This was a brilliant stay. The rooms were huge and the bed was incredibly comfy. The staff here were exceptional. Each member of staff we came across greeted us with a smile and the two members of staff working in Cascade were a fantastic duo. The food was delicious. Every meal we had was cooked to perfection and tailored to our requests (vegetarian and food allergies). The gym facilities were also brilliant. A wide range of machines to be used. The grounds were stunning and as we were lay on the sun beds it did not feel like you were in a busy city. Once again, the member of staff working by the pool was incredibly kind and helpful.

The only fault in the stay was the general wear and tear of the room. Some of our bed linen was clean but stained and the carpets in our room were very stained. Understandably, it’s been a difficult few years for tourism but the rooms could benefit from a refresh.

Incredible hotel, I have been here many times and it's always my first choice when in Indonesia. The staff are amazing, the smell of lemongrass in the lobby, outside is like a perfect maintained garden where it's very relaxing. Good pool and super comfortable beds.

It used to be a little bit better before the pandemic. It's not really the same standard today. The outside of the building looks a bit dirty and run down. There was dust on most tables in the room, broken lights and an empty minibar even though it said there was gonna be a mini bar with beverages.

I would rate them 11/10. The hospitality provided was beyond words. I cut my finger somehow I was bleeding a lot. The check in staffs were trying their best and concern of my well being even I didn't wanna cause a huge seen. One of the staffs Mega was phenomenonal getting tissues and bandages immediately. Her colleague were assisting wrapping the wound and I was really impressed they were super concerned and wanted me to be alright. Mega also allowed me to check in early due to this incident. Bedroom was huge with comfy bed. However telephone was broken but they managed to replace with a new one. Breakfast was fantastic and so was the pool and also gym facilities. Manage to utilised all the comfy features of the hotel and would love to stay here again.

The furniture is the bedroom is old design, some got broken part. The shower area is smelly, probably come from the drain. The bathroom was slippery, unfortunately my husband fell but no serious injury. i hope they can fix on that.

I loved everything, the people working there (they're so helpful, friendly and kind!), the wonderful garden where you take the breakfast, the quality, quantity and variety of food served at breakfast and dinner, the swimming pool, the view from room's wide window, the space in the room. Thank you so much for everything! It was perfect!

Maybe they could add some light in the room, because if you need to work by night, the light is not enough.

Authentice Javanese decoration around the hotel. Full of lush greeneries in the outdoor area. I like the "Gerobak" stall style in the restaurant with the restaurant staff wear the Javanese traditional attire.

Some parts in the hotel may need to be upgraded. Like the carpet, the bed seem quite old too but it's ok for me as the bed is still comfy and I had a very good sleep! They have many breakfast selection, mostly are Indonesian. I stayed for 8 days there, so the I noticed the breakfast menu are almost the same everyday.

The location, grounds and staff are all incredible. Its great value for money and it’s a real sanctuary in the middle of the city. There are many beautiful areas within walking distance and shopping malls to catch some airconditioning. It’s on a main road in the city, but once you’re inside the hotel and it’s inner courtyard you could be anywhere. The spirit of the ex-Hyatt resort lingers in the now independently owned Bumi. Their restaurant selection is great value for money.

While incredibly designed and luxurious for its time, it could do with a renovation as flaws are beginning to show. The spa treatment we had wouldn’t be recommended.

Breakfast was awesome!! The breakfast location was absolutely amazing, especially the alfresco dinning as you are in the beautiful lush garden, ponds etc. The various local food station was amazing especially the Nasi Goreng station as you can see the chef cooking the Nasi Goreng freshly while you watch. So the local cuisine is super freshly cooked. However, the room do looked a bit worn out, the carpet do need a bit of steam cleaning & deodorisation as it is a very popular family with young toddlers, still in nappies. The terrace pool area was beautifully surrounded by lots of greenery & with a mini waterfall !! It’s a great City Resort!!!

We had to book 2 rooms as they didn’t offer roll over bed for my son, so worked out more as we’re paying for 4x people accommodation. It will be great if they is a family suite where a single roll away bed could be accommodated.

The personnel is very professional and helpful from the moment you enter till you leave. Very kind and friendly with our baby. Clean rooms with nice city views. Clean pool and interesting restaurants. Central location and famous hotel.

The dinner restaurant had a lot of buffet options, the quality of some plates and the taste felt not equal, at least to us. The bed was too soft for my back gave me a back pain. We were not able to set the airco to a higher temperature than 24 °C, which is too cold for our preference.

Potentially the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything feels luxurious yet so affordable. The staff were so friendly to me and they are extremely professional. I'm a solo traveller, so it was nice that the staff guided me through everything so effortlessly. The restaurant(s) are a treat and is honestly fun to explore around the hotel grounds.

The only thing I can criticise is that the bath had several stains inside it, but that hardly really mattered to me. Everything else looked flawless and the hotel should be proud.
