Location Centre of Senggigi in the main strip Roof top pool a winner and a couple of coldies. Visit the bar for a sundowner a must…meet other visitors, locals and Peter the hotel owner and not forgetting the very astute and knowledgeable bar manager Mal. Breakfast was tasty

It was the most annoying issue. There is a mosque situated across the road from the Taman restaurant and Hotel. The speaker is directly pointed at the hotel…the volume of the readings from the prayer readers and the singing actually hurt my ears it was that loud…well above what would be considered “harmful”. I was having a quiet ale and talking to some other visitors when this praying commenced…the couple I was talking to had to leave as they couldn’t bear the volume level…I had to leave as well. it’s ridiculously loud and something should be done about this noise hazard.

Food was good…the Indian dishes were very tasty. The top deck pool area very relaxing and very scenic views. Enjoyed meeting Mel at the bar again…meet up with expats and some locals for my 5pm cold beer or two. The owner very accomodating and enjoyed a chat at the bar at 5. The staff were very helpful and have beautiful nature

There is a Mosque opposite the hotel …its speaker pointing directly into the Taman restaurant under the hotel. It’s extremely noisey and is well above what is considered healthy hearing levels…actually got ear pain. I realise locals have to pray etc but this is far too loud for standard hearing….needs amplifier turned down. This noise happens at 5am and again at 5 to 5:30 pm…when you sleeping and when you having a quiet cold beer at the bar. Ridiculously loud and harmful

I love pool on top of the hotel and nice big rooms! Bed is very comfortable and good breakfast!

Senggigi needs city clean up and Red doorz sign brings this butigue hotel down!

The start was not so good, because the room they showed me was not great-looking. Very outdated, and without fridge (even if i booked room with fridge). But the staff changed my room and it was good. After that, everyrhing went really good, we even extended our stay there. The owner is very friendly, he showed some places to visit. Renting a scooter is very easy - just next to the hotel. Also next to hotel is very good spa with good prices. Hotel has a pool with sunbathing chairs. You can also order a food and eat on top of the roof where the pool is.

I liked the hotel because it was like a home away from home because everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Whenever we went outside the room staff were smiling and asking how we were. Our room was quite spacious and had a very comfortable big bed plus a sofa, desk, fridge and air con. The bathroom had a great rainfall shower. The hotel has an extensive food menu and all the dishes were great and inexpensive. We joined a few visitors and locals at the bar one night and really enjoyed it. There is a rooftop pool with great views of the surround hillside. The hotel is in the centre of Senggigi and handy to several supermarkets and local shops and money changers. I had a fabulous hour long massage for $10 right next door tot he hotel. My husband and I intend to come back to Lombok next year and we will definitely be staying at Taman Unique Hotel.

The location is convenient to restaurants, beach access, and excursion opportunities. I paid less than $20 for a one night stay and it ticked the boxes - cold AC, hot water, comfy bed, and lovely staff. I booked last-minute and got a promo rate. The hotel is next door to a spa and has convenient stores, a pharmacy, and a restaurant within a few steps of the lobby. Ibu Sri is wonderful with her happy personality and helpful spirit. Whenever I visit Senggigi, I make it a point to say hi her smile and laughter encourage me to return again. Simple accommodation with stellar staff!

The rooftop area needs refreshing, but the view is still nice so it didn’t detract from my stay.

Excellent value for money, great clean large pool, large rooms with space on balcony to dry clothes, aircon was strong. Amazing hot water that lasted forever! Fridge and kettle in the room.

The wood in bathroom was rotton so holes in walls for mosquitoes to get in, water from shower dribbled out or the shower head. You had to have the room card in for the aircon and fridge to be on, so couldn’t store anything in the fridge and the room got warm in the day. The mosque was VERY VERY loud. The loudest we have heard across all of Indonesia.

“We stayed here because of the reviews which said this hotel was great value. But we found that it was much more. We honestly had the best time and we were so glad we booked. The hotel was full when we stayed and you would not have known, we were always able to get a lounge by the pool. Our kids loved the rooftop pool and we spent time there everyday. There is so much to do around the hotel as well. We always found somewhere to eat or shop. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back!

The accommodation was really good. After going for an early morning walk to check out Sengiggi Beach we went for breakfast at the Garden Restaurant next to Taman Unique Hotel as we had read good reports about the food. They weren't wrong. Our breakfast was fantastic. It even beat our usual breakfast at our favorite Cafe in Adelaide,which is saying something.The food was cooked to perfection and plenty of it. The plate had so much on it we could have shared it. But we didn't, because it was so good. The staff are very happy and friendly and the chef wandered out to say hello to everyone. We decided that on our next trip to Lombok we would be having our meals at Taman Unique Hotel's Garden Restaurant for sure. Top marks to everyone.

This was a nice place to relax for a couple of days, but there wasn't enough in Senggigi to make me want to stay longer. We liked the rooftop pool, and it was close to the beach and the harbour.

Senggigi feels like a resort town that the world has left behind. it felt a bit depressing to see bars, restaurants, and nightclubs all shuttered - it was clear here more than anywhere else we stayed in Indonesia how devastating the Covid-19 closures were to the economy. I can only hope that in time the economy will recover.
