper.

The pool was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and the property was situated in a good location. The staff were also very accommodation with transport to and from the harbor (free of charge).

The shower towels were not replaced (and we stayed here for 4 days). There was very little drinking water in the rooms but you can go to the front desk and ask them to fill it up for you. There were no hand towels and no hand soap.

We like the hotel so much that we stayed for the second time during our 2 month on Bali. The hotel is right at the port and there are many restaurants nearby. We liked the room very much, not very big but super clean, comfy bed, pleasant amenities and good shower. The pool is on a smaller side but it's cozy. And the price is very cheap, didn't expect such good hotel for the price, especially compared to other hotels we've been to in same and higher price range across Penida and Bali.

What a truly fabulous stay. Incredibly convenient location to the piers for pickup and drop off back to Bali (easy walking distance), and located right across the street for a great icecream spot and many yummy restaurants. The SWEETEST front desk staff. So helpful at Check in, providing extra towels and helping us figure out how to take advantage of our complimentary breakfasts even though we left so early. The rooms were very clean, and the beds very comfortable. Nice that they had tea in the rooms, and we enjoyed our rooms balcony. They went out of their way to help us get breakfast “to go” on the morning of check out so we could eat before we got on the boat back to Bali. So appreciative of this stay. Book now, you won’t regret it!

not sure the pool was swimmable?

Thisust have been the nicest place we stayed in in Bali. The pictures just don't do it justice. It's a nice place where you feel secluded, when in the middle of the village. The location is superb with restaurants just around the corner and the harbour a stonesthrow away. The room was absolutely amazing. We had the pool view room. The beds are absolutely fantastic. Hands down best once of our trip. The bathroom is a good size. The rain shower is nice and spacious with good pressure.

The pool area is nice, room is furnished nicely. Tv was nice to have for when it was raining a lot. Conveniently located next to a few restaurants. The included breakfast was great and filling.

We found the pillows to be uncomfortable, they’re too raised. I wound up sleeping without a pillow because the pillow gave me a sore neck. That’s really my biggest complaint. Also, felt like it was maybe a little bit overpriced compared to other hotels on the island, but the location is ideal to be fair.
