The location and, over all, the view from the common area. Comfortable bed,. Towel included, hand and bath foam. Water refill, free coffee and tea. The balcony in the dorm with a refrigerator. Friendly cats.

The dorm was really dark. And cold. When I took my backpack from under the bed it was really dirty. Not flexibility in check in (I'm talking about half a hour and they didn't say my bed wasn't ready, they said "check in is at 2 pm") Never a smile only, the last morning, from the man serving breakfast. No answer to my question about what to do in town (I got that information from a friend staying in another hostel!)

I asked the host for a beverage opener cap, and I was shocked when he replied, “I will not give it to you. If you want to open the drink cap, go back to the place where you bought it from .” He added, “If you respect the place, go and drink outside.” After a while, he returned to me and threw the drink cap opener on the table. Great hostel! I extended my stay for another week. The staff is friendly, the breakfast is good, and it’s quiet at night. The natural view from the balcony is a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

I had a good stay, but one experience left me feeling upset. I was asked to leave the dining area while listening to music and researching Bali on my laptop, Later, I saw foreign travelers coworking there without any issue, which felt unfair. I had read articles about how Indonesian travelers are treated badly in Bali, and now I’ve experienced it myself. Sad.

I loved WW backpackers ! everything was good, the location is a few minutes walking to the center but in such a quite and not crowded spot. Nearby you have lots of choices to eat, and a river crossing just next to it (you can hear the river and it’s really relaxing). Julie and all the staff are very nice people and super friendly. It has an outside shower that’s beautiful. Evertyhing was super clean and you can use a pool which is located a few steps from the hostel that is amazing! Its the perfect place if you are not looking for a party hostel and to be in a relaxing place with lots of nature around. I booked 3 nights and ended staying 9 days. I will come back for sure :)

I loved everything

Very nice and efficient staff, the terrace is a real bonus, as it offers peace and calm away from the sound chaos of Ubud. You can easily spend some time there during the day or in the evening, reading, discussing with other backpackers

I loved this hostel so much that I went back for an additional 5 nights during my trip. It was the first hostel I stayed at and I was very happy to go back. The owner, Jerry, is amazing and so is Wira. They both made my time at this hostel SO much better and made sure that everyone at the hostel was happy and taken care of! The view from the common area is absolutely amazing and the free breakfast is great as well. There are 2 different common areas: one by the entrance and another by the dorms. The hostel is within walking distance to the city center and easy to travel to other places from as well.

There were only 2 showers/toilets in the 18 bed dorm which was definitely inconvenient at times. One of the toilets was also out of service when I was there, but nothing you can really do about that.

Breakfast was exceptionally good. I enjoyed the tour to mt Batur as well (was 400k including coffee and tea tasting in coffee plantation). Comfortable shared space with fast wifi, several card games, many outlets and some books in multiple languages. I also really liked that each bed can be fully covered with curtains. Very good privacy.

One night there was a couple of tiny ants crawling on my bed but I’m used to backpacking with budget so it didn’t really bother me. I’m in Bali so it is what it is. My bed was closest to the window and door connecting to the balcony, so maybe you can avoid it by choosing top bed in the bank bed or ask for a bed which is not adjacent to the window or door. But hygiene was generally good. Clean and tidy bed sheet and towel.

friendly staffs! 1-2 hours after my wallet was lost,reception send me the msg they found the wallet even I checked out and left already. nice and quiet location,cozy space,good breakfast,the staffs make bathroom and public areas clean and comfortable.

my wallet was lost in the public area,but the SOP about the lost and found isn’t efficient enough . when I report wallet was lost in the public area of hostel, if reception could check the monitor for the customer right away maybe is efficient. I got bedbug bits when the two days I stayed.i got bit at my legs first night and my shoulders at second night.the bed looks very tidy and clean,maybe the cleaner could check the bed clearly cause the bedbugs always hide.thank you very much.

The location was really nice, a short walk away from the main road in Ubud but also nice and quiet. Beautiful view from the balcony too. The staff were so warm, welcoming and helpful. We organised a Balinese cooking class through the hostel and can’t recommend it enough. Super easy to organise too! The breakfast was simple but all we really needed, and great to not have to worry in the morning about what to eat. We stayed in ‘Africa’ and our bunk was by the door near the balcony, nice and tucked away unlike many of the other beds so I think we lucked out - also the beds had blackout blinds around them which were incredible especially on the bottom bunk (great for a middle of the day nap after hiking Mt Batur at sunrise)
