Outstanding Experience at Griya Private Villa During our recent stay at Griya Private Villa, we were completely captivated by the exceptional quality, tranquility, and attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the warm and professional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The villa itself is a masterpiece of design, seamlessly blending luxury with traditional charm. The spacious rooms were immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every modern convenience. The private pool was an absolute highlight—sparkling clean and surrounded by lush greenery, offering a serene oasis to relax. What truly stood out was the personalized service. From the delicious breakfast prepared with fresh, local ingredients to the assistance in organizing activities and transportation, everything was handled with care and efficiency. The staff genuinely made us feel like valued guests, and their hospitality was unmatched. The location of the villa was ideal, providing a peaceful retreat while being close enough to explore the nearby attractions. I actually had to cancel my booking due to personal reasons shortly after arriving at the place. The care taker helped us with a driver for us to reach the town centre. Special mention to the driver who was very accomodating and helpful. Even though the free cancellation period was over, the owner was.gracious enough to refund one night stay which shows their commendable respect towards the customers. Kudos for that. Coming to the place,. it is great for people loving a peaceful and private time away from the main town hustle and bustle.

The overall property was very nice and we had a comfortable stay. The location could be a little more centric from the main market area and may have some nearby shops etc.

The breakfast was ok and it could include more quantity and varieties, also the care taker (Puttu) could be more helpful in terms of being around the property, the help was only available in the morning time around breakfast. Also, when asked for more quantity, we were told that it was chargeable. This could be listed on the site itself at the time of booking, so the customers are aware prior to booking the property.

The villa was very beautiful and comfortable. It included breakfast and Putu the Cook was very friendly and menú accommodating, it was always delicioso. The villa also has a private driver service that can take you every where you want to go and he can charge per single ride service or you can hire him for a full day 6 to 10 hours. The driver name is also Putu and he just lives next door for grester convenience. He is also excellent and could help you plan a full itinerary of places to show you with excellent choices where to eat.

The only bit of inconvenience was that it was not on one of the main roads for walking and shopping but again having the driver next door compensated for that specially since his fee was very affordable and the heat outside was quite bad to be walking around.

Lovely spacious villa and pool area, the chef Putu made us decent breakfast every morning and he was very kind and polite.

The beds were very hard, the pillows too high for my liking and the AC was just above the bed which made sleeping with AC on very cold. The location required us to have to book a taxi every time as the access by foot on the hilly and poorly lit roads would have been unsafe for pedestrians.

Property is beautiful. It is located only a short drive away from Ubud centre, which costs between £3-£5 per taxi ride. The on site driver Putu is available to take you whenever you wish and pick you up for a good price. The Villa is fantastic and the pool lovely. We were extremely happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Breakfast very good. The servant (named Putuh) very friendly and helpful, the entire property very clean and well maintained, location very peaceful in a traditional Balinese neighborhood. Easy rental of a scooter. Kitchen well equipped. Fine pool.

Good view over a wide open field, only no green rice terrace, due to problems with the irrigation only a brown unspectacular area.

It was indeed a quiet place, and the one that I really enjoyed at this place was the host. The host and his family were so welcoming and helpful and seriously, the hospitability was excellent. The place is serene and despite located in a busy town the Villa really offered peace and calmness.

Great villa, very clean and we loved the private pool area. The staff (Putu and Putu) were great and always available to drive us wherever we wanted to go at a good price. Also having the breakfast cooked fresh every day was great.

Beds are quite firm, good for me but others didn’t like it so much

Laid back and relaxing! Beautiful location and facilities. Service was top notch, especially Putu, the butler.

Could have been even better with a couple more options for breakfast, but we were always happy with the available options and they were delicious.
