very kind staff, attentive tu any necessarily. great buffet breakfast with multiple options to choose. rooms very comfortable, tv works, air conditioner, wide bathroom. ubicación it’s good, it takes about 5-7 min walking to get into herodes gate and about 12 min to damascos gate. price is fair comparing to other hosts cause jerusalem it’s really expensive so this one was the more kind of “”favorable”” for sleeping + breakfast.

- private tours of the hotel really expensive. - private taxi driver of the hotel from there to Hussein borderline to Jordan absolutely expensive 250 SHEKELS, it’s better to take a mini bus in star taxi near de Damascus gate. - the cleaning staff never changed the sheets on our beds in 5 nights even 1 of them was dirty due to coffe spoil and obviously sweat of summer. - in the check in staff does not help you carrying your luggage to the room, even if you come with big bags.

The location is great, near Herod's Gate leading to the old town of Jerusalem. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff is really nice and tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible, they really are accommodating. The breakfast is better than I expected, yet it is a buffet and you get the same options every day but overall a good selection. This is no luxury hotel but a solid one - especially if you book last minute like we did.

The shower has no barriers so you literally cannot help but create a flood in the washroom, which is super inconvenient especially if you wear glasses like me and cannot see in the shower without them - a slipping hazard. They also did not pick up the trash when they would clean the room daily unless specified which was strange. I think they can definitely do a better job or cleaning up after guests, albeit it was not dirty just remained messy. Missing key amenities in the room like a kettle or hair fan (need to ask reception to borrow one). Many sockets were broken, including the one in which the TV and refrigerator were plugged meaning they were not working.

Great hotel in an excellent location, maximum 15mins walk to Al Aqsa masjid. The breakfast was delicious and always plentiful and staff were always very friendly and helpful. They even let me take breakfast back to my room for my wife who had to miss the times to stay with my sleeping daughter. The people at the hotel are amazing and always helpful. A special thanks to Anita who always went above and beyond. She was always super helpful and knowledgeable and even sorted out a taxi for my family for a full day tour of some Palestinian towns and a taxi ride back to the airport. A massive thank you for a wonderful stay. Will definitely recommend and would stay again!

The furniture is a bit dated and the mattress aren't the most comfy. The breakfast time from 0700 to 0900 is too early. They charged my taxi guy a 20% commission rate which was really unfair.

We were unhappy with the first room we were given, but a staff member, Anwar, found us a different room which worked much better. We were located a short distance from the wall around Old Jerusalem, and from the Garden Tomb, both places we were anxious to visit.

In our room, the bathtub was small and a little strange - unlike anything I had seen before. I'm not sure how it was supposed to be used, but standing and trying to take a shower in it was uncomfortable as there were no hand-holds.

We have very much appreciated the location and especially the staff – all of them were so nice and ready to help. We had interesting and very informative talks with Anita at the reception. Not to forget Rana at the breakfast who was always smiley and helpful. Thanks to all for making our stay the best possible.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and quiet location. Helpful and friendly staff. Anita at the front desk was very helpful. She gave advice on how to get to places using both public and private transportation. She and her colleagues gave clear view of city informations and was available 24/7.

Hotel starting to show its age, in need of modernisation.

The staff made this hotel. Especially Anita at reception who would make sure our rooms were comfortable. Rana at breakfast who would help me arrange my son medication and chef Mohammed and Mohammad H. Both chefs would make us fresh eggs for breakfast and even cooked me a soup when my son was sick. Abid and Mahmoud were always accommodating and made sure rooms were clean each day. There was a communal area were my group of 12 could sit and play card and chat . They made my stay like home and I could not have enjoyed Jerusalem without them. I recommend this hotel 100% the hotel is a 5 min walk to old city Herod gate.

The property is definitely in need of upgrade. Decor beds furnishing is probably way overdue. However due to the hotel being in the Muslim quarters they are subjected to all the discriminatory rule imposed amongst upon Palestinians by the apartheid government and this doesn’t exclude Palestinians business owners either. I would not deter booking due to this and support the local Palestinians business who are living and working under the worst apartheid regime I have seen in my life.

The staff was polite and helpful every time. Daily breakfast was quite enough. Lots of different varieties to suit every person. Rooms are clean, daily house keeping and fully air conditioned. The location is excellent. Easily access to most of the local attractions on foot. The bus station and Light rail station are very close. Also buses to Bethlehem easily can get from there. Al Aqsa Mosque is just 12-15 minute walk. I fully recommend this place to your next visit to Jerusalem. 24 hours hot and cold water, coffee and tea is available to the guests free of cost.

Nothing. Just for the more improvement in the hotel, I noticed there is nothing to hang anything in the bath. If hotel management can fix some hanging hocks in the bathroom, then guests can easily hang their clothes and towels there.

Location - just 5 minutes to the Herod's Gate. Surrounding streets were well lit and we felt safe coming back even late in the evening. The room was dated, but was cleaned every day and had a fridge and a safe. Nice and comfortable places to meet and sit outside of the room. Delicious and rich breakfast included, tea and coffee available all the time. Dedicated and helpful staff, especially Ibrahim in the restaurant and people at the reception. The problem in the bathroom have been solved quickly. Very good value for money.

The shower/bath was uncomfortable.
