One of the loveliest small hotels I have ever stayed at. Tastefully appointed rooms, gorgeous pool and superb location just a short walk from the most stunning wide soft white sandy beach & turquoise waters. Beautiful scenery. Great beach for learning to surf. The hotel itself is spotless & run by the kindest most helpful staff including Nun & Hadi. The onsite restaurant is excellent serving great quality tasty dishes for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The owners, Sarah & Steve, are a lovely couple who have created a hotel with a chilled & relaxed vibe. We spent 5 nights here & I would return in a heart beat!

We stayed here for 6 nights and loved it. The property is really only 5’ walking from Selong Blanak beach, which is gorgeous - on the left you have local bars and surfing lessons, on the right you’re on a completely wild beach. Within 10’ minutes radius, you’re walking distance from local shops and restaurants. The staff is incredibly kind, professional and available to support you on booking activities and making your stay as comfortable as possible. The bed is super comfy, great shower, good size room. The whole decor of the property makes you feel really on vacation and soothes your senses. They have a lovely quick bite menu for a lazy afternoon by the pool, which is a great pool by the way, and a super tasty breakfast with plenty of options. Thanks Hadi and Sanah in particular for being so great during our stay, and the whole backstage staff for the yummy food and always keeping our room so tidy <3

I loved absolutely everything, from A to Z. Delicious breakfasts with good coffee served until 11:00; absolutely wonderful, professional and friendly personnel; spotlessly clean rooms; BEAUTIFUL decor and great music in the dining area. Very rarely can you find places like this where there's really nothing to improve. Also, the intimate, boutique character of the place makes you feel like at home and you get to meet wonderful people. And oh, they even have delicious Balinese wine (!). Thank you for your outstanding hospitality - I will be back ;)

The only bad thing about this place was that I had to leave :(

- Extremely welcoming warm staff and owners. - Great location for exploring the south of Lombok in a scooter (you can rent it at Suku) - Excellent tasty menu in the restaurant, almost every dish is delicious and everything is made out of fresh ingredients. Breakfast is also great. - Great facilities: very comfortable rooms and beautiful swimming pool

- It would be great to have yoga (and potentially other activities) offered at the hotel

The hotel has been tastefully designed with great eye for detail. This is also coming back in the very tasteful menu as well as the way the staff is trained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is quite a big size. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach, where you will find Warungs and surfschools. Selong Belanak is not overcrowded by tourists and it has got a very relaxed atmosphere about it.

This is a hidden gem, exceptional eye for details and customer care. Sanah, Isma and Hadi at reception are incredibly professional and helpful, we felt so well taken care of, whatever we needed they strived to help us with. The menu is exciting, healthy, fresh, absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The owners greeted us with a lot of warmth, and I love their environment-friendly vision, a big attractor for me. The place is spotless clean, with a gorgeous pool, just 5 minutes walk from the beach, 5 minutes to various warungs, may you want to try something else but what the hotel offers. We stayed 3 extra days, We would happily return here.

Suku is a 10/10! The room and the furniture was very stylish and super clean. The staff is awesome and they took care of all our needs. From the moment of our arrival they knew our names and gave us a very family-like feeling. The location of the accomendation is also very good. We didn’t hear any noises and slept pretty well :) In our opinion the closest beach is the most beautiful beach in this area and it took us only 5-10 min by walk! We highly recommend this accomendation. Thanks to the staff everyone feels like home and in our case it was easy to connect to other guests. We highly recommend this hotel and if we will ever come back to Lombok, for sure, we would stay at Suku. Thanks for having us as your guests <3

It's a relatively new hotel, opening in 2019, run by a friendly German/Lombok couple. They don't live on site but are usually around during the day & they're very good at providing information on the local area. They also helped us plan the rest of our visit to Lombok. The advanced communication from the hotel was very clear and helpful, and the 10 adjoining rooms are either side of a 15 metre pool (5 each side). The staff are super friendly and helpful and the food is very good, in fact we ate all our meals at the hotel. Mopeds are available to hire from the hotel, and the spectacular beach is a 5 minute walk along a path near the hotel. It has little beach restaurants and surf schools at one end. The room is nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable, and it was lovely to have toiletries provided and hot showers.

Limited surfaces to put our things on, especially by the bed. It would be a good idea to have ceiling fans in the restaurant as it can get very hot even though it's open on 2 sides. We stayed during a very bad storm, and there was a prolonged blackout in the evening, which lasted until the early hours of the next day. As the hotel doesn't have a generator (an environmental decision) we spent the evening by torch and candlelight in both the restaurant and our room. We didn't mind, but some might find this off-putting. The toilet needed a really good clean.

We both loved staying at Suku. Mainly because it's so intimate with the small amount of rooms. The meaning of community is brought to life by the owners and staff members on-site. Will definitely come back and we're already planning next trip to Lombok, staying at Suku of course!

We liked it all. The hospitality and approach from the people involved is wonderful.

Very beautiful hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast options - i think I had the best oats in my life at this place! Swimming pool is lovely. We also purchased a surfing lesson through them and enjoyed it a lot. The room smells amazing and the design is beautiful! We had a gecko in the room and the staff came to the rescue.

Restaurant is not open the whole day and has some specific schedule, it would work better for us if they served food at all times - but it just made us leave the place and go exploring. There is some renovation going on next door, so sometimes we could hear it but it was also not a bother.
