Lovely traditional Bed and Breakfast family run guesthouse in a historical period building. The staff are very friendly and a choice of freshly cooked breakfast alongwith cereals, tea and coffee is offered and is very good. Wifi works very well and the beds are very comfortable. The location is good and is quiet at night with hardly any noise. Rooms are cleaned daily. The Guesthouse also has its own bar with food available.

Nothing really. Just a minor request would add the the addition of water (dispenser) to the breakfast offering would be welcome in addition to juices.

Good location and quite easy to park. Lovely views over the harbour. Clean and comfortable room with a comfortable bed and nice quality bedding. Hot breakfast was nicely cooked

Unfortunately the sound proofing wasn’t great. On the second night we had a poor nights sleep because of noisy pipes, then the person upstairs(?) left their bathroom fan on until 2am which we could still hear with earplugs in. A better choice of cereals and perhaps some small pastries would improve the cold breakfast options. Only BBC channels would work because of poor reception

This was a perfect pit stop for us as we only stayed one night. For those who haven't visited Douglas before this B&B is within walking distance of everywhere. An uphill walk was no problem for us but might be for others. We arrived very early as we had checked we could leave our bags and were told one of our rooms was ready and we could use all day. Very kind. Breafast was great. Rooms are clean and ours had lovely views across the prom. Thank you

Rooms are a little dated but are clean and provide excellent value for money.

Great place to stay ,we stayed in room 105 which gives you a view of the sea and harbour, the room was spacious enough with plenty of seating and the bed was very comfortable,a good powerful shower in the ensuite which was plenty roomy enough ,breakfast was very good and the service was great ,hardly any waiting time between courses and plenty of tea, coffee and toast we purchased a couple of large whiskies in the bar one night and we thought at £20.80 was a bit over the top, easy enough free parking right outside the hotel using the isle of man disc system, all in all we enjoyed our stay and one day we'll be back

Loved the care and hospitality of all the staff. Location was fascinating. Breakfasts delicious. View great. Very quiet neighborhood and so was room mostly!! Loved having tea in room. Any requests about facility handled very quickly.

Three flights of stairs. No railing for top 4 steps was for me dangerous. Bed not made up on Third morning. Neighbours noisy very early morning. Would have liked a lighter bed cover.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful, it makes such a difference when there is a friendly face when you arrive somewhere new. Our room had a big bay window with a view of the sea, and the ferry port in the distance. It was nice to have a local kipper for breakfast. On our last day we had to leave for the ferry too early for breakfast so the barman kindly prepared us a sandwich each and some snacks, very much appreciated.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the place was very clean and the breakfast was very good.

We knew we were to be placed in an annex prior to arriving but didn't realize it was in another building several houses down described as budget accommodation, in a room with no view at all. It was directly opposite another building which had its lights on all night which shone into our room, it had no curtains and very light blinds. We checked in on the Monday and our room hadn't been serviced by Wednesday evening at which point I asked for fresh towels, the lady said it would be serviced the following morning which it was. The hotel is rather an uphill climb from the promenade, something to bear in mind if walking and not the fittest.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was well equipped with tea and coffee and the WiFi worked well for us. Everyone we met was very friendly. Breakfast was very nice and there was a good selection to choose from (including Manx kippers!) We were very pleased with Arrandale House and felt it was excellent value for money.

Very friendly and helpful and very attentive for anything we needed. Breakfasts were a good choice and really tasty. Only a five minute walk from the seafront

The hotel was quite a steep hill, so anybody was walking problems it probably would be a bit of a struggle.
