Hotel location and pool area

room was a bit dissappointing the bathroom and toilet faciltys were strange that the toilet was seperate location and basin was in the room itself This aside the view was amazing The hotel corridor smelt badly of cannabis, breakfast was very different that the offerings were strange but staff were very pleasant

Fantastic location with views to die for. Pool was just lovely with lots of sun beds. Room was gorgeous- spacious and the bed was so comfortable. Had breakfast which was excellent- so much choice.

I would have liked to have some information in the room about the facilities available including the various theme evenings they hold. We nearly missed the fire evening- only knew when they closed the pool early! Would have also preferred for the air con to be able to be turned down more. We asked but not possible.

Beautiful view, nice size room

Bathroom was too dark and one can hear even little sound in bedroom since there is no door, just a curtain. Actually the whole room is dark and the elevator needs a flashlight inside to find the right button. Hotel is ok but overpriced. Not worth the amount they charge.

Breakfast buffet is worth including it was great, try the sister restaurant on the beach front rather than downstairs in the hotel for a change for the buffet breakfast . Most comfy bed I’ve stayed in for a long time , great black out blinds and walk In shower/wet room

It was a shame we missed the evening DJ entertainment around the pool wasn’t aware when booking and let the day of the event. It’s a shame the hotel dosent gave balcony’s but the architecture of the building is beautiful . In the bathroom the loo is just frosted glass slightly limited privacy

The location was amazing and the views were sensational. The hotel was clean and tidy and a nice place to be in.

I booked a room with a balcony and a hot tub. Unfortunately, we called maintenance out to fix the hot tub but even after we were told that it was fixed, it still didn’t warm up. Then the next day, when we reported it again, maintenance came again but by the time it was fixed, we had to check out.

thought really poor that neither of the pools were heated/ this is exactly the time of year the heating should be on.... really poor

The hotel is fabulous and perfect place to stay in Barcelona, excellent location and right on the beach. The staff are friendly, attentive and receieved an upgrade due to my birthday. The room is spacious, beds are very comfortable, walk-in shower is heavenly and sea view room is just breathtaking. The spa is fantastic and very spacious, Jacuzzi is massive! You need to book prior to your visit as they offer an hour slot (due to covid). Had a lovely meal at their restaurant Fire and their daily breakfast is delicious.

Unfortunately I am still waiting for the monies owed back on my credit card. I reveieved no update / feedback and sent 4 emails, I checked out 4 days ago. I orginally went to reception the day before to handle the payment and I was told this would be credited back once I check out. When I checked out told their system only operates in the evening and I would be contacted (by email) that evening which did not happen. This is not what I expected from a 5 star resort and I am disappointed. I should not be kept waiting or have to chase (which I need to do). I do find this very unsettling and want it resolved.

Advantages: - Separate beach entrance with changing rooms - Several authentic restaurants right under the exit to the beach - Dedicated taxi line-up near the entrance - Great views both on port & the city

We arrived late evening and got a different upgraded room but on lower floor. However, in the morning it turned out it had a smell from the bathroom - beware of the lower floors, must be having old pipes or smth. Staff member got us another room on a higher floor, so the issue was resolved. Also Eclipse top deck night club was closed due to COVID regulations

This is our 4th stay and we really love it Views of the city from the room are fabulous. Location is great and most staff are great.

It isn’t as attentive as it used to be. Check in and out is a queue, nobody to meet you from the taxi- nobody to call a taxi. On our first stay the gin and tonic were in bowl glasses with curls of cucumber etc - this stay was a plastic tumbler with ice - no finesse Nobody took bags to the room as a matter of expectation. On our first visit, staff were stationed by doors to open them and welcome you - that’s gone.

It was a fantastic stay from A to Z! I wouldn't want to miss a minute of it. It is extremely clean, the rooms are spacious, the food and drink is fabulous. From the porter, receptionist to the waiter, everyone is extremely accommodating and you really feel like you are in good hands. The magnificent view of the sea and the harbour immediately gives you a feeling of relaxation. The spa is very nice. The fitness is great! The best hotel breakfast I've ever had by a huge margin. The hotel has its price, but is worth every cent. We will definitely come again. Everyone should experience this customer-friendly service. Thank you for making this possible.
