The hotel feels like part of the history of the city. You have a real sense that you are in Jerusalem. It’s not a hotel that makes you feel you could be anywhere in the world.

The only issue I had was with the concierge, I enquired about a half day tour of the city. he recommended a private full day price tour. I asked was it possible to just do a half day group tour, he didn’t respond and kept pushing the full day private tour, this really put me off. When I asked for the tour brochure they had a half day group tour every day. But all the other staff were excellent and lovely.

This is an amazing hotel! You feel that you are being transported back in time with amazing food and service. The tranquil courtyard garden is a wonderful setting to have breakfast, lunch or just drinks. We stayed in a Pasha room (51), very quiet and secluded with a small garden. . If I was staying again I would opt for the rooms with a terrace - rooms 406, 407, 408 and 409. Slightly more money but worth it.

My only complaint was that the garden furniture in our room garden was quite uncomfortable and cheap. It really needs some loungers or more comfortable chairs/sofa

Windows to a noisy street (constant noise of customers and transport from a bakery and pizzeria working day/night). Breakfast selection and service - cold food, which should be warm, had to wait a long time and repeatedly reminded to bring tea. Breakfast restaurant in a different building than the room (mornings are quite cold in February). The sightseeing offered by the hotel are extremely expensive. A taxi ordered through a hotel is much more expensive than one stopped on the street.

A fabulous hotel with wonderful facilities and great staff who really made our stay a memorable one. We would stay here again for sure if we return to Jerusalem in the future.

After confirming that the hotel catered for Vegan's, we were disappointed with the 1st mornings lack of choice for breakfast. Then after pointing out our disappointment with the management they really turned things around and made great efforts for the remainder of of our stay. Keep the effort up and remember people who follow a vegan diet deserve good choices just the same as any other paying guest.

Location was great as was the food with very generous portions. The central garden was lovely and the lady in charge at the desk moved us from the first room in an annex into a nicer one of the same price in the main building very graciously. T

There was a slight air of faded grandness. One of the plug points near the bed didn’t work, the TV was hung at a slight angle, a balcony door was jammed shut. After arriving and going through security there was no help or direction. When I went to look for something I’d dropped on the bathroom floor the area under the sink was thick with dust

It was so fun to stay at such a historic hotel—and such a beautiful hotel. We loved exploring the grounds, which were lush outside and wonderfully decorated inside. We at breakfast at the hotel every morning and genuinely looked forward to it, as all the food was delicious and there were many options for every palate. We also ate dinner at the hotel one night, which was also great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They greeted us every time we arrived and wished us great days when we'd leave. We recommend the hotel highly and would happily return on our next visit.

I had a single room, and it was quite small. It was comfortable, clean, and the decor was lovely, just a bit smaller than I was anticipating. The rest of my family members shared rooms for two, which were larger and more spacious.

The room was large and a bonus that there was also a bath! The staff were wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The food was faultless and the Summer Bar was a perfect place to sit and let the world go by, whilst enjoying a drink and some nibbles. Thank you to Marian on Reception for helping us organise everything from taxi pickup on our arrival to sorting tour guides and excursions. There is nothing negative to say about our stay. Rooms could do with a little modernisation.

Really modern amenities whilst staying in a room that maintained the rustic charm of an old building (e.g. USB chargers by the bed). The gym had really modern equipment but it was honestly so small - if you need to do a workout that didn't use equipment, there was hardly any space at all. Pool was lovely as was the courtyard for drinks in the evening.

The location was a bit of walk from the main attractions / market (e.g. 10-15mins uber / 20 mins walk). Not too much of an issue but felt a bit further as we had come from Tel Aviv and had stayed in a hotel that was super central so there's a bit of a comparison bias there. The bathroom was not super well laid out and felt a little cramped. However, the shower was great and it was clean so only an aesthetic issue.

Beautiful hotel where you feel very comfortable from the moment you enter the property. Rooms are big. Dinner was very delicious with amazing vegan options.

When the noisy ac is off, the room is not quiet, but loud because of the pipes running trough the walls. We changed the room, but it was the same in the next room. Standard rooms are rather dark, not much light coming in. The hotel is a little bit far away from the city. Bathroom is dated with a bathtub instead of a no step shower. There is a school nearby where the Pupils shout something every morning and the windows are not sound proof. A mosque is very close so you hear the Muezzin sing.

Staff was very nice. The place is special and full of history. Gardens are beatiful and it's really nice to have coffe or breakfast in the patio. The breakfast had a nice spread. There is a wonderful pool, which wasn't too packed. My kids loved the hotel.

Our porch had a bad view, which was disappointing considering that we booked a suite. There weren't many options in the area we felt comfortable to walk around and look for a place to eat ir just tour around a bit without taking the car. The resturant at the hotel was extremly pricy and the food wasn't great and occasionally took a long time to get the food.
