The most beautiful and modern hotel in Ubud central! I heard that the hotel has no insect at all and it was 100% agree with it. The decoration of the room was really modern classic and traditional Bali style. The Sofa, bath towels and bedding were super clean. Also, the location of the hotel was the perfect! You can walk to Ubud central or Monkey forest and other restaurants. I had attended Yoga class in the morning, the teacher was professional and she was friendly. I highly recommend you to stay at Bisma Eight hotel.

The hotel’s receptionist female who was unfriendly. When I checked out and checked in, she was really unprofessional. Food and beverage need service training.

The room size is great, well laid out with quality fittings and fixtures. One great element that many luxury hotel 'suites' do not have is the separation of the living and the bedroom, Bisma Eight rooms do this perfectly with architectural sliding timber screens. This allows one person to be relaxing in each space without the need to wear noise-cancelling earphones when you partner wants to watch a movie and you want to read. The Onsen in the ensuite is an excellent addition to the rooms, whilst having the separate toilet actually allows two people to get ready in the space at one time. The pool area at Bisma Eight is exceptional, the gym is satisfactory when compared with most boutique hotels in Bali it is quite good.

For a 68sqm room the bed could have been larger along with more space to take suitcases. The breakfast is adequate but I have definitely had better hotel breakfasts.

charming and cozy. Great view over the forest/jungle from the pool and pool area. Cozy pool area and very nice service. the rooms are very big and in the forest suites there is a nice balcony. the other suites are also great. The menu in the restaurant was really nice and interesting. And breakfast was super nice. The service was also here perfect! There are a free morning yoga class at 8am and the teacher is very skilled.

everything is nice. The neighborhood is charming and the nearby Spa linked to the Villas was great.

The service is outstanding - right from picking you up at the airport with the hotel’s own car and driver (water and cold face towels to refresh you provided, and wifi in the car is a great touch) to booking tours, everyone is very pleasant and attentive. Enjoyed the range of both Indonesian and Western food, all of which is executed to a high standard and the vibe in Copper in the evening is great. Also a very comfortable room with all the amenities you would expect. The infinity pool is just perfect for lazy relaxation too. Location is also perfect, as it is only 15min on foot to the centre of Ubud but tucked away at the top of a side street so is very quiet.

Everything was pretty fantastic.

The hotel is beautiful and has a really great position so that you have the impression to be in the middle of the jungle yet you can easily walk (10min) to the city center where all the restaurant are. The staff is young and very friendly and they always go out of their way to help you with anything! The breakfast was abundant and nice. The room Forest suite is very big and comfortable, with an amazing view on the jungle (we even saw squirrels from the bed) and we slept well. Overall I really recommend this hotel!

Very minor remarks, at breakfast two times they forgot about the orders or part of it and we had to remind them but after that they were really efficient. In addition the neighboring property was doing construction works which ruined a bit the relaxing experience at the pool but it was not Bisma Eights fault. Finally, since the property is in the middle of the jungle I expected the beds to have mosquito nets which they didn’t.

We had a beautiful room overlooking the jungle. The pool is magnificent and we really enjoyed our 2 visits to the spa for massages and these were really well priced. The staff were 10/10. The hotel is beautiful and close by to lots of attractions. Getting the hotel car to pick you up from the airport couldn’t have been smoother and surprised with cold towels and water amazing after long travel! The guides for tours were very knowledgable and took us to great spots.

The food (breakfast, poolside and dinner) and cocktails could be worked on. We did enjoy are coffees! They have a lovely coffee shop on site.

The location was great. Just outside of the main hustle and bustle of Ubud but close to the main spots - within walking distance. The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. I slept on the sofabed. It was VERY comfortable. There were lots of little touches provided by staff which made for a lovely stay (turn down service, cookies at turn down, replenishing of water/ice). Loved the mosquito repellent cream. The toiletries provided were lovely, soothing fragrances, and helpful to sleep. Wifi was very strong throughout the resort. Staff were all wonderful, kind, attentive, and very quietly efficient. I had provided details of an allergy prior to arrival, and they had noted it, so staff were very conscious and aware. The pool area was also great with a lovely view. The fitness room was well equipped. Part of our package included a photo session with a professional photographer, which was fun. We ended up buying some of the photos, and they came out beautifully.

A minor thing (but would not stop me coming again): Food and drinks were slightly on the expensive side and limited choice (especially for vegetarians) - although it meant that we did go out more often to local restaurants.

We liked everything about Bisma Eight. We stayed in a one-bedroom villa just down the road from the main hotel. From the moment we walked into reception all the staff were lovely and helpful, catering to our every need. We were on our honeymoon, and the hotel had organized some lovely romantic welcome touches, including a chocolate cake. The Embers restaurant overlooks a beautiful garden, where the hotel grows ingredients for the restaurant. We attended the free cooking class there. Both the Embers and Coppers restaurants are fantastic for food and drink! We ate breakfast every day in Embers and dinner once in both. The villa is enormous and has everything you could need, including your private pool. If you fancy a change, you can use the infinity pool in the main hotel. The bed is so comfortable and includes a selection of different pillows. The hotel is located close to the monkey forest and the art market. If you want to go out and explore more of Ubud the hotel will organise this for you. Agus drove us to visit the rice terraces, Pura Tirta Empul, the Santi coffee Plantation Luwak, and Tibumana Waterfall. Excellent day trip, and Agus, was a very knowledgeable and helpful guide. Neither of us wants to leave! I feel we saved the best bit for the last: the Bisma Eight Villas!

The rooms and facilities are very beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast at Copper was excellent. In fact, all of the dining experiences we had at the Bisma Eight restaurants were excellent. The pool area is exactly as described in the photos. The gym was intimate but included a range of equipment for different workout regimes. There are many complementary activities also to take part in. We did the cooking class/demonstration, and the sound healing. There was also yoga and other activities. The hotel feels very safe and secluded.

The room spelt a little damp.

Excellent staff, beautiful room interior and walkable into central Ubud. House keeping was perfect and all the services I used were faultless (room service, laundry etc). The pool has a very nice view and the loungers are very comfortable. The cocktails I had were superb.

I booked a room that looked into the courtyard and I do not recommend these rooms. Get the ones that face the valley. For this price point I was disappointed by how dark my room was and the lack of privacy on the balcony (202). Additionally, whilst the food was good, it wasn’t excellent. For example Mellon that’s not ripe at breakfast, a very average pizza and all the salt in the containers was stuck together due to humidity meaning it’s impossible to season anything without putting too much salt on.
