The hotel was amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was given some numbers for taxi services to take us back to the hotel. When I rang them all, they didn't answer. I then phoned the hotel, as they said if there was any difficulty, to phone them and they would sort it. Unfortunately, through no fault of the hotel, they were unable to, leaving us stranded in a town we don't know, unable to get back to the hotel until the early hours of the morning. I feel that a hotel like this should have some business account linked to a taxi firm that will accommodate the residents. This was a scary experience for us, one that has put us off repeating.

Room was great, friendly staff who professionally sorted booking issue re Booking dot com problem. Bar was well equipped and staffed and we had a very good bar meal on the 2nd night. The views were excellent as was the forest walk at the end of the car park.

Cooked buffet breakfast was very poor. Looked and tasted like it was carried forward from the previous day. Continental was basic but ok, but not much better. We went into Bray for breakfast the 2nd morning of our stay and had a superb cooked Irish at a 2/3rd of the price!

Staff were brilliant. There was a mix up with the two rooms we had booked but the lady behind the desk was excellent and found us two great adjoining rooms with a door between them at very short notice which we were very grateful for. Breakfast staff were also very attentive as were the staff in the leisure centre so all round was as easy as an experience can be for a family of 4 with two kids under 3yrs old! Thank you all

The place was located in a beautiful area that was easily accessible by car. The hotel was very comfortable, quiet and clean. My partner and I used the pool when we were there which was a bonus to the relaxation. There is also a sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub. We will definitely be back.

There were some flies floating in the outdoor hot tub which is understandable considering we were surrounded by trees but I would have preferred if it was a bit cleaner or there was some sort of net preventing them coming into it.

Good size room. Plenty of parking (the hotel car park is beyond the leisure centre car park). Easy access to surrounding area and south Dublin while being out in the country a bit. Staff were friendly, and helpful. Leisure centre can be accessed from inside the hotel.

Building is looking a little tired in places, although there was some renovation/redecoration starting as we were leaving. From the front of the hotel you could hear the drone of traffic from the nearby dual carriageway, although we were fortunate to have a room at the back were you couldn't hear it. The main restaurant days menu isn't available until late in the afternoon and on the two days we looked, every starter listed nuts as an allergen (even dishes you wouldn't expect to contain nuts) so I couldn't eat there. The bar food had very little vegetarian choice so we mostly eat elsewhere.

The breakfast was very good but Ken and Peter the staff members went above and beyond, I felt so welcome. I would recommend that this will be one of the best hotels in the whole of Ireland. You couldn't get any better welcome. I felt so at home real proper good natured staff I will be coming back 10 fold definitely absolutely pleasure to stay

It was absolutely perfect. Can't find the words to describe.

The food in the Woodland restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast and leisure club were great, the woodland trail was very nice as were the lovely garden and the opportunity to sit out there.

I was not happy with the size of our twin room - it should have had 2night stands and I was also dissatisfied with the window. It was hard to open or close and the paint on the window sill outside was peeling off, it looked dirty and aged - not the kind of view I‘d expect of a 4-star-experience.

The staff were super helpful to me, an american who had never been to ireland before. Any questions, they were willing to help and answer. Also the upstairs restaurant was so fancy and amazing with an incredible view. The pool was fun, I especially liked the bubble area you could turn on in the main pool, not just the jacuzzi.

Shower water temp was a bit hit or miss but not terrible. No air conditioning, but that's typical of most buildings in ireland, I just had to get used to opening my window more often.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and leisure facilities were good. It was all very clean. The hotel was very handy to so many places. Good tea and coffee making facilities in the room. I would go back. It was also reasonably priced.

The bedroom was on the ground floor and was quite basic. We were looking into the car park. I imagine room on floor above would be nicer. Room was very warm. Shower was old style with a curtain, think our bathroom was designed for wheel chair access.

I loved the sports facilities, during my 4 day stay i swam every morning, and went to the gym after work.

I wish that the price of breakfast had been included in the room charge. Although it was a buffet, in actual fact i only had porridge and fruit, and felt that 15 euros wasn't good value. I am vegetarian and we ate in the bar everynight, there was only one veggie choice on the menu, a second choice would have been good, maybe a pasta dish with quorn Bolognese, or just a simple pasta salad.
