The staff went above and beyond, staying up til 2am to let us in when I let them know our flight was delayed. They had our room all ready for us with lights on and curtains drawn, and let us skip formal check in until we had slept. Breakfast was incredible value, a wide variety of food delivered to the room. The bed was super comfy, and Netflix on the big TV was a bonus. The pool was the perfect temp, and was checked for cleanliness daily. The room was stunning. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

The location is not conducive to walking around, esp if you have kids with you. No footpaths, not a touristy area. Its not handy to Sanur beach or the main restaurants / shops etc. We based ourselves at The Mavila for 3 nights to settle in and do day-trips to Ubud, then moved to Sanur Beach for the rest of our stay to be in the heart of things. This worked really well for us :)

My friend and I stayed at The Mavila for 3 nights in January. The villas are gorgeous. We had a small concern with the pool and the staff were very happy to quickly move us to another villa so we could utilise the pool as soon as possible. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. My friend arranged a surprise birthday package for me - The Mavila team did an exceptional job of setting up the balloons, decorations and cake. It made our stay extra special and memorable. No request was too hard for The Mavila team. Thank you so much for having us. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to all of my friends and family.

Loved our little villa to ourselves. The bed was comfortable and it was great to be able to come back after a long day our looking around Sanur to refresh in our pool.

The pool tiles in the pool were super slippery. There were jo washers or hand towels in the bathroom. The kitchen is a great idea however lacks utensils to cook with like a sharp knife tongs etc and no tea towel. Breakfast on two mornings came cold and our 3rd came nice and hot but had chicken or pork through it when requested no meat! Maybe give thenoption to eat in the villa or in your little restaurant and give between hours. The villas are about 1km from the city centre and it would be a great idea if you provided bicycles, you can get ones that have locked on the back tyre so it is safe to lock up in the city centre.

The villa was beautiful and so relaxing. The bed was comfortable, with a great size tv. Staff were always helpful and very friendly. Food from the restaurant was delicious, we could either eat in or have room service. The villa is located a short distance from Sanur Beach

Need a little more guest parking for the motorbike. At times it was tricky finding a spot, although staff were helpful with this

Excellent little private villa, staff where all really friendly and try their best. In room services (massages, decorations, cakes) where all really good and easy to arrange, also well price but best to contact them via What's app to arrange stuff. Breakfast options where good, but dinner options average, recommend taking the 5min walk down to the road to find lots of good dinner options. Good range of options for special occasions they can sort out decoration for the room, pool plus handle special packages for event include cakes/food.

Dinner options/quality not great. Pool could have used a clean as it was slippery. Also the pool does not have steps/ladder so not suitable for less mobile persons or kids.

Though near a busy street, you will not here the noise. Villa was clean, comfortable and well maintained. You’ll have absolute privacy. Enjoy your own clean pool. Villa was cleaned every day and the accommodation offers a fair selection of breakfast. Also the option for in-home dinner from the restaurant. A lovely stay, also because of the very friendly and accommodating staff. A very nice stay!

The only point of criticism is the potential noise from the neighbors. The villas are next to each other, so you can clearly hear loud neighbors in and around the pool.

Was very quiet with only a few villas.The staff were friendly and really welcoming.We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and they had the bath filled with rose petals and petal message.Villa was cleaned when we were gone.Nice selection of toiletries.Breakfast was included and lovely.

Was a 15 minute walk to the beach,part across a busy road with pedestrian crossing but would be better to get a taxi or rent a scooter.

The villa was nice and clean, but it did seem like it is a bit worn out. That didn’t bother us. The staff friendly and the food was good. We ordered room service for lunch and food tasted very good. The price was very affordable for room service. We also ordered breakfast in the villa which was a bit less tasty although it looked very good. Overall great experience for the price.

floating breakfast was amazing and lots of it. Need condiments though. More salt and pepper, a variety of sauce and need butter for the toast.

The room didnt have anything to wash plates and cutlery and no drying towels. The floor gets very wet when the pool is in use so an extra towel for the floor would be great. I did aks for some and they were happy to help.

The apartment is really nice with the private swimmingpool. Room is quite big and there is a nice chill area. It's very private

The breakfast must to be chosen everytime the day before or all at once, and it was for our taste not very good but there were 4 different choices. The towels were all with stains, there were washed but with lots of spots.
