the location was impeccable, in the safety and richness of Jaffa street, but just tucked away off of it, and with many wonderful nearby places to eat. do yourself a favor and try Zalman’s hot dogs for lunch! the property itself was exceptionally well priced, and the staff were all very helpful, especially Mr Lee. i was a bit difficult at times, and they helped me through any need i had.
the only downside is that at times the neighborhood is a bit loud, but to be fair that is the consequence of the location. you can’t have the Pro without the Con. there are a lot of stairs, which was no issue to me and my friend, but if going up multiple flights of stairs is difficult for you, you’d best factor this in.

This hotel has a big enough to stay and also clean toilet. Separate room and separate toilet and washroom. There's air conditioner and a quite peaceful location. Good service desk always helpful. There's free coffee ☕ and tea 🍵 also common dinning room near the reception service. Yes they also provide private refrigerator so if you bring food will not spoil. Come and enjoy yourself the best location which is also nearby Jerusalem rail line so it make more easy for transportation. Wish you a happy journey
There's no elevator/lift so you need to climb on the stair with your things. No separate micro-oven or water boiler incase you want to warm up your food or make tea at your room so all you need to do is to go back to reception service to used micro-oven or tea/coffee. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Old school boutique hotel in the middle of everything! Front of house and cleaning staff all super nice and helpful when needed (hey Tariq!). Classic Jerusalem stone build with a sweet little balcony for coffee and chats. All in great value. ☑️
Hmmm… It’s not free? Other than that, right on point IMO. There is no lift so stairs might be a problem for those with mobility issues.

We tried this hotel regardless of its not very high rating and we have never regretted about that. This hotel has a great location with 15 min of slow walk to the old city. There are plenty of cafes and shops near it. The rooms are quite large, there is hot water and good WiFi. You can also use its dining area with free tea, coffee, and drinking water. And this hotel is really affordable! So, on our second visit to Jerusalem, we returned to hotel Zion.
The furniture is a bit shabby, the bed linen is old and the hotel itself is not very clean.

The location is near the most important places to visit. There are shops, restaurants and bus station near the hotel. Is not very clean, meaning not a 5 star cleaning, but it's decent. We expected to be worse after reading some reviews. The staff is very friendly. The facilities include an iron station, coffee, tea in the lobby area. We recommend this hotel when you want to visit, not to relax.

Good location, the railway/central bus stations and the Old City are easily reachable by tram or even on foot. Fast food / supermarket are nearby. A nice historical building made of carved stone There is free hot/cold water available and turkish coffee.
No elevator up to the top floor. Outside it can get a bit noisy. Electrical outlets are not plentiful but ok, they fit the european standard.

The location is great: In a quiet side street from Jaffa Street, in walking distance from bus and train station, from the old town and from the orthodox quarter Mea Sharim and also from the Independence Park. Cafés and bakeries in the neighbourhood. The hotel is styly, maybe from colonial times, spacious lobby on the first floor, free coffee and tea at every time. Very friendly staff. Clean and cosy rooms, quiet at night. With fridge in the room. We recommend it also for families as the area and the near suroundings of the hotel are car-free and very safe.

I came for some excursions to Jerusalem, I was looking for a small hotel in the centre, and not too expensive. The hotel was exactly what I expected to get. - The stuff is very friendly and helpful; - The bed was good; - There is a small fridge (my excursions started pretty early, so I had some room for my yoghurt:) and fruits); - In the lobby there is a tap with cold water and boiling water.
- There is no lift (elevator). However, you can ask the stuff to help.

# loads of shops and restaurants around # old town is a 10-12 mins walk # tram stop is right outside # hot water, tea, coffee and water is available in reception area. # very helpful staff # reception area is nice # central bus / train station is 20-25 mins walk or a short ride on tram ( which they call train) # good Wi-Fi
# room needs a bit refurbishment # if your room at the very top then prepare for some stairs if you have heavy luggage

If you want to visit the city center the location of this hotel may not be great since it's right in front of the beach - but then again, if you want to be near the sea it's perfect! Staff was super kind, food was great, room had a comfy large bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was large enough with a good shower. WiFi was a bit of hit or miss but overall acceptable.
The air conditioning started dripping water, and you could tell it was broken from the beginning. Be aware there is no lift.
