fabulous hotel. all the staff are friendly and very helpful. the pool is large enough to get some lengths in. the rooms are relatively modern and clean. we really enjoyed our stay here. we also took advantage of the spa facility and got a full body massage which was epic.

- beautiful pool, garden and common area - incredibly kind staff, who organized a scooter superquick and were always friendly and super helpful with everything - especially Sonia! - Spacious room complete with a mosquito net, mini fridge, tea and coffee options and a super comfy bed! - Breakfast was delicious and fresh with three options to choose from (continental, American and indonesian) with fresh fruit and fruitjuices - we loved the location - super calm in the ricefields and therefor very relaxing, but just a quick scooterride away from Ubud and sightseeing spots - spa staff was super sweet as well and the Balinese massage and the facial was a much needed bliss

Kailash is the best. Very welcoming Staff, ready to help you any time. We had to change rooms because we extended our stay, it was always clean, the rooms were cleaned every day and the bed was made impeccably. The pool was clean, the food was good, the massage was pleasant and sweet Coffee. Taxi service available. Scooter rental available. Spa available. 24h Staff available. We felt like home.

The water pressure in the shower was a little weak in the first room, the bathrooms have mold, but it's absolutely normal in an area where the humidity is around 80%. Restaurant service a bit slow, but that’s how it’s everywhere is Bali, they make sure that everything is carefully prepared for you.

My friend and I had a great stay at Kailash Suites. We loved the location, it is on the edge of a small village, set amongst lush trees and farm land, its very peaceful and tranquil. The pool area surpassed out expectations, it was a very nice area to relax and cool off. We both had massages while we were there in the on site spa which were very good. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was also very spacious with great water pressure. It is about is decent drive outside of Ubud, there is a lovely waterfall within walking distance of the hotel. To get to Ubud we used Grab taxi's to get in and out which were very fairly priced and quick and easy to use.

As the location of the hotel is in quite a rural setting, there aren't many restaurants nearby to easily walk to. The hotel does have a restaurant however, as a vegetarian the food options were extremely limited. I think it would be beneficial to research and introduce some good quality vegetarian options to the menu.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming at any point of the day. Food was good with a limited breakfast offering. Rooms were cleaned everyday and were a good size with very comfy bed, fridge stocked everyday. Pool was clean and refreshing. Location perfect for those wanting to stay away from the craziness of Ubud. Local Waterfall called Uma Anya with their helpful guides was a highlight, walling distance from the property.

Limited breakfast menu, bacon very small but with us only staying for 4 nights it wasn't a issue, other breakfast items like the pancakes were incredible. Couldn't escape the ants by the pool but this seems to be the way in Bali.

Very good, new spacious rooms, nice furniture, robes, design, swimming pool. Good restaurant with price better than in Ubud. Fantastic bed- convenient to sleep! Very clean in the rooms and all over hotel.The staff is gorgeous. All are very helpful, but Sonya- is the best!! Very good location for relaxing as there is nothing nearby,even no big roads,cars,etc

The hotel is really far from the center. About 30 minutes by motorbike. The grab bike to get one way is about 27 000 Idr= around 2 usd. The car is about 150 one way. If you hire bike or car by yourself- it is even better for you to travel from there- no traffic.

A really beautiful resort near Ubud, a very quiet and relaxing place. The staff is always friendly and helpful with everything. I loved the big and clean pool. My room was big and clean, beautiful bathroom and a fantastic view from my balcony. I had the great luck to join the blessing ceremony for the building so I could learn a lot about Balinese culture. Thanks for inviting me! I have chosen this resort to calm down far from the crowded places and so it was. I booked massages that were good to fair prices. The meals in the restaurant were delicious and cheap. And always, it was too calm for me I took the scooter or a driver to visit Ubud which is a 15 minute drive away.

There could be more vegetarian or even vegan options on the menu, but that doesn't matter - the staff always prepared vegetarian versions of the dishes for me.

We had the most wonderful stay at Kailash Suites and ended up staying for double the amount of time we had originally planned. The staff were absolutely incredible and made us feel really at home and even allowed us to become a part of some of their traditions. The rooms are beautiful and filled with daylight. We had everything we needed. It is outside Ubud Centre, which we personally loved because it was a lot more quiet around this area and everywhere was really easy to get to via scooter. Would totally recommend and we will definitely be back!

Nothing! But you definitely need a scooter to get around, as it’s a bit outside of central Ubud.

Everything. We loved our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. We tried to book again for our last few nights in Bali but it was full. We will return.

Nothing to dislike. The only downside was having to leave. My only criticism is breakfast starts very late, especially when you have two small children who are up at 5 and you want to go out exploring. Other than that our stay was wonderful.

The staff at the property was so friendly at check-in and during the whole stay. Ms. Sonia was very helpful. The area is very aesthetic, and the pool is lovely.

The location is great for this calm area, but if you mostly spend time in the centre of Ubud you better choose another place. The variety at the restaurant is not so extensive. And you may find geckos in your room.
