the place is literally a dream, you can immediately connect with the nature staying there, the view is just breathtaking

breakfast menu options are good but there’s no much options. Serious wifi problems, if you come working from home this might not be your place, wifi reception was crashing all the time and you better might have to approach to the main areas if you have work to do.

The quietness, river sounds & jungle beauty were amazing! The staff were also helpful & accommodating. Warung Sakagraha is just over the bridge before the 7-11 & the food is exceptional. Highly recommended!

Lots of steep, mossy stairs! 😬 Villa 2 has no TV despite a TV being included in the price. Bathroom has a very strong mouldy odour.

The Serenity....staff were available to assist with all enquiries. Walk up the stairs to kadek or Diva or pass wayan or made in garden; at the entrance security always greeted; kitchen staff mangtini; arrini great Cooking enjoyable breakfast may I recommend green pancake if you have a sweet Tooth.Staff happy to help with language difference and beautiful smiles. I stayed 10 nights and I requested when room was to be changed/ cleaned. As solo traveller Anis Villas were ideal. Did I mention the location; sound of the Holy Rivers; the birds and birdsong;the colours of insects butterflies; the impressive Koi in pond the soothing sounds of nature. I walked most places transport is readily available. Kadek even ordered food delivery for me one evening and I tried Divas delicious soup. Beautiful Family Feel.Gratitude every morning for walking up in Paradise. Ubud is my medicine.

This was easily the most beautiful place I stayed in my 3 month trip to SE Asia. The villa was absolutely gorgeous, with lots of space, a beautiful shower with stone wall and bathtub. The beds were super comfy and the mosquito net gave it such a fancy vibe. The AC and water pressure were great! Pool: it was so beautiful, it seems like a natural pool so it didn't feel like it had tons of bad chemicals and my skin felt fine after going in the water. Location is perfect, a 20 minute walk from the busiest part of Ubud, which means the hotel is very peaceful. It's located right next to the river so you really feel like a part of the nature. I loved hearing the flow of the river throughout the day and night The quality of the breakfast was incredible, such good food and fresh fruit. The staff were all very sweet and so helpful with anything we needed. I would love to come back some day.

We saw a few dead snails in the mornings, they could easily avoid that if they installed motion activated lights on the trails at night. The other really sad thing is that they don't have a water refill station, they put tiny 0.5L water bottles in our room every day which creates so much unnecessary waste in a place that is already struggling with plastic pollution. I hope they can become more sustainable in the future.

Beautifully decorated villas, Balinese style wood carving. You can hear the river all day long + you have a beautiful jungle view. The pool was great, warm water. They can arrange for amazing massages in your room, the ladies come with everything prepared. You don't feel like being in Ubud, no noise. The staff was incredible, laundry, luggage storage + carrying it to our rooms etc. Really good breakfast with an amazing view of the jungle. They also have a rooftop bar and restaurant there, just walk the stairs up. Also, a good 24h store across the villa. Amazing place for yoga too - in our 2 bedroom villa + down, by the river. Hidden gem, really nice price!

Location

Steps are too steep and will have problems for climbing for senior citizens and also there is no facilities incase if any handicapped persons.

Staff were exceptional, really friendly and willing to help in any way possible. Located about 10min walk from the town and many restaurants. Quiet and very relaxing.

Little bit of damp smell coming from the bathroom, we think this was due to no external ventilation. We found using the A/C helped this and it didnt affect our stay.

- Staff were so so friendly and helpful at getting everything booked for us while we were in Ubud. They put us in touch with a lovely driver called Juli (artawanjuli on Instagram) for a very good price - Beautiful location and surroundings - Lovely pool, plenty of large cushions to lounge on for when the beds were all used - Our villa had a kitchen and a small living area - Laundry service was good (tumble dryer did slightly shrink our clothes however) - Nice breakfast with very quick service - Room has mosquito nets, good aircon and a clothes drier - TV in the rooms - Small selection of drinks available to buy for a good price - Short walk into the main area of Ubud, convenience shops very close. Over looking the river with the river walk basically next door. Short drive from the monkey forest - Would 100% stay here again and recommend to friends

- Beds were uncomfy (some were very firm) - Shower pressure in one of our rooms was awful - Room was very basic, could’ve done with mirror, lamps, etc - Wifi wasn’t good in rooms (okay in pool, restaurant, reception) - We did get ripped off booking our boat to Gili T, they told us the company we wanted to book with had stoped, charged us 100k extra than they should’ve and told us it was a fast 45 min boat that actually took 3 hours

the property is very beautiful. It’s like you’re in the middle of the jungle surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, and beauty. I had an amazing view of the pool/landscape area from my room on the second floor. It’s in a great location near the ubud market, yoga barn, shopping, and other places like the monkey forest.

The walls have mold and there are open spaces in the walls that they cover with tape. There are loads of bugs and ants at times, but it’s Indonesia of course so there’s only so much you can do. But the mold and peeling walls were a big concern for me.

The location is absolutely amazing - very short walk (5-10 min) into the town centre and 8 min walk to Bintang supermarket which is handy, while still being peaceful and surrounded by nature. There is a lovely temple and river that the hotel looks out onto which is so peaceful. The breakfast that's included is very good, I tried the pancake and omelette and both were very good.

The pool was a little bit dirty and the pool area was a bit outdated - could do with a few more sun beds and cushions
