Lovely room and good size with 2 chairs and a table. Modern and stylish. Nice towels in bathroom. Nice public park nearby. Food I had at breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices for vegetarians. Staff were all very attentive and friendly. Price was very good value for quality but I know prices can be double what I paid at busier times. Food choice in bar area was limited for vegetarians so I had a starter of soup and a sweet only- these were good value too. Excellent car parking facilities for free in the centre of town which is useful. Will revisit when next in this area. Did not need to pay anything until arrival.
Only issue really was the noise levels. On the Sunday night, there was a country dance evening in the area below my room- one floor down. I was advised about this when checking in and could have attended it for free as a hotel guest. It was not crazy volume but had to accept trying to go to sleep would be difficult until it finished at midnight. Thankfully I had things to do so this was not a problem. Perhaps advising guests of this would be helpful when booking. On the following night, there was no music but there seemed plenty of loud voices coming from the area below my room at ground level and these did not dissipate until after midnight. I suppose it’s a hotel in the centre of a Town and I had been used to staying in quieter areas before here.

Stayed in the apartments which are very spacious and had a nice view of the park. They contain a little kitchen with toaster and microwave, which are handy. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is really nice, lots of choice and service is great. Its situated in the town with free parking for hotel residents and the town is easy to walk around and has some nice coffee shops. If driving Belvedere House and Gardens is 10 minutes away and a beautiful spot.
Some of the furniture is outdated and the large wooden bedframes in the bedrooms are awkward with sharp corners and need to be replaced with less bulky modern bases. Floors are wooden, so it can be noisy from people above.

Hotel was great and the staff very welcoming and friendly .brilliant staff. Only thing was I look for omelets 2 days in a row too be told the chef couldn't make them . That's was a pity 😕. Only for that the hotel was great .you should be very proud of your bar staff .restaurant staff and reception staff .
We ask for omelets 2days in a row to be told that the chef couldn't make them for us .bad for the kitchen. That's was a disappointment for us as we heard so much about the hotel. The breakfast chef's let you down .the bar food and evening food was great. 9 out of 1

Annebrook house was very nice. I had booked a deluxe double but decided to upgrade for a balcony and got a full 2-bedroom apartment for only a little more money. The apartments are in a building next to the main hotel where the restaurant and pub are located. The parking was in a parking garage under the apartment building and there was an elevator in the center which was easily accessible. There were three beds total in the apartment. In the "main" bedroom, we had a double bed and our own bathroom with a shower and a tub. The second bedroom had a double bed and a single bed along with another bathroom with a walk-in shower. The living/dining/kitchen spaces were combined and open. The couch and the chair in the living area were so comfortable. There was a small refrigerator with a freezer as well as a clothes washing machine. The balcony was small but it was still a balcony, but there were no chairs to sit out on it. I loved the windows and wish I could get some like that for my house. If you turn the handle one way, they tilt open at the top or you turn the handle a different way and swing them wide open. The door to the balcony was the same. They were great! We ate dinner at the pub. I had the pasta special and it was delicious. The staff in the pub, the restaurant, and the hotel were very friendly. Our breakfast was nice, they had an offering of different hot foods: fried or scrambled eggs, sausages or Irish bacon, toast, as well as some pastries, etc.
It would be nice if the balcony had a little cafe table and a couple of chairs so that people could sit out there with a drink and enjoy the fresh air. Also, the water tank was a bit loud, but there's not much you can do about that.

Apartment was spotlessly clean, loads of space staff very friendly from check in to check out ..breakfast was delicious plenty of choice for everyone, location brilliant plenty of parking very well run hotel with great staff especially the lovely man at breakfast who made pancakes for the girls and gave them the 'VIP ' area that really made their stay
Stayed in apartment spotlessly clean unfortunately the mattress in the main bedroom was not comfortable you could feel the springs through the mattress upgrade needed and there seemed to be a water tank right next door to bedroom ,the door was locked so couldn't check the noise was bad throughout the nite little to no sleep...kids slept soundly in the other room thankfully

Attractive, with clear water fast moving creek between the hotel and a nice park. Easy parking. Spacious room and superbly comfortable bed. A large balcony overlooking the park. A glazed window in our bathroom for fresh air. Delicious full breakfast in a warm, inviting restaurant in the historic stone house area of the hotel.
We were surprised by loud live music in the late afternoon, which turned out to be a wedding band doing a showcase performance below us. We closed our windows but could still hear the heavy bass and percussion. Thankfully we went to dinner in town and the music was over on our return. It would have been nice if the front desk had mentioned it at our checkin at 4 pm.

Breakfast was very good, and the waiting staff was very helpful. I was a little surprised by the steep but small staircase, but it had a ramp which I appreciated and allow me to access it (I walk with a cane). The server was very helpful and brought my train and everything to me. The hot food was hot and tasted nice.
The only issue I had with my stay, and it is why I gave a nine rather than a 10 rating was the extremely loud, thumping music that came from probably the bar. It didn't start until 9:30 pm and kept going until nearly midnight. I was on the second floor, and I could still feel the thumping while trying to sleep. They were still going at 11 pm when I finally got to sleep - so either a lower volume on the bands or better sound proofing would make this hotel a perfect 10! As it was it was pretty darn good and I intend to stay there again.

We were greeted by a very friendly man at the desk on arrival! We checked in with no hassle. The staff at breakfast the next morning were exceptional, especially the manager (unfortunately we didn't get his name but he was brilliant!) The room exceeded our expectations, we book an apartment for three people but easily could have fit more! Over all definitely exceeded my expectations, especially when I forgot I needed to pay at checkout! (apologies again!) they were very easy and understanding about it all!
There was one staff member upon arrival who was not so friendly, we asked her could she book a taxi for us and it seemed to be a great effort, with a slight sigh.

The apartments were perfect for a group of us. The staff went above and beyond for us. There was a man who walked us from the reception to our apartment at night when we came home which was so lovely. The next morning we didn’t want to go down for breakfast as we were hungover and I phoned the hotel to see if we could get breakfast to the room and the man I was speaking to at the restaurant was so lovely and accommodating and sent us up 5 delicious breakfasts to our room which was amazing. I was honestly blown away by the customer service - Amazing!!
I banged my leg off the bed frame corner and it actually really hurt. Did it by accident but they are very pointy!
