Staff are super friendly and always ready to assist. They cleaned the room every day so as the swimming pool. They have their own restaurant on the premises, which is convenient if you don't want to walk back again in Ubud centre. Cars aren't accessible to the hotel as its in the middle of the ricefield, although gojek or motorcycles are okay, but that's the beauty of this area,you can enjoy a very relaxing walk. Ubud Centre, Campuhan Ridge Walk, Blanco Museum, Ubud Palace are just 10 to 15 minutes by walking.

The swimming pool area needs improvement. It has no fixed fences. Breakfast is included in my room rate, but they don't have variety to choose from apart from pancakes, fruits or juices.

AMAZING! We loved our stay. It’s a very peaceful villa with just a few rooms in the middle of rice fields, very close to Ubud city center (can be reached by foot). The room was quite spacious, as well as the bathroom, and clean. Breakfast was nice, simple and just what you need to start the day. Candra and the rest of the staff are super nice and kind. I would definitely book this place again! Super recommended.

Absolutely nothing! Just be aware that the bathroom has an open roof so there might be insects. This wasn’t a problem at all for us, but some people might find it uncomfortable.

I had an absolutely unreal experience staying at Ubud Shanti Rice Field House. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The host went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. The location is perfect—close enough to the city center to explore easily but just far enough to enjoy the serene tranquility of the rice fields. Waking up to the view was magical. The breakfast was delightful, with fresh fruits and juice that were a perfect start to the day. The swimming pool was an oasis, providing a refreshing escape after exploring Ubud. This place is a true gem, blending convenience with a peaceful atmosphere. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely return when I’m in Ubud again!

Everything was perfect

Lovely really friendly small hotel. We had a room on the top floor with a private balcony and my partner and I both said the two rooms on the top floor are definitely the best as they feel so much more private. Candra and the team were very friendly & the room had everything we needed. It’s set back off the main road and not accessible by car but they meet you on the main road with motorbikes to help with luggage and take you up to the hotel. We said it offered the best of both worlds as you’re surrounded by beautiful rice fields but just a short (about 15 minute) walk down the path and you’re on the main road with lots of bars/restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again. We also walked to Monkey Forest, took about 50 minutes but lots of people walk in Ubud and we enjoy walking but you can easily get a taxi or bike.

Great location, quiet area, good walking trail, not big villa so not too many guests, great staff, friendly, loved the cap cay veg dish, breakfast was good. Good pool, nice area by the pool, very helpful and welcoming place. Good service, clean, would recommend for short or long stay, alone or with company.

I had some difficulty with the wi fi speed which was important for me. I am not sure if it was my device though as the staff showed me 50/ down on their devices. I had an old laptop and an iphone, but struggled to get good speed for whatever reason, getting more like 15/ down. Anyway, was able to persevere.

Breakfast was delicious & plentiful- lots of variety- choice of Balinese, Indonesian or western breakfast eg 2eggs cooked how you wish, with boiled potato, beans, garlic toast , plate of fresh fruit- watermelon, pineapple, papaya, dragonfruit & choice of fresh juice or fresh coconut juice with tea or coffee View of rice fields and pool area was lovely. Restaurant was on main bike road- saw locals & tourists passing by. Opposite was yoga centre. Pool was refreshing on hot days—towels provided. Location away from huddle & bustle of main road with cars, motorcycles everywhere & tourists shopping at many market stalls & clothing shops, eateries & temples. Staff were so kind, helpful with gentle, warm nature. They picked us up from main road & back when needed with pleasure.

Mosquitos or tiny insects were in bedroom and got many insect bites all over arms despite using repellent & they did have electric mosquito device to plug into wall. Bed sheets not changed daily, and not very clean- found some stains on them.

A true gem of peace and quiet in the rice fields. An easy 10 minute walk to Ubud town along a bikes-only lane adds to the relief from the hubbub of Ubud centre. Spotlessly clean, modern bathroom and bedroom decor with spacious terrace or balcony. Set in a garden with rice field views and a small but perfect pool. Staff are an absolute delight, very responsive and helpful. Adjoining family Warung serves yummy breakfast choices and delicious Balinese and Indonesian dishes throughout the day and evening.

Mattress was very very firm, not uncommon in Bali but I had to add some padding.

Lovely staff, nice location, cute garden, enjoyable pool. Nice breakfast options. We had a large room, good aircon, good wifi, safety box, shelf space, room had windows around 2 sides, but the curtains were good and nights were silent, so could sleep well. In the rice fields surrounding the premise we saw many fireflies, which was very cool.

The bed was really creaky, it was comfortable to lay in, but every movement came with noise... The bathroom was with open roof over the shower, which was funny, could get used to it, downside is that it had the outside temperature and the risk of getting mosquito bites while on the toilet.

Really good and pleasant staff, ready to help you with everything you need (e.g. to book some hikings or to rent scooters). The location is PERFECT, outside the cahotic Ubud center, but still 10min by walk to the main roads (3 mins by scooter). Surrounded by rice fields, creating a relaxing environment and providing an astonishing view. Local Warung from there is excellent, you can feel the high quality of the ingredients. There are a lot of local restaurants and activites nearby, also a place were we actually had some Yoga classes! Absolutely recommended.

Excellent stay at Ubud Ashanti Rice Field, room was spacious and clean, lovely pool area, breakfast was delicious, there is a water dispenser to fill up your bottle and the staff are exceptional. I was contacted as we landed as we had booked an airport transfer and the process could not of been smoother. The team then met us at the main road (as cars can’t get to the property) on bikes to take us and our bags. Excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble for Candra who was just an excellent host! Thank you so much!
