we got a little trouble with check in by our mistake but stuff fix everything there so nice big pool clean rooms but I recommend to get villa rooms we had both service are great and good location in Ubud amazing spa and Restaurant ! Food there sooo good , we stay extra few nights because we felt like home Made take care about us we stay with friends we got flowers pool we got nice romantic dinner there we love to stay in hotel

We had a great time at the Kalyana Resort. We booked two nights and honestly, we wished we had booked longer. We came straight from the airport - so took just over an hour or so. We booked a private pool villa which is a must! The room is gorgeous and spacious, the bed was super comfy and quite big and the pool was amazing. The location of the property is about 20 mins by taxi (or we used GRAB) to Ubud which is fine. We preferred to be out of the hustle and bustle of Ubud and it suited us to be in a quieter more lush area. The hotel restaurant was great and all the staff were so lovely. We saw a floating pool breakfast one morning, and booked it for the next morning which was incredible! It was an extra $10 AUD but SO worth it. Just gorgeous presentation and delicious food. We didn't get to try the spa unfortunately but the services all looked amazing. Overall we would highly recommend Kalyana and hoping to come back in the future!

We enjoyed the stay in the Kalyana Ubud Resort very much. Our room had this awesome view over the rice fields. It was clean and the staff very friendly and caring. The pool is surrounded by plants. Just awesome go swimming there in the morning. Breakfast first class. They even deliver to the room. Staff always a helping hand carry luggage. We would have liked it to stay longer but it was booked out for the next days. So I recommend all visitors to plan some extra days there. We moved to a place next door, but we were invited to keep unsing the pool for free for the next days. So a big THANK YOU for this. We come back. Definitely :)..... Also to recommend. The Restaurant Sacred Rice next to the Kalyana in the ricefield. Great Asian Tapas. Extrodinary.

The location of this Hotel is perfect. it's in a quiet location so feels very relaxing. it's about 25 minute walk to the centre or you can grab a bike for very cheap. Breakfast is lovely and the staff are helpful and flexible with the menu. The snack menu is really nice and I'd recommend the spring rolls. Cocktails are nice too. breakfast was traditional Bali ear or full American style as well as a continental option. We had a deluxe double room. it is very big and the bathroom also has loads of room. very clean and comfortable. The pool was the main attraction for us as it is refreshing but not freezing when you get in. Staff were very accommodating, we would recommend this hotel to future guests.

It's a nice hotel with a big and amazing swimming pool. They proposed also massages. I tried one and it was very good. Also near by there is another beautiful spa place. There are few restaurants near by as well. The hotel is a little bit far away from Ubud. But the taxi is available.

The breakfast is the only thing should be improved in our opinion. The portions are big but better to make accent on quality and diversity and not quantity. Also I think cappuccino and other coffee drinks (for 4 star hotel as they claimed) should be included in a price and not for extra charge.

The hotel is beautiful. The gardens, pool and views are amazing. Breakfast was yum and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are very clean, big and spacious, and are furnished beautifully. Would recommend.

Unfortunately we had some noisy neighbours - the walls are very thin and we could hear them throughout the night. The showers are beautiful, but a shower screen or curtain would be helpful to avoid water splashing everywhere. Also be aware of the location as transport will be required to get around.

I spent two weeks at the Kalyana and was very happy with my stay. I wanted something comfortable and quite and it was perfect. I found it easy to get around to central Ubud from this location but also appreciated it being in a more quiet area. The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. I ate at the restaurant a few times, the service was fast and the food was tasty. It felt like an oasis and I was sad when it was time to leave. I've happily recommended it to my friends and would absolutely return again.

Breakfast and the location.

This resort is situated in the beautiful jungle in Ubud. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets of Ubud. We could select items from both the English and Continental breakfast which was more than sufficient. The staff were extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. The massages and beauty treatments were cheap and very professional. There are many tourist destinations near Ubud , we booked a private car (500 rupiahs per day :8-10 hours). There are small shops close by to purchase water and milk.

The sliding door of our room was constantly stuck. The bathroom door was not closing . There are no hooks to hang your clothing /towels in the bathroom. The toilet roll holder is close to the open shower so we had to move the toilet roll. The towels were very grey and old (but this seems to be the standard in Indonesia -same in other hotels ).
