NOTE TO BIRDWATCHERS; While having a nice breakfast, enjoying the river view, on two mornings I saw a KINGFISHER just outside the dining room window. There also was a long tailed tit and a seal in the river. what more could you ask for with your breakfst!

The room was extremely clean. The hotel was in close proximity to everything. For example; it was close to Wicklow Gaol and there were plenty of shops nearby. Close to bars and restaurants also. Staff were very friendly. Check in and check out were very easy and quick.
The parking. There was no parking on the hotel premises. We knew that before we travelled up to the hotel but it was still a bit annoying as it was just street parking and pay by the hour. It wasn't too expensive as it was a maximum of 2.50 euro a day for parking but the spaces were limited.

Our room was fantastic with a nice sitting area. The breakfast was great and it was in the lounge overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable. It is a nice town to walk around and short walk to the cliffs.
There was a band playing in the bar below until late for two of the three nights we were there. Dinner in the restaurant was disappointing.

The manager was What we heard about the Irish hospitality and was just wonderful. She really went out of her way and made us feel like she was just focused on us The end was absolutely what we expected, And loved it, The location and the area was beautiful. We experienced our 1st Irish effirish fish-and-chips and our 1st Irish breakfast there and the food was absolutely phenomenal,. We Bought the wrong charging adapters and absolutely needed one, For a medical device do you assure us and gave us the locations of different shops that had the adapters which saved us a trip in half A-day of our vacation backup to Dublin.
That we didn't book a couple more nights there, Because we loved it.

- very nice and cozy room, with a slight view - lovely breakfast where you could pick from a full menu - friendly and approachable staff - decent walking distance to the supermarket, and St Patrick's Church
- parking was across the road, only free after 6pm if I recall correctly - no lifts, so would suggest to pack light or just bring essentials to the room, while leaving the bulky items in the car if you're driving

Absolutely a most wonderful experience. The pub atmosphere was warm and social - excellent beer choices. The rooms were newly renovated with the latest plumbing and tasteful decor and exceptionally clean and inviting with all the little thoughtful details which made our stay so comfortable. The food was truly superb - both dinner and breakfast meals were VERY delicious. We could have had no better introduction to beautiful Ireland than this lovely inn.

super convenient, lovely place and really good facilities. amazing staff and very comfy beds! also excellent food and the breakfast team were particularly lovely.
there are only a couple of bits a shelf in the shower would be super useful! There was no where to put anything but the floor so was very hard to shower without getting wet hair! The door in one of the rooms (33) wouldn’t lock very easily and was a very very heavy. we didn’t mind it at all it’s and old building and will have quirks but maybe something to have a look at :)

No parking was a little bit awkward but there is pay parking on the street.we had an issue with our room when we arrived we were hit with a smell of tobacco smoke.the cleaners heard us talking and said they could smell it themselves!.we didnt complain or anything but it wasnt a great start to our stay.

This is a great place to stay. The accommodation, above the pub, has a separate entrance, is newly decorated and beautifully clean as well as having all the amenities one would expect. The staff are friendly and the pub has a great atmosphere. The location is excellent. The dining room has a close-up view of the fast flowing river and the historic bridge.
On a sunny day in May, with an outside temperature of 17C, our room on the top floor was uncomfortably warm and perhaps best avoided in the summer. Breakfast is from 0900, and was not served until 0920, so this place may not suit anyone wanting to make an early start.

Location was only a 3 minute walk to the Christmas markets. Hotel is located on the river do views are so lovely especially when having breakfast get a booth beside the window it’s beautiful. Staff were great and so friendly. Room was a great size and very modern
No parking only on street parking which had a max stay of 2 hours so we parked down the road in the public car park about an 8. Minute walk to the hotel from there.
