Amazing place to stay, staff and customer service by far the highlight

I think Gdas need to provide more transparency on their website and on this forum that the wellness centre is not available and under construction until 2023. Gdas is a beautiful place and the price is well discounted at the moment however I think it’s a bit sneaky representing the place and offerings as fully functional when there is a significant development underway. The Bali Eden is not operational, so please if you are booking this accom to access these facilities please note they are not open

Gdas has stolen our hearts from the moment we arrived. We went to Bali for the first time and Gdas really represents the finest of the finest in Bali. We already know for a fact (can you imagine? This is our third day in Bali). The smiles and lovely care on the faces of the Gdas workers gave us a unwritten memory of a second family. From the perfect breakfast to the sweet deserts in our room they surprised us with (every day!), but also the shuttle trips to the Ubud market and the perfect temperature of the bubble bath….. also the Pandan/citrus bath they made in our room….. speechless! Listen to our words: Treat yourself with the best, in Gdas you will find rest. Thanks for this memory Mr Akash and Mrs Jane

Absolutely nothing

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The personalised service from all the staff (who addressed me personally) was next to nothing. The staff were always eager to make my family and I feel comfortable and ensured we had everything that was needed. The service was outstanding. No request is ever too much for the Balanese, they are such wonderful people. It was my families first time eating vegan and we were most pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was outstanding. The spa was incredible!!! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her massage and scrub. Pool side was great. Just perfect for the little ones. My children were adorned by all the staff. My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Gdas. It felt like home!!! A HUGE shout out to Lolita, Ari and Juli. My daughter really took a shine to both Lolita and Ari and has named two of her Balanese teddies after the ladies. A massive thank you to Gdas for making our stay one to remember!!!

I was skeptical my kids would accept vegan breakfasts but they were fine: healthy, nutritious and diversified. However, meat-seeking consumers will have limited options to have some sought for options in the vicinity / walking distance of the hotel. However, Ubud is close plus the hotel provides free of charge shuttle service to/from Ubud so definitely it helps. Very comfy hotel, though I would not say it's an obvious destination for a family with kids.

Some of ground floor rooms may have a view obstructed by the construction site across the ditch however this is a temporary inconvenience.

We liked everything. The hotel staff is very attentive. The hotel is under construction right now so keep that in mind.

An absolute gem. Everything about this place is perfect. I don’t know how to post a review without it sounding like it comes straight from management, but we just adored this place. It was the highlight of our trip to Bali. Service was as good as I’ve ever experienced at a hotel/resort. The room was beautiful and clean. The restaurant had the most amazing food. And they even host free little events sometimes in the evenings. We made drinks one day and offering another with the most kind and beautiful people guiding us. As nice and beautiful as everything is here, it’s the people who work there who make it so special. Everyone greets you with a smile, and most greet you by name, regardless of whether you’ve met them or not. Just a truly special place.

We spent a week stay at Gdas Bali. We were surrounded by beauty, inspired by local culture and nature combined. Our room was simply exquisite, from the tasteful decor, divine bathroom with, a beautiful balcony view, and dreamy bed! The hotel was still under construction, but it wasn’t bothering my stay. A friendly hotel driver Mang De picked me up at the airport, and during my stay, the staffs were very attentive and helpful. I was asked for a day purification tour, and they help us a lot, they arrange everything for my trip.  Definitely will come back again once their hotel is fully open!

The hotel is gorgeous and very cozy at the same time. So much care about guests, I was impressed and totally relaxed. The facilities are excellent, I liked swimming pool and hot tub. Design of hole place is stylish and has local vibe, I liked it. My room was comfortable, clean and have really nice view to the rice field. Staff is friendly and it was a pleasure to communicate with them. Thank you so much for such wonderful time in Bali.

My last journey to Bali ended at Gdas Bali. It’s a soft-opening hotel located in Ubud. Still unbelieve I had a very wonderful experience and an amazing stay! The staff are very superb and attentive. The restaurant provides plant-based authentic Balinese food, Nasi Oong Metunu is my favorite! Everything didn’t taste like vegan dish; they were all delicious! The consultation with Dewi the wellness expert was very pleasant. Morning Meditation and Yoga class were so relaxing. Will come back to experience their wellness center!
