Since the beginning, the staff has been extremely friendly, They even stayed with me on the line until I parked my car in the free parking next to the hotel. I really liked how they preserved the over 200 year old building and put a lot of light, good energy and modernity in it. The room itself was big enough for 3 people and it was very well furnished. the cafe area was always full of cookies, coffe and diffrent type of teas, the backyard was the place I spent the most of the time, I met new people that also travel in Tel aviv at the same time, and we shared great evnings, the enery of the place is amazing. I had everything I need 24/7. Thank you, Chen from Brussels.

barbara and guy are unique. people who work from the heart who make you feel at home and go out of theur way to help in every possible way. early this morning, on a Saturday, when everybody is still asleep, as we were leaving the hotel, we discovered that our car would not start. within minutes they roped another guest to the help and all 3 of them rushed over to help us start the car, giving us further advice, where we can fix our car. this is not our first visit to the hotel and we are sure to come back and tell our friends about this unique treasure

We stayed one night as a place to set out to the Tel Aviv airport for an early-morning flight. It proved to be a straightforward drive in our rental car from the property to the airport, especially in the early-morning hours with little traffic on the streets. The staff was very friendly. The situation was really fluid during our stay due to a war having broken out, but everyone was really accommodating. The building is a historic property, and the rooms are quite unique. There is a beautiful, landscaped garden and patio. It does have a room set aside as a safe room. The location is within easy driving distance (maybe 10 minutes or so) of the historic Jaffa neighborhood and beach.
The parking garage that serves the property is cramped, but there is also parking in a lot across the street from the property that had plenty of space. The room did have a faint musty smell. We didn't stay but a matter of hours, considering we had to depart for the airport really early in the morning, so it was tolerable. For tall people, some rooms are going to feel too short for you, due to low ceilings.

Lala is a real find. We we liked staying there so much the first time, we returned to stay a second time. 😀 The rooms are comfortable and well designed. I love the old combined with the new in the building. The staff is wonderful, and respond to every request quickly. The coffee machine is a blessing! A minutes walk is a grocery and bakery. Together with the small fridge in the room, we were set for breakfast. I did not miss the hotel buffet experience at all. One evening, after a tiring day, we ordered dinner to be delivered and ate in the patio, which was perfect.
That we had to check out and go home!

The staff are super friendly and super communicative. I had to ask a few questions via whatsapp and I would receive a reply in under a minute. The property is walking distance to Yafo. If you want to visit the beaches in Telaviv you will need either a car or scooter, but there is a parking lot right across the street if you have a rental. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. There is a wonderful little bakery 30 metres away where you can buy the most delicious chocolate croissant.
The property is just beyond walking distance to the main beaches in Telaviv, but I knew that when I booked, so not really a complaint; just an observation. I have zero complaints about the property, the service or the staff.

- The kindness and flexibility of the owner (she got me by car the first time down to the old city) - The simple breakfast offered by the hotel (coffee/cappuccino and some good pastries) - Some water from the minibar offered from the hotel - Historical remains across the hotel (in my case an old storage silo under my floor, simply covered with a glass plate and properly illuminated, like and archeological find).
- The living room, the shower and the sink are in the same space, but this is due to the historical origin of the hotel; not a real disadvantage, but just to be aware that furnishings are not separated (WC though is within a separate room).

The hotel is cool and funky. But the best of the best is Barbara, the owner-manager. Before our arrival I got a horrible sciatica attack. I could barely walk. Barbara went way beyond the call of duty. She drove my wife and I to a restaurant for breakfast, picked us up and she even arranged for me to get some physical therapy. She was sincerely concerned with my condition and did everything she possibly could to help me, and with the sincerity of a big thoughtful heart. If you want to stay somewhere where the ownership has no limits as to how helpful they can be, look no further than LaLa.

Excellent boutique hotel. It has great style and is well kept and clean. The staff are exceptional and go way above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and ensure all needs are met. The staff were extremely responsive to all communication both before arrival and during our stay. The hotel was immaculate and clean. There is a rooftop area for guests that is perfect for relaxing and for nice views of the city. There was free coffee and snacks available in the lobby throughout the day.
My only complaint was the location. The hotel is far from most amenities and tourist areas and requires a 20 to 25 minute walk (or taxi cab ride). There is a convenience store and ice cream shop across the street.

Charming little hotel with endearing décor. Affordable. Super likable and helpful hostess. Ease of check in and parking. Delectable complementary coffee/tea nook with lots of sweets was, needless to say, a hit. A room, though having somewhat weird arrangement (shower, toilet, sink) , had all we needed and was spacious.
Room didn't have a window, hence a day light. The place is out of the bitten tourist path, hence a need to drive to every attraction. I was planning to walk to/from Jaffa, but the hotel location didn't encourage us to do such.

The hospitality and responsiveness of Barbara was exceptional. We arrived on a Saturday and reception was closed but it wasn’t an issue as she communicated well in advance how to get there, access codes, WiFi, etc. She was also very helpful guiding us to places of interest, delivery, taxi services etc. The place is very unique and well decorated. The rooms are cozy and there is a beautiful garden terrace. There’s always cookies, sweets and coffee at reception. We felt very welcomed.
Bathroom is open and it’s ok when you are alone but maybe not too private if you have company
