After a terrible “start” leaving the US, flights delayed/cancelled, obstacles to renting a car, Ferryport house was relaxing, friendly and super helpful . Staff went out of their way to help us piece together the major changes needed to continue our long awaited visit to Ireland. The staff was kind and happy, the breakfast was delicious, even the night clerk helped us get to our next lodging when we missed our bus by standing on the wrong side of the road (remember Ireland drives on the left).

Our room was on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. Even so, the staff helped us carry our baggage up the stairs (we’re elderly) and back down again when we were leaving.

Lovely, warm welcome. Restaurant on site. Supermarket and a few pubs which serve food within ten minutes' walk. I took bus from Waterford via Wexford and the bus stopped right outside the hotel (and quite a way before the the ferry port which saved a walk for me as I thought I would have to walk back from port). The beach at Rosslare port is actually very nice & sandy and some nice walks and about 15 minute's walk from hotel, which is also an easy walk from the train station (Rosslare Europort not Rosslare Strand). I didn't have breakfast as I was on early ferry. Very big ground floor room which nice view of garden.

Not the hotel's issue, but the supermarket seemed to close quite early & not many other outlets. Otherwise a great place to stay for a foot passenger on ferry. A bit pricey but convenient for my needs

Excellent location for catching the ferry but also for a lovely cliff walk and an excellent meal at the local pub so a lovely end to our trip. Very warm welcome from staff who had great local knowledge. Bedroom was large, very clean and bed was very comfortable. Ensuit was small but had excellent shower. Breakfast menu was varied (has to order the evening before). Would definitely stay here again.

Thought I had booked (and paid for) breakfast when I made reservation but had to do that on arrival. Then I didn't want a full breakfast in the morning (was happy with cereal and toast ) so a bit of a waste of money on the plus side breakfast was served very quickly so no delay when time was tight to catch the ferry.

Breakfast was superb! Half of what was on my plate would have been enough but my brother on the other hand was very satisfied. The whole situation was perfect as we had a nearly ferry back to Wales the following morning which give us time to do some shopping, grab a bite to eat and even enjoy the TV room in the foyer before retiring for the evening! Many thanks indeed

There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like! Everything was perfect and as it should've been

communal areas were lovely, quirky and interesting. Bedroom was practical and clean enough, nice selection of drinks and also biscuits which were a nice touch, staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming, we paid for breakfast and the provision was good, staff at breakfast were helpful, friendly and attentive. Excellent and convenient location to the ferry port, and would definitely stay again as a stop gap after a journey and would happily recommend to others.

Bathroom could maybe benefit from updating, but completely adequate,, shower wasn't particularly powerful, but hot water readily available and clean enough for comfort.

The location was only a few minutes cycle ride from the ferry port. As our ferry had finally docked at 1 am due to bad weather this was definitely a bonus. We had managed to call reception and let them know we wouldn't be arriving until late and the left out key in a key box so we could self check in. The room was clean and comfortable although rather dated. We didn't have breakfast. It wasn't included although could be paid for separately.

The room was rather dated and no breakfast included in the price.

This isn't a B&B you'd use for a holiday destination. And I don't think I'd use Rosslare as a vacation resort either. But if you need to catch a ferry to Europe early the next day you couldn't do much better. It's literally a 5 minute walk or a 2 minute drive to ferry check-in. I had a clean, comfortable room, with the usual kettle, coffee and tea, biscuits etc. The bed was a little on the soft side, but that's a personal taste. Check-in was friendly and easy. I left too early for breakfast, so I can't judge that, but it's charged separately so that was fine by me.

The light bulb over the coffee station/desk was out of order or the switch was well hidden

From the minute we walked into the ferryport house we were met with smiles, we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the B&B, the room was fantastic for a family of 5, bathroom was newly renovated and it is fabulous, staff were so friendly walking distance to supervalu chemist and apache pizza. Definitely would stay again if we were going back.

That there wasn't a late check out but that's only because our boat wasn't till 3. And tv couldn't connect to the internet. But those are minor complaints.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast. Located right by the harbour and a short walk to a nice sandy beach and a couple of bars and restaurants and a supermarket a short walk away.

Decor was a bit dated and it was too far to walk to the main town, but a good spot for a short stop over. We only stayed two nights which was great to give us a day on the beach before moving on. Not much to do for a longer stay.
