Jati Cottage is a haven amongst the busyness of the streets around. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good location - many cafes and restaurants not too far away. I had a room on the ground floor with a sofa (as shown in the photos). Note that rooms on higher floors don’t have the sofa, so if that’s important to you, ask about it. I was able to move down after one night in an upper floor room.

The pool is small and there were always a lot of children there in the afternoons. The breakfast buffet is a bit limited.

The friendliest staff in Ubud

There was renovation work ongoing every day which meant chilling by the pool was not really feasible due to the constant noise. We also had issues with hot water almost every day of our stay - continuously had to call reception to send someone to look into it.

Beautiful gardens and rooms, lovely pool and the staff were very nice. Bed was really comfortable!

Nothing to not like about it, It is a short walk to all of the restaurants and shops but as a solo female, I felt very safe walking there at night! maybe the Roosters are not that loveable early in the morning but they are very common in Ubud so perhaps use the ear plugs that they kindly supply!

It's about a 8-10 minute walk to the centre, gets a little dark at night to walk back. I was travelling alone, so was a bit cautious. But if you are with someone or have rented a 2/4 wheeler its a quick 2 minute ride to the centre. Breakfast could be better

The staff were really helpful, always smile, and carry our bag all the time(when check in, check out and even switch rooms). The first two days we stay in big double room, which is quiet and big, pretty good for 4 person family. Next door is laundry(Perdikan Laundry) service，and a fantastic Spa just next door ( Pertenin Body Care)。 Just walk out and turn right. Pretty convenient location, just 15mints walk to canter Ubud palace and market.

The swimming pool is big and delightful, however the water contains too much chemicals, may cause a little bit uncomfortable. Otherwise everything is good, the price is great for such a cozy hotel.

Perfect location within walking distance of Monkey Forest Road etc. The staff are exceptional. Classified as a three star hotel but providing five star service. The hotel’s mantra is this is your home for the duration of the stay and it feels that way. Comfortable rooms, good swimming pool , the spa offers a variety of different treatments at very reasonable prices for a hotel. The restaurant has a wide choice of quality cooked Asian or Western dishes. But again I come back to the staff, extraordinarily kind and engaging. A superb find which makes your Balinese experience extra special.

Nothing. From the gardens to the bedrooms and everything in between , the hotel is just a perfect oasis from the hustle and bustle of Ubud.

Perfect location in the heart of Ubud and close to Yoga Barn (which is why I chose to stay here). Value for money and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The newly renovated rooms with terrace in front of the pool I really liked. Spacious and light room with big bathroom. I wold definitely come back.

A lot of construction work was done in front of the reception and restaurant area which is why I didn’t use the restaurant at the hotel. The rooms close to the road was quite noisy but I changed room during my stay and loved the new one.

Jati cottages is an amazing place to stay while visiting Ubud. The staff made our stay so special with expert care and attention at each and every point of the stay. They helped with everything you could need, they make this place extra special, especially the reception staff. The rooms are clean, spacious, and super comfortable. The location is a short walk to the Main Street in Ubud and very close to Yoga Barn. There are nice restaurants close by also. The decorations and garden are superb and well maintained. The pool area is really nice and is serviced by the restaurant. Although the number of rooms are limited so book in advance.

Very strange that you do not have coffee with breakfast or tea. You have to buy it separately. Location is ok, but quite far from center, closest gym is 1+ km (not good gym). Prices for food in the restaurant of the hotel - too high for such 3 stars hotel. Just on the corner there are good cafe with large assortment and better prices…

Absolutely amazing place smack in the middle of center and 5 min walk to yoga barn( for those whom it is important) courteous lovely staff so helpful in all ways, excellent breakfast and wonderful rooms with comfy beds and nice design. Especially the upper rooms on top of separate houses from main building. Beautiful pool and so quiet and peaceful despite central location. Stayed 10 nights and rebooked for another 7. Best hotel! They also got very reasonably priced spa on the location. Super great.
