The Ruby is located at a period house in the old part of Tel Aviv, a walking distance to all the good things the city has to offer, beach, culture and of course a unique culinary experience. We had a south-facing balcony and even in December, we were lucky to catch some rays. Being centrally located, the room was surprisingly quiet. I loved the design, attention to detail, and free access to coffee and beer. Highly recommended stay

The shower room was a little tight for space getting in and out. The room could use a small shelf or unit to put loose staff on when walking in, like sunglasses and coins.

We loved the furnishings and public spaces of this stylishly decorated place in the middle of Neve Tzedek. Rooms were a bit small, but well-designed and contained everything we needed. The common areas were key to our enjoyment, we had breakfast there each day. They've made good use of technology; everything works, is well explained, and as a result they don't have anyone on-site, which was fine. Breakfasts are a highlight of many Israeli hotels, and this one doesn't offer it (though it has Nespresso machines and free beer). There are tons of great bakeries and breakfast places a block or two away, so it didn't bother us in the slightest. Loved it!

At first we thought the place was quite expensive but at the end we agreed it was worth the money. Walking distance from eateries and bars, we even walked to the beach for sunset. Tel Aviv it's expensive everywhere so we liked we didn't have to deal with any moody receptionist, with a code you access the property and your room. In any emergency there is a contact number available during working hours. Be aware that the hot water is a bit tricky to work out to get it running but you can of course message through booking.com the property to ask them clear instructions. Good quality towels, charging points with USB as well as normal. We liked the cleanliness, the quietness and the free beer! We didn't see any other guests there at the time. We used the washing facilities and it was very handy. You can keep your luggage stored in the room where the dryer and washing machine are. There is not lock or anything but the house has CCTV cameras outside and inside.

We loved our stay at Ruby. The room was beautiful and cleaned every day. A nice surprise were the 4 living-room-kitchen-areas which offered a lot of privacy for all guests. Another nice surprise were the complimentary drinks offered every day. The location is excellent, beautiful area with a delicious bakery around the corner. We got our breakfast there every morning and enjoyed it in the lush terrace at Ruby.

We have enjoyed our stay at Ruby very much. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they managed to organize an earlier check in which was great. The place looks exactly like in the photos, the shared spaces were super nice and the bed was extra comfortable.

Even though the building is located in rather quiet part of the street we did hear traffic noises in the morning. It would be nice to have a dresser or a small table in the room where you can put your small belongings as well as an iron.

FANTASTIC location. Beautiful design in a recently renovated building. The high ceilings and stylish communal areas were also a highlight. Very clean and thoughtfully decorated. Lots of natural light. The AC cooled the room quickly.

The bed and bedding were comfy, except for the oddly thick pillows. A bit of additional shelving in the bathroom would also be helpful for storing toiletries. It was unclear how to contact staff for assistance, so I reached out through the “contact us now” feature on the Google Maps listing and they responded in ~15 min. A welcome sheet with that kind of info would be helpful upon arrival.

During our stay, we loved the particular style of the place and the cleaniness of our room. The location was amazing: near the Neve Tzedek and the beach, but not in a crowded or noisy area. Our stay there was perfect!

As written in other reviews, there's no staff on site, but that is not a problem at all. The information regarding our stay were sent to us a day before our arrival and it was all perfectly clear. Also, in the room there is a telephone number if a guest needs anything.

Beautifully designed interiors in a gorgeous building, good location (easy access to Rothschild boulevard, walking distance to Jaffa) with lots of good bars & restaurants nearby. Although no reception staff on site, they were very responsive via WhatsApp when needed. Common areas/kitchenettes were handy and the air con was good!

Cold shower!! Room/towel change policy seemed a bit haphazard (which didn’t bother us for a 3 night stay).

Excellent location in Neve Tzedeck and close to Florentine. stylisch small house with about 20 rooms only. VERY minimalistic furtiture in the room: A bed (a good one). No chair, no seat, no table, no drawer etc. a "community room" could be used to work on the Laptop.
