Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and delicious scones, what a bonus ! Dinner was very good with exception of a very cold goats cheese starter.. i would not order that again Room was comfortable and what a surprise to get an upgrade to a mountain view room , superb ! Facilities and location are second to none

Likely one of the best hotel stays ever. We loved our room, facilities and food. We originally booked for two days and ended up extending for a day. We spent a lot of time in the room, which was fairly spacious and ordered food in, which was delightful. Great support from staff. We left with good memories

One tiny thing that stood out because everything else was so great. For the in room catering. Sometimes we were offered to have the hot food out on the table, sometimes not. It would be good to have consistency there and have all persons offering the option to get the hot food out. When this option was offered to us, it really made a difference

Powerscourt is a luxury comfort home from home.. the views and my favourite thing is the beds here they are the best! Staff were lovely all welcoming and helpful. Food and beverages on the pricey side due to the bar grill being closed for renovations! but certainly needs an indoor kids play room!

My only criticisms Are 1. No kettle in room or milk for tea now I did phone down and they provided both but surely they should be a staple not everyone drinks coffee.. 2. Possibly an area for kids needed indoors like tv colouring in etc a welcome addition outside is the small play area 3. Missed McGill’s due to renovations for new bar and grill

Room beautiful & spacious . Very calm and relaxing environment. Beautiful scenery, we were very lucky with the weather on our stay, blue skies and sunshine. Which made availing of the complimentary bicycles a joy. Dinner and drinks and an amazing singer in the Sally Gap bar was a fantastic evening. Breakfast on the terrace was sublime. Great selection of food and everything fresh. Definitely allow at least an hour or so for this.

Very little to say but if really being picky, at dinner, the butter was frozen and when we asked for some softer butter to be brought out , it was also frozen. The menu listed the ingredients on their wagu burgers, but came out with extra on them, which when your a conservative eater and were after specifying what you didnt want on your burger was a bit annoying. Our waiter "fluffed" our orders and was quite slow and forgetful, although extremely nice and polite. As I said picky but , you would expect a lot more attention to detail in a hotel of this standard. It didn't spoil our experience but did leave me a bit miffed.

There are so many positive things to comment on. We loved our room - especially our nice big walk in wardrobe and bathroom. The calming colours, the cleanliness, the spaciousness were all here (alot of the times in other hotels something is lacking but not here). We ate dinner at the Sally Gap, I was very impressed with how smooth everything ran especially as they had only just re-opened. The food was delicious - my veg burger was the best I have ever eaten (and I've eaten many), my Mum had steak and it was cooked exactly as she requested. Breakfast was perfect, as I like fresh fruit and coffee and my Mum enjoys a hot breakfast so both our needs were met. I absolutely loved the pool where I enjoyed a quiet adult only morning swim. Every single member of staff we interacted with were friendly yet professional, I wish all hospitality staff could be like this! I can honestly say this was one of the best short break hotel experiences I've ever had.

There is nothing I didn't like.

Pretty much everything. I did not use the spa facilities but anyone in my group who did thought they were excellent. The cartons of water that were freely available were a super idea and more hotels should do likewise. Very good breakfast. If I was to be critical of anything it would be the scone I had on arrival…….not good!

The scone and if I am to be totally honest the coffee in the bar upstairs wasn’t great either. The lovely server at breakfast got me two machine coffees which were excellent. The handle on the hand held shower came off in my hand and their was no toilet brush in the room but both these issues were dealt with v efficiently.

Hotel was very clean and facilities were fantastic

Left a sour taste in my mouth that in the room there is drinks and snacks left there which is good and a price list for each item, but one item was fercullen whiskey gift set of three small bottles. They are from the powerscourt distillery so you'd assume its cheaper than standard price but this was not the case. On the price list this small gift set was down for €95, but if you go online to buy it it's only €25.95, that's an extra €69.05 which is scandalous

-Very Very Clean, Room was absolutely Spotless. -Room was Brilliant, very spacious. -Staff were very friendly. -Lovely Walk around the Grounds of the Hotel. -Nice to Have a Bath and Shower.

-Breakfast was OK. No Milk jug on Table, no Butter Dish. Had to Wait 25 minutes for a pot of Tea and had to ask 4 times for it. When the Tea came, no Cups or milk. Had to ask for Cups and milk, Cups came but no milk, had to ask for Milk again. Sausages was very overdone and poor choice of Fruit and cereals at Breakfast. -Pillows too soft.

Loved the hotel, room was out of this world. Over looking scenic gardens, valleys with Sugar Mountain in the distance. Managed to fit in Golf on the West Course and a great Whiskey Tour at the Distillery.

Actually breakfast was the one area it fell down. Staff seemed out of their depth when faced with a simple question. Not the best smiley faces either. The following days spent at Druids Glen knocked your breakfast and the staff out of the park.
