Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, good food

Beautiful hotel facilities with a lot of flowers, a public area with chess, kicker, backgammon stone tables & a beautiful pool with a nice view of rice terraces. The room was nice and spacious with a beautiful marble floor and a great air conditioner & minibar. Amazing staff who tries to help where they can and even try to fulfill extra wishes. I extended my stay from 2-4 nights, because I like this place so much. (I was living in the Deluxe Double Room)

The pillow on my balcony chair was dirty and should be replaced. The roofs are beautifully made from straw, but the gap between the walls and the roof should be sealed so that no animals can enter. I had some Geckos and a few insects inside. The problems are not a big deal though.

ILA was a gorgeous complex of rooms and apartments that made you feel like you were staying in a tree house right in the middle of the forest. Staff were lovely and helpful. Room was clean and smelled nice on arrival. Location brilliant, only a 8 minute scoot away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud centre so close enough to access anything you wanted but far enough so you didn’t have the noise all the time. Pool was lovely and refreshing and kept clean.

Although the thatched roof is stunning, it obviously isn’t 100% water tight, we didn’t have any issues with a leak but there had been a hole in the roof prior to our stay which had been mended but due to the damp around it bits of ‘thatch’ did occasionally fall onto the bed. As you are right in the middle of gorgeous trees and vegetation you are going to have a fair few ants and bugs around the place so just make sure you dont leave food out.

Our stay at this villa in Ubud was absolutely wonderful. The facilities were top-notch, beautifully maintained, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect retreat, yet it was still conveniently close to the center, allowing us to explore Ubud with ease. The combination of tranquility and accessibility made this villa an ideal choice. Whether you want to unwind in a serene setting or immerse yourself in Ubud’s vibrant culture, this place offers the best of both worlds. We highly recommend it and would love to come back!

Our stay at Ila Villa was absolutely fantastic! The ambiance was serene and romantic—perfect for our honeymoon. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, making every meal a delight. A special shoutout to Anik, who was incredibly helpful and attentive to all our needs and requests. The thoughtful setup in our villa truly touched our hearts and made our stay even more memorable. We’ll surely miss this beautiful retreat and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and heartfelt getaway!

We stayed in villa. The whole concept is beautiful and tranquil. The villa are stacked next to each other which is ok for this short trip. Balcony facing the back, pool is underneath the balcony and garden was beautiful. Love sound of flowing water. Bed and furniture are good. Facilities are basic as expected from villa accommodation, all necessities available. Staff very attentive to our needs, thank you.

Minor wear and tear is expected and tolerable. Insects is part of nature and expected in Ubud area, embrace it.

The location is great because is near Ubud center (not a walking distance!) but in a quiet area. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly trying to accommodate the needs. I extended my stay twice.

The room I stayed the two first nights was moldy and smelled bad (the island naturally is very humid), despite it was a great room I requested to change, and the staff did it very quickly. The pool could be cleaner, but it is nice.

There was an awful smell in the room right from where we checked in. It smelled like mould, the odor from the shower area was also really bad. With regards to the cleaning, they only did it when we asked which was weird. The breakfast was a bit bland as well but still appreciated
